This thesis deals with the legislative problem of thin and thick capitalization of subsidiary companies situated Abroad. This kind of companies are often used for tax planning purposes, as means for transferring company profit from a high tax state to a low tax state. Today, the legislative flora around the world mainly focuses on the question"how low/high can the capitalization level of the company be, before thin/thick capitalization can be considered to be at hand?". Instead, this thesis raises the question"how far from the optimal capitalization rate is a probable capitalization level for a company, and can this be an alternative approach to legislation?".

SWEWOSÉ S main task will be designated to produce electronic warfare libraries for electronic warfare systems within the armed forces. The unit shall have capability to support with libraries in any state of conflict situation even if the supported unit with library needs conducting operations Abroad.This essay examines the requirements that justify the establishment of a new unit in times when the armed forces conducting reorganizations and cutbacks in both economy and personnel.The possibilities to buy complete system solutions from an external supplier are examined. But also what kind of library support model that is to prefer according to the demands that the Swedish Armed Forces desired, in terms of capability in platform protection and battle space awareness.The results show that the demands that the Swedish Armed Forces has decided, best will be ful-filled and justified by a national electronic warfare unit, with library production as a main task..

This master thesis is looking into the stories on the internet forum www.resedagboken.se. The stories of Swedish teenaged exchange students in the U.S. are studied and the main purpose is to see both what they are writing about and the reason for why they are spending their time writing down their experiences in a public forum.Even though most of the teenagers here are writing with a specific audience in mind, all the stories are free to anyone to take part of and this causes a difficult position for the teenagers who often seem to forget the public point of view when they are telling about their personal lives.The study is divided into two parts. The first one looks into the content of the stories and the other one focuses on the storytellers and their reasons for writing. The teenagers are writing both a lot about their everyday lives in their new environment, but also a lot of things to keep in touch with what their friends and family in Sweden are doing.

Hot och risker : Hot och risker officerare upplever under utlandstjänstgöring

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka vilka hot och risker svenska officerare upplever underutlandstjänstgöring. Detta för att kanske i framtiden kunna förhindra att officerare drabbas avPTSD(Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), eftersom en ökning av dessa fall på senare tid har noterats.Metoden som har använts är kvalitativ intervjustudie där författaren går på djupet för att skapa sig enförståelse för den intervjuades värld. Med inriktning av upplevelser kommer uppsatsen att behandlafysiska och psykiska upplevelser under utlandstjänstgöring samt om dessa hade kunnat förebyggas.Deltagarna i intervjustudien är fyra officerare, samtliga män, med varierande bakgrund och samtligaarbetade vid intervjutillfället inom Försvarsmakten.Resultaten av denna studie och tidigare forskning är att upplevelser av Svenskars hot och risker, kanriskera att leda till PTSD. Resultaten visade också att upplevelser är skiftande och individuella menäven att det finns likheter i upplevelserna om utlandstjänstgöringen har genomförts på sammageografiska plats. PTSD kan förhindras genom kunskap i hur stress motverkas och förhindras..

Inverkan på identiteten i en global värld - Hur påverkas svenska diplomater av sitt yrke?

How is the identity of Swedish diplomats affected by living a very international life, regularly moving from one place to another, while their main task is to represent Sweden at all times? How does the national identity relate to the professional and the international identity and what role does the context play in this process? These are the questions asked in this thesis. By interviewing 39 Swedish diplomats and by comparing the responses of the interviews and the theories applied, this thesis will show that it is the context, rather than the time spent Abroad that changes their identities and not the least their perspectives of the world. The theories concern intersectional identities, nationalism, context and globalisation. It is from the point of view that identities are constructed and therefore changeable.The diplomats gain a greater awareness of their Swedish identity, wider and deeper perspectives of what it means to be Swedish, but also the advantages that other cultures have to offer.
