This thesis analyzes the media debates generated by the election of Omar Mustafa to the board of the social democratic party, and the appointment of the conservative Minister of Labour, Elisabeth Svantesson. More specifically, the aim is to analyze newspaper material through a discourse analyze, to see if and how religious affiliation effects the possibilities to act as a political representative. Theories of othering and intersectionality serve as theoretical points of departure. Further, chains of equivalence from Laclau and Mouffe?s discourse theory are used to study how categories as ?us? and ?the other? are constructed in the material, and how these processes of categorization relate to the intersection of religion, gender and ethnicity.

AbstractThis study is about describing the pre- internationalization phase and to studycompanies that are in this phase. We are trying to capture characteristics of decisionmakersin the pre- internationalization phase, to then compare the theoretical materialwith empirical material from case companies. Then in the final stages of the thesis, wewant to account for if we managed to answer our research questions. In the method, wegive a description of the approach selected in conjunction with the study. The study isqualitative and we used both primary and secondary data, with a deductive approach.The theory chapter will consider the most relevant theories that are related to the topic,which is internationalization, pre-internationalization, international entrepreneurship,and the psychology behind personalities, attitudes, and how these can affect theorganization's strategic decisions.

 This report will describe a project between two students from Karlstad University and Markus Norström from Hovercraft solutions. The project aim was to develop a cabin for the hovercraft 380TD. The project was divided into two sub parts; one concerning the design of the cabin and one concerning the engineering. Throughout this rapport you can follow the engineering part of the project. The project has followed a systematic product development process resulting in optimized results for material selection and engineering solutions.

Erik Andersson: Utanför Murarna: En studie av Ulf Lundells och rockkulturens outsiderpositionering. Uppsala universitet: Institutionen för musikvetenskap, 2007.The main aim of this essay is to show how the artist Ulf Lundell presents himself as someone with an outsider's view of life. This also includes showing that this aspiration is a common one among artists in the rock culture.The aim was reached by studying texts, lyrics, interviews, articles of and with Lundell and then applying theories about authenticity and performativity on this material. In order to put this in a context I looked at a similar material but with a much broader perspective, artists from different countries, genres and eras is here included.The conclusion of this study is that a kind of norm system in the rock culture has developed and Lundell is acting accordingly to these rules. The outsider position has become an important ingredient in Lundell's persona and this position can also be seen as a given norm in the wider context.

Mitt examensarbete handlar om när och hur tidigalärare introducerar procent. Jag beskriver vilka förkunskaper eleverna bör ha innan procent introduceras. Arbetet belyser vilka metoder och material som lärare kan använda sig av. Jag ger några exempel på hur procentarbete kan gå till i år 2, men det huvudsakliga arbetet handlar om hur procent introduceras för elever med förkunskaper inom bråk och decimaltal. Procent introduceras enligt min undersökning tidigast år 5.

My master?s thesis is a study of acquisition of photographies during 1958-2008. The questions I proceed from is what patterns lies behind the Royal library's acquisition of photography and how the process of acquisition looks like. The theoretical base which I lean on consists partly of a problematization of the process of cultural heritage and partly of organizational theory. The problematization of the process of cultural heritage is my foundation of this essay.

För att visa på nyttan av vad ett användartest kan erbjuda i samband med utveckling av en webbplats har vi i denna rapport tagit med alla stegen fram till och med utveckling i Vattenfallsmetoden, som är den metod som vi använt oss av. De föregående stegen i metoden är förstudie, analys och design. Förstudien valde vi att genomföra som ett användartest för att få fram vad användarna verkligen efterfrågade. Vi analyserade sedan resultatet av användartestet och gjorde en sammanfattning, men i den tog vi även hänsyn till det material som vi samlat in och vad de ansvariga på Hedlunds Hus AB efterfrågade. Detta resulterade i en lista med prioriterade funktioner och innehåll, som vi sedan utgick ifrån vid utveckling av webbplatsen.

.The Whole language program is in Sweden generally referred to as ?Kiwimetoden? - ?the Kiwi program? (author?s direct translation) partly due to the fact that the Whole language program originates from New Zealand. Whole language is basically a literacy program and approaches literacy from a holistic point of view. Children learning to read and write should do so in the same natural way children learn to speak their native language which is in the context of authentic language as a whole. In Sweden the program is generally practiced together with a commercial and pre-organised material called ?kiwi? or ?Stjärnsvenska?.

Syftet med denna studie var att få en inblick i hur ett antal lärare och förskollärare tänker kring den pedagogiska miljön i allmänhet och på sin arbetsplats i synnerhet. Syftet med studien var också att belysa eventuella skillnader och likheter i synen på den pedagogiska miljön mellan dessa två lärargrupper. Med pedagogisk miljö menas i denna studie den fysiska miljön. För att genomföra denna studie användes kvalitativa intervjuer med semistrukturerade frågor. Sex personer intervjuades, tre lärare verksamma i årskurs F-6 samt tre förskollärare verksamma i förskolan med åldrarna 1-5 år.

This thesis presents an application that performs positioning of modules automatically based on given data for every module, and the development of it. The basis of the application is from a previous thesis code. On top of that code, more features and error handling has been added, as well as fixes for various bugs. A stress test has been performed and further development possibilities are being presented.The thesis work was carried out at Toyota Material Handling Mjölby (TMH) and was made in parallel with another thesis by Fredrik Holden who was generating data for the application. Olika lärare har olika syn på bildundervisning i skolan. Utifrån deras uppfattning och erfarenhet är syftet med studien är att undersöka hur lärare förhåller sig till bildundervisningen i grundskolans tidigare år. För att få svar på vår frågeställning har fyra intervjuer samt en enkätundersökning gjorts på två skolor. Genom intervjuerna får vi svar på hur lärarna menar att deras skolmiljö påverkar bildundervisningen, hur de ser på bilden som ett redskap till barns utveckling och hur de uppfattar sin egen bildundervisning. Detta empiriska material har tillämpats på våra teoretiska utgångspunkter som framförallt ligger i det sociokulturella perspektivet och är baserad på bland annat Vygotskij.

Syftet med studien var att fa? kunskap om vilka verktyg och uttrycksformer barn anva?nder na?r matematik synliggo?rs i den fria leken i fo?rskolans olika inomhusmiljo?er. Utga?ngspunkt har varit uttrycksformerna som finns beskrivna i fo?rskolans la?roplan (Lpfo? 98, rev. 10) samt Bishops (1991) sex fundamentala matematiska aktiviteter.

Denna uppsats handlar om elevers attityd till ämnet matematik. Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka om elevers attityd till matematik förändras vid införande av mer konkret material i form av lek och spel i undervisningen. Undersökningen genomfördes i årskurs tre och pågick under en period av fem veckor. Enkäter och observationer har legat till grund för undersökningen. Målet var att ge eleverna möjligheten att arbeta mer praktiskt.
