This will be done by presenting WeSC's key values and investigate whether these are portrayed by the representation of the activists in market campaigns and personal interviews.Material/Method: We have conducted a qualititave study where we interviewed three WeActivists of various age and profession. Furthermore we did a semiotic analysis of 10 images from 7 advertising campaigns.Main results: Our results indicate that WeActivists play a significant role in WeSC?s external communication, and thus signifying that they play a major part in creating WeSC's brand identity.

Cats and dogs are often unattended by their owners both indoors and outdoors, and therefore there is always a risk that they will get hurt. In the past, poisoning cases was considered unusual, but nowadays they are considered more common. As a veterinary nurse, it is important to know the common symptoms of poisoning, especially when working with emergency veterinary care. A very essential part of the profession as a veterinary nurse is to inform pet owners about the potentially dangerous substances and how poisonings can be prevented. The purpose of this report was to find out what is written scientifically about some common poisonings in dogs and cats and to present available statistics that covers the number of animals poisoned by various substances in Sweden. Hopefully this essay can also be used as a handbook for professionals in animal health care and to assist in educating pet owners. The report mainly covers groceries found in many homes, often easy accessible.

Background: Earlier research describes patients with blood-bourne pathogens experiences from the healthcare system. Aim: The aim of this study was to describe how registered nurses experience taking care of patients with blood-bourne pathogens. Method: This study had a descriptive design with a qualitative method. Eight interviews where performed and analyzed with manifest content analyze. Three categories ?Comfort in their profession?, ?Support from the organization?and ?Fear of being contaminated?, and five subcategories ?Support from hygiene guidelines?, ? Thoughtfulness?, ?The own responsibility?, ?Feelings of fear and concern?and ?To meet preconceptions?, emerged.

Enligt Statistiska Centralbyrån [SCB] föddes det år 2008 109 301 barn i Sverige. Utöver dessa föddes det cirka 600 barn som dött i livmodern innan förlossning. Intrauterin fosterdöd innebär att barn föds döda efter graviditetsvecka 22. Tidigare forskning belyser vikten av att barnmorskor har ett individuellt synsätt vid mötet med par vid intrauterin fosterdöd. Forskningen åskådliggör även hur föräldrar upplevt det stöd som givits under förlossningen.

Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskors upplevelser av deras första yrkesverksamma år och om utbildningen ger en tillräcklig förberedelse inför yrket. Metod: Åtta nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskor intervjuades om deras upplevelser och innehållet analyserades med hjälp av en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Sju kategorier och 19 subkategorier framkom. Resultat: Studien visar att de nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskorna var förväntansfulla inför sitt nya yrke men kände samtidigt rädsla och oro inför det stora ansvaret och kraven som ställs inom sjuksköterskans profession. Arbetet upplevdes som stressigt och svårt men med hjälp av stöd och gott bemötande från kollegor och arbetsledare kunde arbetet underlättas och sjuksköterskan kunde känna trygghet.

Background: At the turn of the year 2004/2005, IAS 19 replaced Tryggandelagen (TrL) and RR 29 as the accounting standard in Swedish concerns. This introduction was associated with a certain apprehension for the possible changes in the companies? pension liabilities and equity.Purpose: To illustrate the difficulties of the introduction of IAS 19 by observing how it differs from TrL, and what kind of problems these differences can cause.Procedure: Individuals who are well up in, and work with pension liabilities have been interviewed. After this follows an example of the calculated pension liability of a company, to illustrate the differences between the calculations according to TrL and IAS 19. To conclude the chapter, a comparison between a number of companies from the Stockholm stock exchange is made to establish their various actuarial assumptions.Method: The essay mainly follows the qualitative research method, since this method is more appropriate when the substance in the matter is based on detailed differences and opinions.Results and conclusions: The introduction of IAS 19 has taken time and been an expensive matter, although the expenses weren?t as great as feared.

During cold winter days it is likely that people in buildings with older windows or high glass facades experience thermal discomfort due to cold air down draughts. Earlier work has been aimed at finding analytical methods to predict the speed of the airflow in a room and in practice heating appliances are often placed beneath the windows to reduce the draught along the floor. In a study from 2012 Mohammad Parchami developed a method for estimating the required heating power to counteract the downdraught with such heating appliances. In this study, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) was used to evaluate the usefulness of Parchami?s method and also to examine the potential of adapting the depth of the inward window sill as a means of decreasing the down draught.

Syftet med vårt examensarbete var att undersöka hur utredningar och bedömningar genomförs och på vilka grunder beslut om mottagande till grundsärskolan fattas. Antalet elever mottagna i grundsärskolan har under de senaste 10-15 åren ökat, invandringen har ökat och den medicinska forskningen har utvecklats. Detta har medfört att vi har fått nya elevgrupper i grundsärskolan. För att undersöka vårt syfte har vi genomfört intervjuer med rektorer/ särskolesamordnare i tre olika kommuner. Vi har sedan utifrån våra intervjuer jämfört dessa kommuners rutiner med de riktlinjer och rekommendationer som vi funnit.

Accounting has been critized for being one of the leading factors in the latest financial crisis. One of the primary problem areas was identified as delayed recogonition of losses on financial instruments. Consequently, a new impairment model is being developed and is to be namned expected loss model. The difference from the present model, incurred loss model, is that it takes losses into consideration on an much earlier level. Even though the model may be theoretically feasible, in practice it may implicate a number of issues.

Försvarsmakten spenderar årligen stora finansiella medel på diverse reklamkampanjer i syfte att marknadsföra sig samt för att locka nya individer till yrken som Försvarsmakten tillhandahåller. Något som såklart är ett behov vid en yrkesarmé. Syftet med studien har varit att redogöra för vilket budskap Försvarsmaktens reklamkampanjer sänder ut, vad i dessa som förespråkar samt om det finns faktorer som verkar mottsättande för den militära professionen och Försvarsmakten.För att utreda detta har en kvalitativ studie bedrivits genom att tillämpa Norman Faircloughs kritiska diskursanalys kompletterad av bildanalys baserad på semiologi samt teorier om medias påverkan och medieretorik.Studien har resulterat i att Försvarsmaktens reklamkampanjer vill uppmana sin mottagare att ta ställning till de olika situationer som gestaltas samt att försöka ta sig innanför konsumentens personliga sfär. Alla kampanjer kan på olika vis kopplas till Försvarsmaktens värdegrund där konceptet ÖRA - öppenhet, resultat samt ansvar- är centralt. Även kopplingar till visionen vi verkar, syns och respekteras har identifierats.

Abstrakt Bakgrund: Män har arbetat med omvårdnadsrelaterade uppgifter sedan lång tid tillbaka, i mitten på 1800-talet blev uppgifterna en profession. År 1957 blev sjuksköterskan legitimerad, samma år fick män söka utbildningen utan dispens.Syfte: Att belysa den manliga sjuksköterskans genusrelaterade problem i förhållande till patienter och kollegor.Metod: Litteraturöversikten baserades på åtta artiklar, som analyserades med innehållsanalys efter granskning av vetenskaplig kvalité.Resultat: Manliga sjuksköterskor upplever att problem kan uppstå i samband med områdena kommunikation och intim omvårdnad.Diskussion: Då manliga sjuksköterskor befinner sig i en värld där kvinnliga normer sedan lång tid råder är det av stor vikt att kommunikation sker på ett sådant sätt att alla berörda förstår vad som har sagts. Manliga sjuksköterskor upplevde rädsla för att bli anklagade för otillbörliga handlingar i samband med intim omvårdnad, vilket har resulterat olika strategier för att lösa detta.Slutsats: Den manliga sjuksköterskan möts av en värld där kvinnliga normer råder. Utifrån antagandet att män och kvinnor handlar och tänker olika i skilda situationer är det av stor vikt att både manliga och kvinnliga sjuksköterskor är medvetna om detta för att inte patient- och personalsäkerheten skall äventyras..

Varje år befinner sig cirka 95 000 barn på sjukhus i Sverige. För att kunna möta dessa barn på en adekvat nivå samt att kunna vara korrekt i sin profession krävs det att sjuksköterskor besitter stor kunskap och respekt inom sitt område. Barn kan uppleva att de har en minskad kontroll över sin verklighet när de har blivit sjuka och hamnar i en ny miljö. Avsaknaden av kontroll och osäkerhet kan leda till ovisshet samt oförutsägbarhet. Osäkerheten bidrar till en känsla av att mista greppet om situationen barnen befinner sig i.

The aim is to describe and analyze how the branch of real estate works with confidence and codes of conduct.Method:I have an qualitative approach in which interviews have been used to collect data and literature studies to collect theoretical information. The collected material have been analyzed from a hermeneutical perspective.Result & Conclusions:To some extent the real estate branch works with the establishment of Codes of Conduct to strengthen the confidence. This is shown by increased transparency to increase customers commitment in the bidding. This thesis concerns how local governments use the concept sustainable development, and what the concept means. The concept of Agenda 21 and local Agenda 21 will also be discussed in this essay, because it's an instrument for local governments to specify their work towards sustainable development. I have interviewed civil servants in leading positions in the municipalities? work with environmental questions and sustainable development. In the choice of method for this thesis, I use the qualitative method and for the interviews I chose the ?semi structure way of interviewing?.This thesis shows that local governments? implementation of sustainable development and Agenda 21 differ between the municipalities.

Background: ?Transitional care? is a new form of care in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in Sweden. The level of care, between outpatient and inpatient, has been developed to meet children/adolescents and their families in a different way than in the traditional outpatient and inpatient treatment. The contact offered can be intense with frequent contact and also with more time set aside for every occasion. The nurse, who is one of the categories of personnel involved in the multidisciplinary team works largely in other contexts than in the therapy room at the clinic or on the ward.
