Syftet med denna undersökning är att ta reda på hur lärare i gymnasieskolan arbetar med fiktioner av olika slag och om arbetssätten skiljer sig åt beroende på om undervisningen sker i ett yrkesförberedande program eller ett högskoleförberedande program. Fyra verksamma lärare intervjuades utifrån en halvstrukturerad intervjuguide. Resultatet visar att lärarna har frångått de gamla traditionella arbetssätten där man ofta arbetade i kronologisk ordning och där eleverna fick skriva recensioner. Idag läggs fokus på att hitta teman, koppla fiktioner till samhällets utveckling och elevernas egna liv och erfarenheter samt att analysera fiktioner via gruppdiskussioner alternativt helklassdiskussioner. Filmens roll i skolan har fått högre status och filmens språk har tagit plats i undervisningen.

Examensarbetets huvudsakliga syfte var att ta fram en metodik och en manual för hur tester kan genomföras på ett program som arbetar mot en databas. Manualen innehåller exempel på hur verktyg används, hur data skall tolkas, olika problem som kan uppstå med mera. Med metodikens hjälp skall användaren kunna hitta de delar av programmet som kan förbättras med hänseende på prestanda. Manualen skall vara så pass lättanvänd att den skall kunna användas av någon som inte har alltför djupa kunskaper inom databaser eller mjukvaruutveckling. This paper is written to take a close look at teaching methods used at the Summer Academy (SHS), which is held at Södertörns Högskola in Stockholm. SHS is a subdivision of the institution of teaching education, which annually, during summertime, offers an eight-day program for pupils between 13-15 years of age, from different schools located in socio-economically disadvantaged suburbs of Stockholm. The intention of SHS is to give the participating pupils an insight into higher education, especially that of university. The purpose of the activities, such as field trips, guided tours and corporate visits, is to make pupils aware of their own responsibility for their educational situation through different methods of knowledge transfer, to diversify the means of the education, and to bring awareness to the array of possibilities which they have access to within the Swedish system of tertiary education.The study is based on six deep-interviews, three with pupils and three with student mentors. Together with 131 surveys from the course given during the summer of 2014, and theories of John Dewey on ?Learning-by-doing?, the results show that pupils participation in SHS give them a better understanding for, and knowledge about their own educational responsibility.Another question this paper seeks to address is how significantly the SHS program is changing the pupil?s experience of education in general and their view upon higher education specifically.

This thesis examines political consumerism as a political tool for change. Consumers' attitudes and behaviour towards political consumerism is of special interest. The method used is a questionnaire with 59 participating students. Their answers are analysed both quantitatively and, to a lesser degree, qualitatively. The theoretical framework consists of Fishbein and Ajzen's theory of reasoned action and previously published research of essence.The consumers in this study generally rank corporate social responsibility (CSR) as important.

When migration to a country increases, the integration of the migrants becomes extra important for the host country?s society, economy and culture. In the last decade, Europe has faced several crises, such as the refugee crisis and the covid-19 pandemic, which has affected both migration and integration policy. The challenges that have characterized European society in recent years makes it interesting to study how the measures highlighted by the European Commission to integrate migrants has developed. Therefore, the paper aims to compare the Commission?s action plans for integration published in 2016 and 2020 based on the threat theory and the contact theory to see how both perspectives can contribute to understanding the differences between the years and which theory is best suited to understand the Commission?s current visions of integration.

Denna rapport handlar om arbetet med detaljplaner på ett Samhällsbyggnadskontor. Den försöker svara på två frågor. Hur kan man designa integration av olika applikationer, medier och work practices? Är metoder från Participatory Design (PD), Etnografi och CSCW lämpliga för att utforma en sådan designprocess? I min studie har jag använt mig av dessa metoder för att studera arbetet i sin kontext på kontoret, genom situerade intervjuer och observationer. Jag höll även en designworkshop tillsammans med några medarbetare på kontoret.

This thesis studies private equity firms' implementation of management control systems in their portfolio companies and whether the systems are affected by cross-national differences. A comparative case study examines five different private equity firms to derive if there are any differences between the private equity firms' management control systems in the United States, Europe and China. The empirical observations are categorized according to the framework developed by Merchant (1985) and further developed by Merchant and Van der Stede (2003). Theory on the effect of multinationality on management control systems, also developed by Merchant and Van der Stede (2003), are used to explain possible findings. The applied theory includes the cultural dimensions developed by Hofstede (1984) and Hofstede and Bond (1988).

The project is an investigation ofthe drivers? working environment.Schenker Logistics is one of the world's leading providers of integrated logistics services.Schenker Åkeri AB is a subsidiary to Schenker Logistics and transports 2.4 million tons ofgoods yearly.The project started with a background study to evaluate drivers working environment. Wehave studied goods receptions, the working environment, strain injury and injury mechanisms.Methods used was observations, tests, questionnaire surveys and ergonomic andbiomechanical calculations.One result of the study is a working model, which gives recommendations for the maximumweight a driver should push and pull.

Boulognerskogen is a park in the central of Skövde that have had a health resort, paths for strolling, outdoor-bath, outdoor-sport areas and events. During the 1970:th there was a lack of interest for the park and very few visited it. By a motion from a resident in Skövde wich proposes that a city playground will be build in Boulognerskogen gave me an opportunity to investigate how the potential of the park can be used to create a funny and nice place to visit for children in company with adults. By a program that contains the main goals and design program for a city playground in Boulognerskogen, I wanted to present a proposal that could meet childrens needs to play and to use the conditions of the place to create places to play in, and where children in company with adults could be together. To reach this, I wanted to try different methods that could lead to a proposal that was well supported by children and adults, and wich was possible to use by the local authority in their further actions. The methods that I used was therefor an important part of the work. I have choosen to define the concept "city playground" as a greater playground situated in the center of the town that are suitable for outings and as a meetingplace, with a varation in playground attractions and promote children and adults to be together, aiming at younger children in the ages of 1-10 years in company with adults, but should also give space to activities of other groups.

Syftet med studien var i första hand att studera ungdomars upplevelse av makt över sin framtid direkt efter avslutad gymnasietid. Med en enkätundersökning undersöktes 85 ungdomar i årskurs 3 på gymnasieskolans omvårdnadsprogram, samhälls­vetenskapliga program, tekniska program, handelsprogram och naturvetenskapliga program gällande variablerna personlig attityd, subjektiva normer (socialt tryck) och upplevd kontroll. Ingen skillnad framkom mellan yrkes- eller studieförberedande program i attityd till beteende, däremot framkom skillnader vid jämförelse mellan de olika programmen, eleverna på omvårdnadsprogrammet hade en statistiskt signifikant mer positiv attityd till det egna beteendet jämfört med det naturvetenskapliga programmet. En signifikant skillnad framkom också mellan könen i attityd till beteende och upplevd kontroll där tjejerna värderade dessa variabler högre.Resultatet kan förklaras med att det bland flickor ses som mer acceptabelt att studera medan killarna snarare riskerar att få en låg status om de fokuserar för mycket på skolan. Då det i denna studie framkommer att attityden till det egna beteendet var en bra bit över medelvärdet visar den på att en positiv attityd till att det egna beteendet är viktigt. De subjektiva normerna visade att den sociala pressen inte var så stark hos respondenterna vilket är positivt då det visar att eleverna inte upplever sig styrda av den egna sociala gruppen..

The aim of this study is to investigate which management control mechanisms evolve in companies that receive funding from Venture Capital companies and why the management control systems evolve in the way that they do. A case study was performed on three Swedish high technology companies, that all received funding from Venture Capital companies for the first time in 2006. Merchant?s framework, defining all management control mechanisms as either, results control, action control or personnel control, was used to structure the study. Results show that the companies that received Venture Capital all increased the use of management control mechanisms within results control, action control and personnel control.
