This essay is about two Swedish folk musicians, Anders Rosén and Leif Stinnerbom, who have been playing two important rolls in the developing process of Swedish folk music, on their separate ways. The main part of this work is focused on the era called ?The Folk Music Vogue?, which was the era when my informants were in the limelight on the Swedish fiddler scene of the 70s.Our music culture is constantly lying under the change of progress and I find it interesting to reflect how these kinds of changes are affecting the role of the musician.In this essay I am reflecting on the different perspectives of the musicianship according to my informants and how they both are referring to their role as musicians. The purpose is further on to see how they have been relating to the change of progress on the field of the Swedish folk music during the 70s and up to this date. Throughout interviews with the informants I am analyzing their personal relationship to their life as folk musicians.

This thesis is about developing a design that provides improved vacuum seal between a lead coating and a plastic coating during plastic extrusion processes of cables. This report is a part of the course MSGC 17 for Bachelor Engineers in mechanical engineering.The work is performed at Nexans Norway AS in Halden where they have a production of high voltage cables for sea-, and offshore industry. A problem they face is that they do not get enough good seal at the attachment to the plastic extrusion machine. They want to achieve a vacuum between a lead coating on the cable and a plastic coating of the cable for plastic extrusion, which is something they do not achieve today. The thesis is thus to come up with a design that provides better sealing against the cable.The work involves a construction part with the phases of product development processes.

Efter år av ökade sjukskrivningstal inom svenskt arbetsliv syntes under åren 2002-2004 en minskning av långtidssjukskrivningarna. Denna minskning var dock marginell vad gäller kvinnodominerade yrkesgrupper som exempelvis lokalvårdare. (AFA Försäkring, 2006) Vi ville undersöka en organisation, med denna typ av yrkesgrupp, som lyckats sänka sina sjuktal. Vår förhoppning var att finna de hälsobringande påverkansfaktorer som lett till lägre sjukskrivningstal och presentera dessa som underlag för andra organisationers hälsoarbete. Syftet med vår studie är att beskriva Telge Rent AB och deras arbete med att minska medarbetarnas sjukfrånvaro och öka effektiviteten.

During the last year?s Swedish agriculture have had difficult times, with decreasing prices and at the same time increasing production costs, which has led to bad profitability and faith in the future. The dairies in Sweden have also had a rough time and there have been large rationalizations during the years. In the beginning of the 20th century there were almost 1700 diaries in the Swedish countryside. There has been a large technical development during the 20th century resulting in a decrease in diaries to only 46 in the whole country today. They are owned by 15 diary companies, of which 7 large and dominate on the market and the rest are small-scale companies. With this development the confidence and feeling for the diary companies also has decreased.

Denna studie avser att undersöka hur bankerna arbetar och hur långt de har kommit med att ta in hållbarhetsaspekter.Vår fråga om hur hållbarhet beaktas är en omfattande fråga som kan innefatta en mängd olika delfrågor.

På senare år har man i dags- och fackpress kunnat läsa om att den yngre generationen som äntrar arbetsmarknaden är ovilliga att ta chefsjobb. Unga människor födda mellan slutet av 70- och 90-talet har helt andra värderingar än äldre som värdesatte hårt arbete, sparande och trygghet i livet.Generation Y, som den unga generationen har kommit att kallas, uppskattar fritid och frihet allt högre. According to the EEG-councils regulation nr 2092/91, all seed used in organic production must have organic origin. All seed which is offered for sale must be controlled by KRAV, and also comply with the rules of the seedlegislation. The seedlegislation contains demands respecting origin, quality, growingconditions and freedom from deseases. In this piece of work I will investigate the profitability of organic potatoseedproduction, and also what it takes to produce potatoseed. The workmethod has been to, with help from counsellors and growers, make some compareable calculations for foodpotatoes and seedpotatoes, and also with help from a literaturestudy investigate which requires an organic seedcultivation must fulfil. In this piece of work I found out that the organic potatoseedproduction still is to insecure to be profitable. The attack of potatoleafmould, which is out of control, cause unequal yields and this will bring that the new EU-rules, concerning organic seed, not seems defendable yet..

Arbetet utg?r ifr?n en inspelad soloimprovisation som sedan transkriberas och ligger till grunden f?r tv? olika kompositioner med tv? olika kompositionstekniker, de analyseras och j?mf?rs. Syftet med arbetet ?r att f?rs?ka finna s?tt att komponera med mer intuition och mindre baserat p? ett musikteoretiskt korrekt s?tt.

Projektet Precious utforskar narrativa lagningar av artefakter. I arbetet diskuteras människans komplexa förhållande till artefakter. Komplexiteten som behandlas i arbetet är fokuserad kring att artefakter förutom rent praktiska funktioner; även fungerar som verktyg i den sociala interaktionen människor emellan. Industrialism i kombination med bland annat den fria marknadsekonomin har särskilt efter Andra Världskriget bringat välfärd och accelererande konsumtionstempo i det moderna västsamhället. Konsumtionsvanorna är numera mer sammanlänkade med varumärken och social status än behovet av praktisk funktion.

Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att via kvalitativa intervjuer komma fram till vad det är som driver personer som jobbar inom traditionella hantverksyrken till att gå till jobbet.Det empiriska material som ligger till grund för denna undersökning bygger på 6kvalitativa halvstrukturerade intervjuer av hantverkare och 2 kvalitativa intervjuer medtjänstemän som tidigare i sitt yrkesverksamma liv har arbetat med samma yrken som deövriga 6 intervjupersonerna..

This report covers the conceptual design of a new one person hybrid vehicle that is to be fast and convenient to drive on the roads. The vehicle is most of all supposed to be used as a commute vehicle but can also be used at other occasions as well.During the work with this project the group has focused on three larger areas, the outer design (body), wheel chassis and an ergonomically designed interior. The group was not able to just create these parts in 3D to get a trustworthy vehicle, hence number of other components and details were also created to get a better entirety.The outer design starts with idea generation and sketches and ends with a 3D model which is rendered to show how the final product is going to look. The design of the body has been going on during the entire work process due to new ideas and improvements that seemed interesting and had to be changed.The wheel chassis also started with idea generation, research and sketches. It ended up with a simulated 3D model which later on was mounted on the vehicle body to show how the vehicle is going to perform during usage.

Festulolium (Festulolium) and tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea) has not been grown inSweden over a longer period. So far there is no greater area cultivated, but the area isincreasing. Festulolium and tall fescue are expected to eventually replace meadowfescue in many leyseed mixtures to dairy cows in southern and central Sweden. Tallfescue has in recent years become popular again. Festulolium is a hybrid betweenryegrass and fescue.

Nynas produces bitumen at two refineries in Sweden. The bitumen is shipped to seven depots along the swedish coast line, and from the depots special trucks handle the transportation to customers. Recently Nynas has transformed its supply chain and closed down a few depots. At the moment the company is considering a further reduction of the number of depots. In connection to these discussions an analyse of the companys distributionsystem and of possible changes is required.
