I USA väcktes därför frågan om ett införande av revisorsrotation alternativt byrårotation. På grund av bristande erfarenhet inom området ansåg den amerikanska kongressen att beslut om byrårotation inte kunde fattas och således infördes endast revisorsrotation. I samband med detta införande fick U.S Government Accountability Office (GAO) i uppdrag att, genom en kvantitativ studie i form av enkätundersökning, undersöka vilka potentiella effekter ett införande av byrårotation skulle få på de amerikanska publika företagen.  Med utgångspunkt i den av GAO genomförda undersökning utformades denna uppsats för att på liknande sätt undersöka de potentiella effekterna av ett eventuellt införande av obligatorisk byrårotation i Sverige. Uppsatsens syfte bygger på att undersöka hur CFO:n, eller motsvarande befattningshavare, på samtliga företag noterade på Nasdaq OMX Stockholm ser på förslaget om ett införande av obligatorisk byrårotation, samt vilka för- och nackdelarna anses vara.

Introduction: Palliative care is based on an active total care where the patient's independence and participation are included. Few studies have been based on a concept of freedom in relation to this target group.Aim: The aim of this study was to describe the perception the nurse has about "freedom" - its significance and meaning from an existential perspective for patients with palliative care needs.Method: A qualitative content analysis based on a narrated and written down text from focus groups with adequate examples. The starting point in the focus groups was to focus on existential issues in relation to patients near death. Based on the concept of freedom, has the printouts been analyzed, categorized and codedFindings: Nature, identity, integrity and self-esteem are important aspects for our approach to freedom but freedom is also about existential questions where hope, reconciliation, freedom and forgiveness are included.Discussion: Discussion: We all have our own definitions and meanings of freedom. This study focuses on single peoples construction of their lifes in relation to normative heterosexual coupledom. It is based on five interviews made with single women and men at the age of 24 to 51 who live by themselves. The queer theory which puts the heteronormativity in question is used as a theoretical framework. Discourse psychology functions as an analytic approach. It focuses on the use of language in the construction of reality in a world of determinant discourses.

The purpose of this thesis is to explore the situation for ebooksin Swedish public libraries. The background is anincreasing lending of e-books in public libraries, with anacquisition model formed when e-books were more of anexperiment in a few libraries. The debate has escalated in therecent years and in this thesis I aim to investigate thelibraries? experience with e-books and the current pricemodel. The empirical material comes from interviews witheight head of public libraries in the Västra Götaland region.As theoretical background, I have used Michael Buckland?sfour roles of collections and price models from Lee andBoyle.My results show ambivalence with the price model.

The aim of this thesis was to study elderly people?s experiences of and approach to their usage of home care services with tax deduction. The aim was also to describe how elderly people reason about their underlying motives of using home care service with tax deduction. The study is based on six qualitative interviews with people between the ages of 65 and 80, living in Nacka, Sweden. This thesis is a collaboration with Stiftelsen Stockholms la?ns A?ldrecentrum/ Stockholm Gerontology Center and part of their follow up study concerning simplified administration for elderly people applying for home care services in Nacka.

The interest in small-scale electricity in Sweden has increased strongly in recent years. The interest is noticeable both among politicians to increase the share of renewables in the energy mix, and among electricity consumers to partially replace purchased electricity with self-produced. This has resulted in a significant increase of electricity production in low voltage grids in recent years, and the trend appears to continue in the coming years. The majority of the new production plants are solar cells, followed by wind turbines, and it is also in these the greatest efforts are made in this paper.Distributed generation is often seen as something positive since it will contribute to reduced transmission losses and reduced voltage drop in the networks, and that it increases the share of electricity from renewable sources. In cases where the grids are not strong enough, or in other ways not adapted to manage the installed production, power quality may be adversely affected.

Uppsatsens syfte är att öka kunskapen och förståelsen kring CSR som värdeskapande strategi. Vårt angreppsätt utgår från hermeneutiskt forskningsstrategi. Vi gör en kvalitativ fallstudie av beskrivande karaktär genom intervjuer och granskning av offentliga rapporter från IKEA, Telenor och Sveaskog. Enligt induktiv metod utgår undersökningen från vår frågeställning som tillsammans med relevant teori och empiri leder fram till analys och slutsatser.Genom vår undersökning har vi fastställt att CSR är en värdeskapande strategi. Detta baserar vi på resultaten av vår undersökning som bland annat säger 1) att det saknas en gemensam och allmängiltig definition av CSR och företagens ansvarstagande; 2) att begreppen CSR, CR och hållbarhet mer eller mindre är utbytbara; 3) att ett fullständigt ansvarstagande kräver en helhetssyn som innefattar både ekonomiska, sociala, miljömässiga och etiska frågor; 4) att en fullständig integrering av ansvarsarbetet i organisationen såväl som i den dagliga verksamheten är att eftersträva; 5) att bättre möjligheter för företagens fortlevnad är det viktigaste motivet till respondenternas arbete med ansvarsfrågor; 6) att ansvarsarbete är mycket värdefullt för företagen men att inget av dem mäter värdet i ekonomiska termer eller sätter upp finansiella mål för arbetet; 7) att det generella målet med ansvarsarbetet är att bidra till uppfyllande av generella företagsmål; 8) att attitydundersökningar hos viktiga intressentgrupper är det vanligaste sättet att mäta resultatet av ansvarsarbete; 9) att kommunikation är mycket viktigt för att bli framgångsrik i sitt ansvarsarbete; 10) att respondenternas viktigaste intressenter är deras medarbetare, kunder och ägare..

The main aim of this thesis is to examine what motivates people to become entrepreneurs and how they are motivated to continue being it. We have decided to focus on four elements: the driving force of being an entrepreneur, the environment, the individual background and important personal characteristics of the entrepreneur. Qualitative interviews were carried out with six information consultants. The theoretical background has its focus on entrepreneurial motivation. A model of entrepreneurial motivation by Naffziger, Hornsby and Kuratko 1994 is presented.

The purpose of this study has been to examine and analyze school counselors? experience of collaboration with other professions in the student health team and the preconditions for their work. The study is based on qualitative semi-structured interviews with six elementary-, and two high school student counselors in a medium-sized town in Sweden. The theoretical approach being used is: role theory, theory of professions and theory about collaboration. The study´s result shows that the school counselors? experience an unclarity in their job assignments and their role is often described as diffuse and vauge.

This thesis discusses the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility, which means that companies are taking a voluntary accountability towards the society with a view to improve it. Today's stakeholders and people in general have higher demands and expectations on businesses and its products or services than before. This is driving more and more companies to consider questions like voluntary responsibility so that they can maintain public confidence. Confidence towards the banking sector is particularly important to avoid financial crises. Our study focuses on leadership impact on CSR.

The purpose of this thesis is to create a deeper and also a better understanding about how each of the professional secrecy and obligation to report are perceived from auditors and further investigate how the potential conflicts based on independence and ?can be suspect? are handled by the auditors. The purpose has been achieved through interviews with four different accounting firms.The interviews were conducted with Grant Thornton, BDO Mälardalen AB, PwC and KPMG to answer the research questions. Subsequently, a hermeneutic approach was used to since the interpretation of the interviews was considered as important to obtain knowledge of the respondent?s perception about the topic.

The thesis ?Vi fixar och trixar oss fram till att hjälpa människor? focuses on social work in the field of prostitution and human trafficking in Sweden. Through semi-structured interviews with social workers in the municipalities of Stockholm, Göteborg and Malmö working with persons selling and buying sex, and through discourse analysis, the author analyses the perceptions among these social workers of the relation between human rights, prostitution and human trafficking, and the social work which they conduct.The thesis concludes that although the social workers perceive prostitution and human trafficking and social work in this field as human rights related, they are not explicitly using a human rights based approach in their work.The thesis concludes that the social workers identify several aspects that infringe on the rights of their clients in relation to the human rights principles of Universality, Non-discrimination, Accountability and Rule of law and the principle of Participation and Inclusion. They portray the human rights situation of street based sellers, especially those not being Swedish citizens and those affected by human trafficking, as severe.The thesis concludes that the social workers find several obstacles (legal as well as structural) that diminish their ability to strengthen their clients? human rights situation.

A QUALITATIVE STUDY ON THE EXPERIENCE OF ESCORT SERVICE UNDER THE ACT (SFS 1993:387) SUPPORT AND SERVICE FOR THE DISABLED The purpose of this study was to examine the experiences of escort service under the Act (SFS 1993:387) concerning Support and Service for the disabled (LSS) for self-determination, participation and equality of living conditions. In the results of this study appears that the escort service fulfills its role in breaking the isolation of persons with disabilities. It gives a picture of the escort service is much more than to break the isolation of people with disabilities. The aspects that emerges is that escort service gives persons with disabilities the opportunity to develop their independence, increase their self-esteem and broaden their frames of reference through increased participation in community life. All users report that they experience autonomy in the choice and order of activities within their grant initiatives.
