1995 påbörjades en omfattande inventering av samtliga byggnader i Visby innerstad på uppdrag av länsmuseet på Gotland. Det material som samlades in placerades i en Accessdatabas för att kunna användas av museet, länsstyrelsen på Gotland och stadsarkitektkontoret i Visby. Emellertid hade man vid inventeringens start inte någon klar struktur för att skapa enhetlighet i materialet och därför blev resultatet en svåranvändbar databas. Tillgängligheten till databasen begränsades också eftersom man var tvungen att göra en kopia till var och en som behövde möjlighet att använda den. Möjligheten att uppdatera informationen i databasen var alltså i stort sett obefintlig, eftersom man då skulle vara tvungen att skicka ut nya versioner till alla användare.

Computers together with Internet have been growing enormously, during the last decade and the area of information technology has been growing in the same speed. As long as the surrounding environment evolves, the business models must within the IT-area, keep the same pace. So, how do business corporations handle this change to attract customers? How do the dominant business models look like? In many cases, they are apparently much the same. But what differences can we see and what areas can be improved? We have showed that the IT area isn?t just one, it consist of several segments.

Auditing demands knowledge in many diverse areas. To be able to provide all this knowledge it is necessary for the auditor to have access to persons with special skills. Through these contacts the auditor builds up a business network that brings support in the daily work. Our purpose with this study is to find out how auditor?s network in big auditing firms is organized and to show how they use their network.

Syfte Studiens syfte är att utvärdera internprissystemet på Blekingesjukhuset i Karlskrona. Metod Uppsatsen är en fallstudie av internprissystemet på Blekingesjukhuset i Karlskrona. För att tillföra en viss bredd till utvärderingen utgörs vårt empiriska material av intervjuer med såväl verksamhetschefer, planeringsstrateg, controllers samt sjukhusets ekonomidirektör. Med avsikt att underlätta presentationen av studiens resultat och utvärderingen, som sådan, har vi utformat en utvärderingsmall baserad på den information som samlats in under våra intervjuer. Slutsatser Studien pekar på att sjukhuset använder internprissystemet i syfte att skapa kostnadsmedvetenhet bland de anställda, för att på så sätt förhindra överkonsumtion av tjänster som utförs internt.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze and propose improvements to the current procedure for cost estimations of purchased maintenance work at Banverket, the Swedish rail administration. This governmental institution is responsible for the procurement of maintenance services for the country?s railroad network through open tenders. Due to the generally low number of contractors, it is particularly necessary to establish accurate cost estimates in order to assess the offers and ensure that a fair price is being paid to the suppliers. Several flaws associated with the current practice are identified and analyzed according to cost accounting theories.

Furthermore also examine the critical success factors that influence the success respectively the failure of the IT-projects. Method: To attain the purpose with our study we have chosen a qualitative method. This work is a GIS study of fishing rights distribution between different categories of ownersand properties in the Stockholm Archipelago. The purpose was to create basic data used toestablish fishing laws and restrictions within the Stockholm County.Stockholm?s archipelago consists of a unique environment and is the natural life andreproduction environment for ? of Sweden?s reproducing fish species. The increasingpressure from fishing, tourism and weekend population increases the need for an efficientfishing administration to prevent impoverishment and to ensure the biological diversity inSwedish fishing waters. There is an increasing need to review fishing administrationmethodologies, as well as studying the categories of ownership and properties located insensitive areas and areas influenced by physical disturbances in order to establish effectivelaws and restrictions.The Swedish fishing rights for an area are currently not connected to the ownership of theproperty to which it belongs.

Titel: Investeringsbeslut under osäkerhet ? en fallstudie på Perstorp Declam AB Författare: Christer Grövnes Handledare: Anders Hederstierna, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola Problem: Traditionellt har affärsskolorna lärt företagsledare att investeringbeslut kan återkallas om förhållandena ändras, vilket betyder att de på något sätt kan göras ogjorda och att utgifterna kan återvinnas. Om det är så att investeringarna inte kan återkallas, är de en fråga om nu eller aldrig tillfällen, vilket innebär att möjligheten går förlorad om man inte tar tillfället i akt att göra investeringen. Istället för att se på investeringar som återkalleliga betonar den senaste forskningen på området det faktum att företagen har möjligheten att investera och att de måste utnyttja dessa möjligheterna mer effektivt. Forskningen bygger på att man ser investeringar som optioner dvs som rättigheten men inte skyldigheten att handla på ett visst sätt i framtiden, vilket är analogt med en finansiell köpoption (call option).

The aim with this thesis is to study the risk management in construction projects at the Swedish Road Administration, SRA. Furthermore, the aim is to find the effects of the risk management. The theorem of this thesis is that the positive effects of the risk management in construction projects create additional value to the project. These additional values are that the project itself becomes resilient and that the project goals are achieved without any significant disturbances.This thesis shows that the risk management in construction projects do not follow the guidelines set out by the SRA. This is due to a lack of education in the method and a difficult method all together.

Deliberative politics offers a new and exiting way of overcoming the problems that the western democracy of today is facing. A lot of research in the most recent years have had the goal to replace the representative democracy with a decision-making frame built on decentralization and deliberation. The goal for this essay is to create a framework for local decision-making, based on deliberativ norms, that could work as a complement to the representative democracy instead of replacing it.During the recent years the so-called "brukarråd"; councils for the most common users of one special public service, has been a new way for the local government to get in direct contact with those who are most affected by changes and developments in the specific area of the public administration. In this essay I argue for that these councils should be designed so that they could house deliberative processes.After creating a model for the possible way of designing the "brukarråd" I compare the framework with the system that exists today. In this way there is a possibility to point out if there is a way to deepen the democracy within the already existing system..

Kollegiet för svensk bolagsstyrning, ett samarbete mellan det privata näringslivet och den statliga Förtroendekommissionen, har arbetat fram en kod vars syfte är att ge en samlad bild av god svensk praxis på området och bidra till en förbättrad styrning av svenska bolag. Denna uppsats bygger på en kvalitativ undersökning, där intervjuer har gjorts med fyra mindre företag och två sakkunniga inom ämnet bolagsstyrning. Uppsatsen ämnar undersöka hur revideringen av Svensk Kod för bolagsstyrning påverkar våra intervjuföretag, Oasmia Pharmaceutical AB, Tretti.se AB, Avalon Enterprise AB och Firefly AB. Analysen utvärderar skillnaderna mellan Kollegiets syfte med Koden och företagens inställning till den. Ett flertal observationer kunde göras, genom vilka författarna har dragit slutsatsen att företagen i dagsläget inte är fullt insatta i Kodens syfte och att de har en varierande inställning till revideringen av Koden.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att se hur effektiva metoder och resurshantering påverkaroffentliga förvaltningar i Borås. Vi för även en diskussion om hur implementeringen avstyrmodeller såsom Lean har för inverkan på förvaltningarna. The questions we asked ourselves in this study is whether there is any differences?Purpose: The purpose of the study is to from a leadership perspective see if there are any differences between organizational structures, leadership and communication depending on whether it is a traditional or a new bank.Method: In this study, primary and secondary data was used to best obtain comprehensive information, which was analyzed on the basis of a set of question. In order to obtain our raw data, interviews with staff from Swedbank and IKANO bank were conducted.

In order to get a better understanding of the interaction between employees and their technical work tools one needs to know what factors influence the interaction. The purpose of this study was to examine if there is a correlation between the personality traits Extraversion (E) and Neuroticism (N), tested with Eysenck Personality Inventory (EPI), and experience of the new Intranet among employees at The Swedish National Transport Administration (SNTA), and also to gather information of employees? opinions about the new Intranet. A survey, containing questions about the Intranet and a personality test (EPI), was posted on SNTA?s Intranet for eight workdays (N = 88, females = 53, males = 35).

By using open interviews we have been able to get an open dialog with our respondents.Theory: We have compared with different theories, such as Rombach?s budget-theory and Wildavsky?s role theory.Empirics: The material is based on interviews and conversations with key figures in different levels of the organisations in Landskrona and Kristianstad.Conclusions: The success of a cost-saving process depends on the engagement, awareness and how inclined to changes the persons in the organisations are. Has everybody the willingness to take responsibility fore the organisation and the changes that the surrounding world claims?.
