The accounting scandals that have attracted attention in recent years have led to internal control becoming a more central part of business Activity. Doubts about what firms actually do have increased, all caused by the attention of accounting scandals. To counter this, frameworks and laws evolved and gained a significant role in the organization and its surroundings. The aim of the present study is to find out how four companies in the Kristianstad region are working to ensure its internal control and how they work to minimize risk and reduce uncertainty. We have used a qualitative method and interviewed a person in a senior position in each company.

The decomposition of organic carbon in drained peat soils is a major source of carbon di-oxide in Sweden. A big part of these drained peat soils are used in agriculture and it is a big challenge to slow down their decomposition. It has earlier been thought that less tilling and higher water table levels would decrease the Activity of soil microbes and thereby the decomposition, but recent experiments has showed that this has little or no effect. In this bachelor thesis a field experiment was made on drained peat soil with ley, outside Björklinge, Uppsala municipality, Sweden. The experiment was carried out in May 2011. The objective was to develop a method to examine how the net exchange of carbon diox-ide from plant covered peat soil is affected by temperature and photosynthetically active radiation (PAR).

AbstractStormwater is defined as rain- and melted water. Ludvika kommun had little knowledgde about the stormwater that reaches a specific recipient Lyviken. Therefore they intended to do an research of the stormwater that leads down to Lyviken. The aim with this study was to assess the quality of the contents in the stormwater based on pH, conductivity, phosphorous, nitrogen, bacterias, oil and one sample that meassured the value of several methals. Since the population has increased for decades, the area of hard surfaces and asphalts areas also has increased. This can increase the pollutions that finally ends up in the recipient.

This essay is about power, democracy, solidarity and equality in preschool. I examine three different situations to determine if I could have acted more sensibly in my interactions with the children. I portray: a ?children?s choice meeting? where children select an Activity, a so-called emotional gathering and a dialogue at the lunch table about a popular movie that we plan to watch together afterwards. The purpose of this essay is to examine which norms and values form the basis of my actions, and if so, how these lead me to use my power to shape the children.I have chosen to use hermeneutic and norm-critical perspectives where I investigate and examine my norms and values and how I react and act, both consciously and unconsciously.

The aim of this study was to get insight into refugee children?s perception about experience of the preparatory class, the transition to the ordinary class and the ordinary class. To get access to my informant?s perspective and also to get a more profound understanding of their experience, I oriented the study in a qualitative approach. This study will highlight the refugee children?s personal experiences and their point of view regarding the schools preparatory class, ordinary class, together with other pupils behaviour against them in the social interaction.

Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att belysa hur djur i omvårdnaden för äldre inom särskildaboende påverkar äldres psykosociala välbefinnande. Metod: En systematisk litteraturstudiemed 15 kvantitativa artiklar. Artiklarna söktes i sökmotorn ELIN samt databaserna Cinahl,PubMed och Science Direct. Studier har också erhållits via manuell sökning. Huvudresultat:Studier visade på att djur inom särskilda boenden påverkade äldres psykiska och socialavälbefinnande till det bättre.

The purpose of this study was to see how teachers experience their own leadership style and how they did to get their leadership to work in the classroom. The purpose was also to understand the teachers? actions, what they think is best for the students? development and how they describe the leadership in the classroom. I interviewed six female teachers and they all have had many experiences since this is their profession. My research was based on Stensmo (2000).

Since the breakdown of the Soviet Union, more than fifteen revolutionary yearshave passed. Estonia and Latvia have undergone a change from communist statesto members of the European Union. As in so many other post-communist statescorruption has been a problem. However, Estonia has since the independence hada lower degree of corruption than the neighbour country Latvia. The main purposeof this thesis is to explain why so.

Kronisk hjärtsvikt är en vanligt förekommande sjukdom som för med sig en successiv kroppslig funktionsnedsättning. Ibland är förståelsen i vården liten för den äldre patientens förändrade livssituation då den ofta ses som en del av ett naturligt åldrande. Syftet är att beskriva den äldre patientens upplevelse av att leva med kronisk hjärtsvikt. Studien har genomförts som en litteraturstudie där materialet består av kvalitativa artiklar. Litteratursökningen gjordes i databaserna Academic Search Elite, Cinahl, Medline och Pubmed där sökorden har kombinerats på olika sätt för att få fram relevanta artiklar.

Pharmaceuticals that are found in marine ecosystems are a threatening environmental concern, which is known to harm both animal and plant life. One of the reasons for this problem is that the waste water treatment techniques are not optimized to clear waste water from its pharmaceuticals contain. In this master thesis four Swedish treatment wetlands were studied, and their ability to reduce numerous pharmaceuticals in waste water. The four treatment wetlands that were studied were those in Oxelösund, Trosa, Nynäshamn and Eskilstuna. Two ecotoxicological tests and chemical analysis were used.

This thesis explores the opinion of different participants in the music business regarding music being made available at the public libraries. The aim of the thesis is to answer the following questions; which are the most important issues concerning the distribution of music? How do the informants perceive the public libraries mission and Activity in regard to make recorded music available? Which are the benefits/disadvantages with music being made available at public libraries? Seven qualitative, semi-structured interviews were conducted with representatives from the following organisations; SKAP (The Swedish Society of Popular Music Composers), FST (Society of Swedish Composers), SAMI (Swedish Artists and Musicians Interest Organisation) SMF (The Swedish Society of Musicians), SOM (Swedish Independent Musicproducers), IFPI (International Federation of the Phonographic Industry) and EMI Music Sweden. A study of literature and articles generated nine themes, which constitutes the frame of reference for the thesis. The result shows that several of the informants have not reflected upon the public library as an important actor when it comes to the distribution of music.

Syftet med den här undersökningen är att se hur pedagogerna på förskolorna arbetar med rörelse. Jag tycker att det finns många förskolor som behöver arbeta mer med rörelse och det finns många forskar rön som talar för hur viktigt det är att röra på sig. Samtidigt som rörelsestunderna på förskolan minskar kan vi också i dagens samhälle se hur många barn spenderar många timmar framför surfplattor och datorer. Därför vill jag se hur pedagogerna på olika förskolor tänker kring detta ämne och hur de arbetar med detta område på förskolan.  Vilka tankar har pedagogerna kring rörelsens betydelse för barns utveckling och hur ser planeringen av de strukturerade rörelsestunderna ut.  För att få reda på detta har jag i min studie använt mig av kvalitativa intervjuer för att få så givande svar som möjligt. Jag har intervjuat pedagoger (barnskötare och förskollärare) på sex olika förskolor, tre på landet och tre i staden.   I resultatet av denna undersökning kan vi se att de flesta av de medverkande förskolorna arbetar kontinuerligt med rörelse, vilket innebär att de har en planering med tydliga syften och utvärderar även dessa moment för att se vad man kan göra annorlunda och förbättra.   Att skapa rörelseglädje i förskolan handlar om att ha roligt och leka och lära tillsammans. .

Several industrial scandals, especially those about Enron and WorldCom, have lead to an intense debate about the independent audit and the independent auditor. A substantial part of the auditor?s income originates from counselling, and therefore the role of the auditor may be seen as double, and the auditor?s objectivity may be questioned. In the year of 2002, a new Auditors Act was legislated in Sweden. In the 21 § of the act, a model based on principles was introduced, to test the auditor independence in every single case.

Why should teachers devote themselves to reading aloud? Reading aloud has a given place in most of the Swedish preschools. Many teachers read to children. Research on the subject has shown that it is very rewarding for preschoolers to have stories read to them. They hear how the language is constructed, becomes aware of matter of text, and they are able to take part of how other people live.

Meaningful teaching in physical education ? A study of pupils opinions of the contents and teachers methods to activate and account inactive pupils.Nowadays people in society are getting more and more inactive, and we have during our practice at different schools, noticed that many pupils are uncalled for and inactive at the lessons in physical education. The purpose with the study is to see what pupils in the ninth grade thinks about the contents of the subject and what they want it to contain to make the teaching more meaningful. The study also looks in to different methods that teachers in physical education use to make the lesson feel meaningful for all the pupils and how they work to activate and account inactive pupils. To collect the information we chose to distribute questioners to pupils and do interviews with teachers.
