The text shows an attempt to create meaning beyond the conventional system of linguistic signs, beyond the tradition of literature.The focus in the essay is the self; the self is the basic structure and the theme of the text. Crisis shows it?s self-assuredness and points out a dialogue with the nietzschean philosophy. Nietzsche claims that the truth is a rhetorical creation, something which the language produces in the will of power.

This thesis aims to provide Arvika with a deeper insight into what their new residents think about the information they receive. Anyone moving to Arvika gets the magazine ?Nyinflyttad/Recently moved in" sent home. The year 2011 Arvika had 1017 new residents, and they all got the same version of the magazine "Nyinflyttad/Recently moved in." A simpler version of the magazine hasn?t been made, although the municipality is aware that it is needed.The aim of my thesis is to see if the information that Arvika is sending to its new residents in meeting their information needs. To get the answer on this question, I have examined data from the target group perspective.

The initial interest was to use literary text to address the visitor in the exhibition space. The purpose was to make man aware of its relation to others and narrative objects. The purpose of this work is to highlight the importence of teacher´s view on matematics and how matematics can be visible for the children when they are in a preschool age. Im trying to promote the importance of mathematics wich characterizes much of our society. Highlighting todays nursay?s and the fact that there is plenty of good enviroments for the learning of mathematics.

This study discusses and examines the alternative teaching materials in religion class amongst seven teachers in Stockholm region. As religion is a complex subject to both learn and to teach it may be beneficial to use alternative texts to show the diversity of the subject. The aim of this study was to examine why teachers use news articles and other articles from daily magazines in their religion class. I also examined how the teachers motivated their choices of teaching materials. The study is qualitative and the empirical work was done by interviewing seven teachers in religion.

En läsbarhetsalgoritm utvärderar en text och ger den ett numeriskt värde som anses återspegla hur lättläst textenär. Syftet med denna kandidatexamensuppsats är att utifrån en diskussion om läsbarhetsbegreppet och läsbarhetsalgoritmen LIX (läsbarhetsindex) ta fram alternativa läsbarhetsalgoritmer,för att därefter utvärdera om dessa kan bedöma läsbarhet bättre än LIX. Utvärderingen sker med hjälp av texter ur två grupper,för varje text i den ena gruppen finns en motsvarande text i den andra med ett liknande innehåll och komplexitet men med en språkmässig skillnad. Materialet som kategoriserats som mer lättläst består av texter som belönats medden så kallade Klarspråkskristallen som årligen delas ut till statliga organ, exempelvis Riksbanken, som gjort framstående insatser för att göra sina publikationer mer lättlästa.Gruppen med texter som kategoriserats som mer svårlästa består av motsvarande publikationer ifrån dessa organ från åren innan de tilldelats Klarspråkskristallen.Resultatet av vårt arbete visade att alla algoritmer i testet kunde bedöma vilken av texterna som var mer lättläst i majoriteten av fallen. I ett teckenrangtest med signifikansnivån 5 % gick det dock inte att förkasta hypotesenatt algoritmerna inte kunde avgöra skillnaden mellan texterfrån de två grupperna.

The purpose of this thesisis to examine the female body ideal of the Swedish fitness blogs and how it is reproduced. To answer the research question five of the most read female fitness blogs were chosen for a critical discourse analysis. The results show that pictures is an important communication event. The ideal is reproduced by representing bodies with desirable attributes in environments and poses that communicates positive feelings. There is a dialectic relation between picture and text in each published post.

Uppsatsen diskuterar Platons och Derridas textkritik mot bakgrund av Paul Grices meningsteori. Vad innebär författarens död, hans frånvaro, för möjligheten att förstå text? Hur skall kontextens betydelse förstås i förhållande till Grices höga krav på intentionalitet och hur skall Platons rika textproduktion förklars mot bakgrund av Sokrates stränga kritik av det skrivna ordet? Uppsatsen mynnar ut i tanken att förståelsen av en text, signifikanstillskriften, naturligtvis kan peka i vilken riktning som helst, det Derrida kallar textens lösdriveri, men det behöver inte vara så, det är inte nödvändigt att det är så och om man accepterar Grice teori om mening, med dess höga grad av intentionalitet, kan det inte vara så. This thesis describes the planning and development of a volume meter of pine and spruce cones. The product was designed and developed for Stigsjö Skog och Frö AB in Härnösand. It was developed taking into account a number of requirements set by the supervisor David Zetterlund. The main requirements were that the volume measurement would be fast and give accurate results. These are two requirements that are missing in today's volume measuring method which is very problematic for the company.The plant was visited several times in Härnösand, mainly to discuss the generated concepts with the supervisor and perform tests on the prototype.

Elgitarrskolan är ett försök att skapa en webbsida med inslag av interaktivitet. Sidan är tänkt att fungera som en lärande miljö där besökaren ska lära sig att spela elgitarr, eller att vidareutveckla ditt spelande. Förutom själva spelandet ska sidan också ge gästen information om elgitarren och kringutrustning, med en del tekniska specifikationer, historik m.m. Elgitarrskolan är ett försök att sprida specifik kunskap genom att integrera flera olika medier till en fungerande enhet. Med hjälp av text, grafik, animationer, ljud, video och interaktiva element har jag försökt att göra informationen så lättillgänglig som möjligt och samtidigt intressant.

This essay examines how the author of 1 Peter exhorted Christ-believing slaves and wives in 1 Pet 2:18-3:6, a passage that invites questions about submission, questions that, in contemporary contexts, are oftentimes controversial. The essay also calls attention to the advantages and the complexities of understanding 2:18-3:6 relative to ancient Roman familial and hierarchical structures. A close exegetical analysis of the passage points out a variety of scholarly viewpoints on ?Peter?s? admonitions to slaves and wives. Following the exegetical analysis, attention is given to feminist hermeneutics and to potential uses of this biblical text in contemporary contexts.

Syftet med mitt examensarbete var att belysa elevers uppfattningar av lärande i litteratursamtal. Genom att synliggöra lärandet ville jag fördjupa förståelsen för litteratursamtalets roll i utvecklingen av elevers läsförmåga. Jag valde en fenomenografisk forskningsansats vilket gav vissa förutbestämda val av metoder. Datainsamlingen bestod av 13 ostrukturerade, kvalitativa intervjuer med elever i skolår 1. Eleverna valdes ut på grund av sin tidigare erfarenhet av litteratursamtal.

The intention of this essay is to inquire into the (re-)constitution of gendered/sexed identities in a gothicistic discourse. The used material is the work Atlantica, chapter 5, vol. 2, written by the Swedish historian/Medical professor Olof Rudbeck. I have chosen this chapter for its description of mythological characters relationship with the earth, the sun and the moon. A description based on a concept of strength and reproduction as gendered characteristics.

Health and fitness are two controversial and not easily defined topics that affect people in our modern society every day. We believe that we can find a link between individualism, globalization and the stress concerning weight and appearance ideals. Our bodies have turned into a popular subject for the media, and there is no indication that the interest will decline. As the world gets more artificial, "natural" ideals are getting more attention, such as the concept of a strong and healthy body. But there is also a downside, for example with health issues such as cardiovascular disease increasing following the birth of high-fat diets.

Current technology offers many possibilities for remotecommunication. Nevertheless, people with cognitive and communicativedisabilities have limited access to common communication technology like textmessaging via a mobile phone. This study is part of the project Text messagingwith picture symbols - a possibility for AAC users and people with cognitiveimpairments. Semi structured interviews were used to investigate three menand four women?s experiences of using Windows mobiles with adaptedfunctions for text messaging.
