Kimit AB är ett ledande företag inom den svenska sprängmedelsbranschen och de transporter sina produkter bland annat mellan LKAB:s gruvor i Kiruna, där fabriken ligger, och Malmberget. Dessa transporter faller under lagen (2006:263) om transport av farligt gods, då några av deras produkter klassas som explosiva och några som oxiderande, beroende på produktens innehåll. Fordon som transporterar farligt gods på väg eller järnväg måste vara märkta med dels storetiketter som visar vilken klass godset tillhör och dels en orange skylt som visa godsets unika UN-nummer samt farlighetsnummer. Från farlighetsnumret är det möjligt att utläsa godset farligaste egenskaper som till exempel om godset är giftigt, frätande eller reagerar kraftigt med vatten.Under ett test som Kimit genomförde tillsammans med några andra aktörer kunde de visa på fördelen med att använda aluminiumtankar under transporten av deras produkter. Då aluminiumtanken gav vika under mycket lindrigare förhållanden när den utsattes för kraftig värme än ståltanken som exploderade och skickade bitar av tanken över hundra meter från platsen.

It isimportant to see the whole picture of the transportation flow so improvements can be made.The purpose of this essay is to survey and analyse the truck flow in a Lean Productionperspective. The essay is delimited to only include straddle carriers transportation ways in thePrimary Products division. This essay examines middle school students? understanding of a text read aloud to them in English and the connection between the degree of listening comprehension and the expected increase of vocabulary throughout middle school. The same listening comprehension test was carried out in grades 4, 5 and 6 in a middle school in order to survey differences in English listening comprehension in regard to the ability to reproduce the content of an oral text. The result shows that there was a progression from level to level when it comes to comprehension and the number of words reproduced and that this progression was most noticeable between grades 4 and 5..

This report investigates the possibility of developing a new and improved hip prosthesis. The result were five different materials that could be used for the prosthesis. These five solutions were Silicone Nitrate on Cobolt Chrome, phase stabilized Zirconium Oxide on Cobolt Chrome, Silicone Nitrate on Silicone Nitrate, DLC coated phase stabilized Zirconium Oxide and Chromium nitride coated Cobolt Chrome on Cobolt Chrome. I denna rapport utvärderades olika färdplaneringssystem. Vid val av lämpligt färdplaneringssystem belystes några väsentliga områden. Avsikten var att hitta ett system som kunde hjälpa användaren att utföra sin flygverksamhet på ett kostnadseffektivt sätt och förenkla planeringsarbetet. Rapporten skulle vara en vägledning för bolag som står i begrepp att välja nytt färdplaneringssystem. I urvalsprocessen gjordes en marknadsundersökning för att välja de mest lämpliga systemen till utvärderingen.

Soil properties affect the chemical composition of soil water. When studying transport of chemical substances through a basin, it is therefore important to know from which soil layer the main part of the runoff is generated. The aim of this study is to develop an HBV/PULSE model with merged soil moisture and response routines, which generates good approximations of groundwater levels. It should be possible to extend the model to simulate transport of substances and take into account which soil layer the groundwater level is currently in. The hydrological version of HBV/PULSE is used since there is no need to account for pH or alcalinity at this stage.
