This report is about the impact climate change has on the water and sewage systems in general, and the situation in the municipality of Karlstad in particular. Which vulnerabilities are linked to water and sewage systems with regard to climate change and extreme weather situations, what are the possibilities to adapt the system to this and what significance does climate Adaptation of the water and sewage systems have in relation to sustainable development?To answer these questions I have studied literature on the subject and interviewed several people who work with these types of questions. The answers I have received state that there are a multitude of vulnerabilities linked to the water- and sewage systems, but that there are also many strong interests which strive to take measures and adapt to a changed climate. This study deals with the phenomenon of European integration and its impact on national party programs in Poland, a current member state of the European Union. Sense of coherence amongst employees with reduced work-capacity at Samhall.Sanela Jakupovic TrostekScientific essay in public health, 15 hp, Academy of Health and promoting Working Life, University of GävleThe aim of this study was to examine how employees at Samhall who has reduced work-capacity experienced their sense of coherence (SOC). The study includes gender, age and civil status in the analysis. The study includes 34 respondents which are divided as 20 men and 14 women. To measure SOC a quantitative method with a 29 standardized questionnaire was used.It was found that the employees felt, in general, low SOC, which means more difficult Adaptation to their life situation. Noteworthy is that 70 % of the men in this study showed low SOC compared to 35,7 % of the women.One conclusion that can be drawn is that within Samhall, it showed that women had a higher SOC mean value than men which means they are more equipped to handle, understand and find meaning in their work life. Keywords: Antonovsky, Samhall, disability, work-capacity, sense of coherence (SOC).

Syftet med denna kvalitativa studie var att, ur ett klientperspektiv, skildra vad som möjliggör fortsatt yrkesarbete hos personer med Reumatoid artrit. Undersökningsgruppen bestod av tio personer, sex kvinnor och fyra män i åldrarna 32-59 år som yrkesarbetade hel eller deltid. Fokusgruppintervjuer genomfördes. Intervjuutskrifterna analyserades utifrån en komparativ kodningsprocess. Resultatet visade att egenskaper hos såväl individ som omgivande miljö var betydelsefulla för att fortsätta yrkesarbeta.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to examine the methods public libraries can use in order to market youth services. It is also a chance to evaluate an untested marketing model adapted to public libraries. Young people are one of the most difficult groups to attract to the library and thus librarians need adequate methods to deal with this problem. We have interviewed librarians, carried out observations and examined documents in accordance to the triangulation method. Before one can begin marketing the libraries one ought to know of how marketing is done and the principles behind it, therefore we have given a simple explanation of marketing and marketing theory.

The objective of this thesis is to examine the capital structure of Swedish small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). Accounting data from Swedish game developers, combined with the result from a survey, is used to examine their financial conditions and capital structure decisions. We find that non-debt tax shield, firm size, growth opportunities and age are, to various extents, the determinants of capital structure in the game industry, while effective tax rate and asset structure have marginal effects. Our study also implicates that most of the existing capital structure theories can explain SMEs leverage decisions to some extent; however, some Adaptation is needed to fit these theories into the SME context. Additionally, we find the existence of a financial gap in the game industry which might need efforts from both demand side and supply side to eliminate..

In this study we aim to investigate what employees at a callcenter see as prospects, opportunities and barriers of learning within a company. To answer the purpose of this essay, two questions were formulated; "What opportunities for learning does employees experience in the company?" and "How can learning in the workplace improve for the sellers?". First, we present what previous research has highlighted regarding workplace learning and learning within the callcenter industry. Afterwards we present ten semi-structured interviews with leaders and sellers within a telecom company in Stockholm.

Studiens syfte är att undersöka vilka undervisningsmetoder och strategier som tillämpas i ett urval av gymnasiala Aspergergrupper. Undersökningen lägger fokus på konkreta undervisningsstrategier, elevens grundläggande behov som måste tillgodoses i en undervisningssituation, diagnosens hinder och möjligheter samt hur undervisande lärare upplevelser sitt yrke. I studien intervjuas sex personer som alla har kopplingar till en Aspergerverksamhet. Förutom en omfattande intervjudel finns en övergripande redovisning av diagnosbegreppet samt tidigare forskning kring Aspergerelevens skolsituation med i arbetet. Några av de slutsatser som framkommer i studien är vikten av individualiserad undervisning, grundläggande anpassningsbehov av läromedel, kursmoment och övningar samt behovet av noggranna förberedelser inför ett mottagande av en Aspergerelev.

The aim is to compare research with the actual experiences of people with Asperger syndrome, in relation to their difficulties in society / communication. Three questions have been given extra attention. The first is what similarities and differences there are between people with Asperger syndrome.

The Marine Corps successfully managed to suppress the insurgency as violence dropped dramatically in late 2007. What did the marines do in order to suppress the insurgency?
