The objective of this thesis was to develop a method for the planning of road upgrading at Holmen Skog, a Swedish forest company. A critical issue for creating such plans is to identify roads that are suitable to upgrade to a standard that can handle heavy traffic during spring thaw, since spring thaw is a bottle neck for transporting timber. The method was tested in a case study at a district. The work consisted of two parts. The first was to retrieve and prepare geographical data for the roads.

Sverige har som mål att år 2020 reducera energianvändningen för bostadssektorn med 20 procent och med 50 procent till år 2050. För att målen ska uppnås fordras fler energisnåla nybyggnationer och energieffektivisering på ombyggnationer.Av alla nybyggnationer som har produceras i Sverige är mindre än 1 procent energisnåla nybyggnationer. Studier visar att en av orsakerna till den låga marknadsutvecklingen för lågenergihus beror på att lågenergihus är generellt mellan 2 till 10 procent dyrare än traditionellt byggda hus. Andra orsaker är att många byggherrar inte känner till fördelarna att bygga energieffektivt. Det har även visat sig att byggherrar har för lite kunskaper om energieffektivisering och saknar förmågan att tänka långsiktigt vilket har bidragit att många byggherrar inriktar sig på kortsiktiga ekonomiska resultat istället för hela byggnadens livscykel.Syftet med den här rapporten var att beräkna merkostnaden och livscykelvinsten för nyproduktion av minienergihus och passivhus.

Projektet gick ut på att göra en undersökning för att ta reda på hur en bra app är uppbyggd och vad folk är intresserade av för funktioner i en träningsapp. Denna undersökning skulle sedan leda fram till en app som hjälper användaren att motivera sig själv till att träna. För att programmera appar till Apples telefoner använder man sig av kodspråket Objective-C i programmeringsplattformen Xcode. Resultatet av undersökningen visade att användarvänlighet och enkel design var viktigast för uppbyggnaden av en app. Gällande intressanta funktioner för en träningsapp var statistikförande av träningen, exempel på övningar samt påminnelser om träning populära.

A lot of houses built during the Million Homes Programme are in need of major renovation. Today?s technology and materials are better than in the 60?s and 70?s. Both Swedish government and the European Union have set climate goals regarding energy consumption by 2020 and 2050. Achieving these goals would require better standards in buildings than the Building regulations demands, such as Umeå municipality?s construction requirements for new buildings.The report aims to investigate if a renovation of apartment buildings from the Million Homes Programme can reach Umeå municipality?s construction requirements.

EU-kommissionen har beslutat att Europas byggnadsbestånds energianvändning ska minimeras. Varje medlemsland har fått i uppdrag att definiera ett nationellt gränsvärde för vad som ska kallas för nära-nollenergibyggnader och gränsvärdessättningen skall vara klar år 2020. Myndigheterna Boverket och Energimyndigheten samt andra involverade aktörer är inte överens om vilken gränssättning som ska gälla för Sverige. Syftet för studien var därmed att undersöka vad dessa motsättningar beror på. Genom ett kvalitativt tillvägagångssätt, där offentliga handlingar kring beslutsprocessen studerades, identifierades de involverade aktörer och deras egenskaper genom en nätverksteoretisk grund.

This project is a collaboration with Ett Klick för Skogen, a foundation that buys and preserves endangered forests in Sweden. There are several ways of helping the foundation, e.g. buy a tree and for this the buyer obtains a symbolic diploma. Many organisations uses this method to collect money and for me the lack of a thorough expressions are consistent. The objective with this project has been to renew these diplomas for Ett Klick för Skogen and in the long run increase the collections and preservation of endangered forests in Sweden.The idea has been to vivify hardwood trees in a new and rather poetic than pedagogic manner.

The objective of this thesis is to clarify what should be applied in terms of liability and the allocation of risks between the parties, in order to help avoid disputes about the agreement. In order to fulfill the purpose of the thesis, the legal status of the agreement has been investigated, as well as the question whether the sale of goods act should be applied, even though the sales agreement between the parties should be the primary regulation. Furthermore, another question that has been investigated is whether the buyer?s duty to investigate, and the seller?s duty to inform, affects the allocation of risks between the parties, and thereby also their liability..

The aim of this essay is to investigate how the leadership of five female film producers is being constituted in the film industry, an industry which is both close to the pool art and the pool commerce at the same time at it is male dominant.
