In a Swedish classroom today there will be students with different ethnicities, world views and religious beliefs.  The students will be taught religion through a non-denominational education, where as a teacher you are meant to be objective, open-minded and fair in the representation of different traditions. This representation is colored by the outsider-perspective and the students then learn about religion from a party which is not involved in the religion being taught. This essay discusses how to balance the outsider-perspective in religious education in the Swedish school with insider-voices. More specific, the use of Muslim websites when teaching about Islam.The material this essay studies are three Muslim websites: al-islam.se, islaminfo.se and islamguiden.se. In order to make a didactic analysis of the websites, they are compared to a standard Swedish textbook.

Det har skett ovanligt många arenabyggen i Sverige under den senaste tioårsperioden då kraven från elitklubbarna blivit allt högre på arenornas utformning, standard och säkerhet. Då det byggts arenor i olika storlekar över hela Sverige är det ett intressant ämne att titta närmare på hur finansieringen ser ut bakom arenabyggena och vilka det är som investerar i arenor.Vår uppsats har valt att fokusera på två aktuella projekt i Stockholmsområdet, Swedbank Arena i Solna och Stockholmsarenan vid Globen. Uppsatsen behandlar frågorna kring vilka intressen och roller som de olika aktörer har vid arenabyggen och hur de påverkar finansieringen. Frågan besvaras med hjälp av tillgänglig information om projekten samt med hjälp av genomförda intervjuer med aktörer som är inblandade i projekten.Efter utförda intervjuer och analys av dessa kom vi fram till att det främst finns två olika typer av roller som aktörerna har i arenaprojekten och att deras roller påverkar finansieringen på olika sätt. De två olika rollerna består av dels en mer långsiktig roll som inte enbart går in i projektet av ekonomiska skäl, och dels en roll som förvisso kan se långsiktigt på projektet, men som även ser mer till det ekonomiska resultatet.

The purpose of this study was to examine the differences between non-audited and audited sustainability reports and in that way indicate the significance of auditing to the contents of a sustainability report. The study was delimited to include three companies that create sustainability reports according to GRI guidelines, and also have changed from non-audited to audited reports.The study is an exploratory study where we started from companies that follow GRI's standard and who have changed from being non-assured to assured and certified. In order to examine any differences we have started out from corporate sustainability reports and with the basis of these latter gather those changes which may have occurred during the changeover. We therefore chose to conduct a literature review on each company's non-audited sustainability reports and compare them with each company's audited and certified sustainability reports. Furthermore our study has been made on the basis of an assessment model based on the concepts of materiality, completeness and comparability.The study showed that the audited sustainability reports in all companies were more focused and more detailed about the aspects GRI established for the performance indicators.

Romanization as a method in the bibliographic environment makes retrieval difficult in many aspects. The object of this thesis is to illustrate the importance and the possibility to include non-Roman script in the records of the library catalogue. The questions at issue are about the consequences of romanization, the technical requirements for implementing non-Roman script, and bibliographical resources that have been developed during the last 20 years. The thesis is based on a literature study and correspondence with people who are familiar with the subject. The thesis points out that Romanization causes information to be distorted in various ways and is inconsistent with the requirements of exactitude in bibliographic control.

Bygg- och anläggningsbranschen betraktas som konservativ och trögutvecklad då liknande arbetsmetoder har använts sedan branschens begynnelse. Det borde finnas arbetsmetoder som är mer effektiva i förhållande till teknikutvecklingens expandering. En ny, men idag relativt oetablerad, arbetsmetod möjliggör att information integreras och samordnas i en interaktiv 3D-modell genom en hel byggprocess ? byggnadsinformationsmodellering (BIM).Denna studie har i syfte att för anläggningsbranschen belysa för- och nackdelarna med BIM som arbetsmetod, samt redogöra vilka hinder som finns och vilka åtgärder som krävs för en bredare implementering.Genom en fallstudie utvärderas detta via kvalitativa intervjuer med representanter för byggprocessens olika skeden. Intervjuerna grundar sig på en uppsättning av utvärderande frågor samt en konstruerad BIM-modell över ett verkligt anläggningsprojekt.Slutsatser som har dragits av studien är att utifrån de nuvarande arbetsmetoderna indikeras ett behov för effektivisering av samförståelse i projekt.

Syfte: Syftet med denna undersökning var att mäta ackommodationsamplitud i Nicaragua och Sverige för att se om det är någon signifikant skillnad mellan länderna i åldersgrupperna mellan 8 år och 40 år. Värdena som togs fram jämfördes sedan med publicerad litteratur för att undersöka hur denna studies värde skiljer sig från dessa, samt vilken av de tidigare studierna som var mest lik denna studies framtagna värde på ackommodationsamplitud i förhållande till åldern.Metod: Mätningarna skedde på 113 personer i Nicaragua och 113 personer i Sverige. För att vara med i denna studie krävdes det att försökspersonerna översteg 8 år och understeg 40 år. Mätningarna genomfördes med push-up metoden med hjälp av en mätsticka med figuroptotyp i form av en fågel.Resultat: Av de mätningar som genomfördes blev genomsnittet av ackommodationsamplitud 10,3 D (strandard avvikelse ±9,7 D) i Nicaragua och 11,5 D (standard avvikelse ±6,5 D) i Sverige. Ingen signifikant skillnad finns mellan länderna, det vill säga land (Nicaragua eller Sverige) har ingen påverkan på ackommodations amplitud enligt denna studie.

Testning är en viktig process vid tillverkning av alla typer av system. Traditionellt har testning utförts föratt verifiera att ett system fungerar på ett korrekt sätt. Vid tillverkning och testning av kryptomodulerräcker det dock inte med att verifiera att systemet fungerar korrekt utan testerna måste även visa attsystemet är tillräckligt säkert d.v.s. att det uppfyller de säkerhetskrav som användare och utvecklare ställerpå systemet.I de flesta fall är det dock inte möjligt att bevisa att ett system är säkert och felfritt då det ofta finnsoändligt många attackmöjligheter och oändligt många insignalskombinationer (testfall). För att visa att ettsystem med så stor sannolikhet som möjligt är säkert och felfritt krävs att testaren kan välja lämpligatestingsmetoder och vettiga delmängder av testfall att utföra.

Objective: In recent years there has been an increasing interest within the clinical (medical) science in measuring people?s health. When estimating quality of life, present practise is to use the EQ-5D questionnaire and an index which weighs the different questions. The question is what happens if the individuals estimate there own health, would it differ from the public preferences? The aim is to make a new prediction model based on the opinion of patients and compare it to the present model based on public preferences.Method: A sample of 362 patients with unstable coronary artery disease from the Frisc II trial, valued their quality of life in the acute phase and after 3, 6 and 12 months.

With the advance in computer and network technologies, multimedia systems and Internet applications are becoming more popular. As broadband network is prevailing, more clients are able to watch streaming videos or to play multimedia data over the Internet in real-time. Consequently, there is an increasing demand in the Internet for streaming video systems. As the run-time environment of such applications tends to be dynamic, it is imperative to handle transient overloads effectively. The goal of this work is to develop an algorithm that would provide a robust and controlled behavior of the video system so that important data is delivered on time to the video clients.

In this essay we discuss how the decentralisation of the Swedish school system affects the concept of ?equal opportunity school?. We investigate the development from both a historical and contemporary perspective, in order to identify changes over time. The central question of the essay is how the decentralisation of the school system affects the teacher?s perspective and experiences of the government?s framework about ?equal opportunity school?? The analysis is based on four qualitative, semi structured, direct interviews with respondents both active in municipal schools situated in the Malmö council and with more than thirty years of experience in their profession. Our analysis of the interviews show that both respondents experience the overall situation in the schools has deteriorated from an equal opportunity aspect since the decentralisation of the school system.

Examensarbetet inriktade sig på att utifrån ett antal definierade problemställningar somframkommit under projektarbetet, finna lösningar och förslag på hur Saab skall lyckas medatt utföra sampassnings analys i processutrustningen. De problem som definierades underprojektarbetet var bland annat att finna mätutrustning som är bättre lämpad att utföramätningar i processutrustningen än en Faro arm och att titta på konstruktionsförbättringarsom kan underlätta och snabba upp mätningen av processutrustningen och att med detförslag på mätutrustning och föreslagna konstruktionslösningar analysera om deergonomiska förutsättningarna blivit bättre. När det gäller mätutrustningen så är LeicaAbsolute Tracker AT901 ett mätsystem som skulle fungera alldeles utmärkt, dettamätsystem skulle lösa åtkomsten för mätning av stöd och styrningar på ett ergonomisktsätt. Mätsystemet klarar de uppsatta kraven i grundkravspecifikationen och har denmätnoggrannhet som efterfrågas. klarar en tuff arbetsmiljö att mäta i, är portabel i detavseendet att den är tillräckligt lätt att hantera och har en idrifttagnings tid som också ärenligt uppsatta krav i grundkravspecifikationen.

Gestamp Hardtech är världsledande inom presshärdningsteknik och producerar karossdetaljer till bilindustrin. På företagets anläggning i Luleå finns avdelningen för verktygskonstruktion och här tar man idag fram presshärdningsverktygen. Konstruktionsmiljön på avdelningen för verktygskonstruktion består idag av CAD-systemen CATIA v5 och I-DEAS 12. Eftersom I-DEAS 12 inte längre utvecklas av tillverkaren, så kommer avdelningen i framtiden gå över till CAD-systemet NX. I och med denna övergång kommer företaget också att implementera PLM-programmet Teamcenter.

The purpose of this master thesis is to examine how Dublin Core corresponds to the findings in the IFLA report Functional requirements for bibliographic records FRBR, and what consequences this correspondence has on the usability of Dublin Core as a bibliographic standard. While the study describes the conceptual model of FRBR and the entities work, expression, manifestation and item, its main focus is the mapping of attributes and relationships to the user tasks defined, namely to find, identify, select and obtain entities. The study makes a comparison between data that FRBR rates as highly important for any user task, and the elements defined in DCMI Metadata Terms. The outcome of the comparison is then analyzed as to how it affects Dublin Core's possibilities to assist in the different user tasks, and common problems are discussed. The results show that problems in expressing attributes and relationships through Dublin Core elements concern all of the four user tasks.

Meticillinresistenta Staphylococcus aureus är ett växande problem inom hästmedicinen och orsakar svårbehandlade infektioner världen över. Resistensen utvecklas genom att stafylokocker erhåller en gen, mecA, som ändrar ?-laktamantibiotikas målstruktur. Idag är MRSA-utbrott vanligt i många länder, men hittills har vi i Sverige inte konstaterat mer än 20 fall på häst. Risken för att fler fall kommer att upptäckas i framtiden är dock stor på grund av import av hästar och smittspridning via människor. Ett oerhört viktigt moment vid misstanke om MRSA-infektion är var man ska provta och hur man bör odla, typa och namnge de olika isolaten.

The Library of Uppsala University has decided to change their classification system from the Swedish SAB system to the American Dewey Decimal Classification. One of the main reasons for this decison was that Kungliga biblioteket also has made an exchange between these systems. Due to that, the national bibliography of Sweden classifies Swedish documents according to Dewey Decimal Classification and the SAB system is no longer maintained. A transition to Dewey Decimal Classification will enable Swedish librarians to import foreign catalouge posts and classification codes and will provide them with a common standard between their libraries and other libraries due to the use of the same international classification system. It is disputed whether the Dewey Decimal Classification is equally suitable for all subjects.
