This study deals with work Environment from a legal perspective. The study includes legislative history, legislation today and one empirical study. The legislation that concerns work Environment (health and safety) in Sweden today is found in the Swedish Work Environment Act (WEA), the Work Environment Ordinance (WEO), Provisions issued by the Work Environment Authority, related legislations and also collective agreements. The WEA, passed by the parliament in 1977, came into force on the 1st of July 1978 and it defines the framework for Provisions issued by the Work Environment Authority, which is an authority superintended by the Swedish government. These Provisions contain more detailed stipulations and obligations with reference to the working Environment.

Work Environment has been an important part of the Swedish working life for a long time and with the help of the Working Environment Law the work Environment is mandatory. The purpose of this study was to gain a deeper insight into how the system of middle managers systematic work Environment looks like. The question was: How do six middle managers perceive and deal with systematic work Environment? A qualitative study was conducted with six middle managers from a global company. During the analysis, there were three main themes to be recognized (cooperation and support facilitates the work Environment, problem with the systematic work and difficulties with staff) and six sub themes.

This study is about the preschool Environment. Earlier studies show that preschool Environment affect children?s development and learning. This study will exemplify the perspective of active preschool teachers of how they see at preschool play Environment. The aim of this study is to bring insight and understanding on how preschool teachers see upon their play Environment and the play that occurs.

In our everyday life we are faced with many choices that have consequences on the Environment. One of these is the food we choose to eat since food production has a big impact on the Environment. In organic production the aim is to have a natural production process, where Environmental impacts are minimized. By choosing organic food it is therefore possible to contribute to a better Environment. A large number of meals are served every day in the public sector, which makes it an important player in the consumer sector that could make a major difference for the Environment..

This diploma work was performed because the company Sveriges BostadsrättsCentrum, with the abbreviation SBC, had a need to gain insight into how changes in the Work Environment Act and related regulations which took effect January 1, 2009 affecting their work with the work Environment. The changes mean that the client may hand over his work Environment responsibilities to a contractor and that he has to select so-called building work Environment co-ordinators. At SBC they are working as representatives for tenant-owner's association when a construction is about to be carried out. The purpose was to ascertain how changes may affect the work at SBC. The diploma work intends to educate the staff at SBC how work with the work Environment would look like if they met the regulatory requirements.

The purpose with this study was to examine which opinions and knowledge the directors have about the physical residential Environment's importance on accommodations for people with dementia disease and how they do to create and to maintain a good physical residential Environment. The issues have been: Which opinions and knowledge the directors had about the physical residential Environment's importance for the people with dementia? How did the managers work in order to create and maintain a good physical residential Environment? We had four themes, homelike Environment on the accommodations, priorities on the accommodation, care/nursing in the physical residential Environment and the manager?s possibility to influence the physical residential Environment. The study followed a qualitative method. Five managers were interviewed on four accommodations and the managers were said to work actively with the physical residential Environment.

The purpose to this survey is to map out the affordances available in the outdoor Environment of one preschool. This has been executed through three episodes of observing children at that preschool during their outdoor play. All visible affordances has been written down and later on summarized in different themes where the most interesting meeting places in the outdoor Environment at the pre-school have been described. The result of the study shows what the children at this preschool do in their outdoor Environment. It also shows the importance of the arrangement of material and Environment in order to be able to support childrens play.

My essay is on the subject of teachers work Environment with focus on noise and communication. In the essay questions are raised on how a teacher can influence his or hers noisy work Environment. A school is a large work place with many employees and is owned and administered by the county municipality which is an even bigger workplace. How big an acting space does a teacher have in such a large organization?My methods of research on these questions have been to conduct interviews and analyzing documentation from The Swedish Work Environment Authority.

This study aims to examine what students in two schools think of the physical Environment in their school, and how this affect their studies. My main question I wanted to answer was:How does the students think that the physical Environment affect their day in school?I also wanted to find out what the students think is important in the physical Environment in their school. The study is based on interviews with students i two different schools. One secondary school, in which three eight-grade students were interviewed, and one high school in which two students were interviewed. The result of the interviews is that the students think that their work in school is affected by the physical Environment. The most important things is to feel safe in school and to have the possibilities to do studies without limitations in the Environment, for example room to do their own studies, and a flexibility and variation in the Environment.

This is a qualitative study conducted by four informants.This essay is based on Lev Vygotiskijs perspective of the "sociocultural perspective", which is based on the theory that humans act upon their knowledge and experience, depending on the opportunities that the Environment provides.The purpose of this study is to examine how three teachers, who teach younger ages, organize the Environment in their classrooms. The goal of this study is to find out what the interviewed teachers perceive as good classroom Environment. Also how the Environment affects pupils? learning and what the teachers keep in mind when they furnish their classrooms.

The purpose of this thesis was to examine relevance of the proposition made by new insitutionalists about institutional and technical Environment. This proposition originaly made by Meyer & Rowan (1977) has two core assumptions: The first is that all organizations are controlled by combinations of types of demands; technical demands for efficient production and institutional demands to adept to cultural and normative expectations. The second assumption is that there exists a few organizations dominated almost entirely by one typy of demand. Organizations dominated by institutional demands are said to live in an institutional Environment, while technical organizations is said operate in a technical Environment. This thesis has examined if these assumptions are still applicable in describing organizational interaction with the Environment.

The purpose of this studie was to use qualitative methods to find out how teachers perceive what a good classroom Environment means for students with ADHD. Know the teachers what to do with the physical Environment for students with ADHD? My research questions I wanted to answer was how support or hinder classroom Environment children who have ADHD? What can educators how classroom Environment to be adapted for students with ADHD? I have presented three different themes based on my interviews, Structure / classroom Environment, placement and traditional teachings. Has compiled my answers from informants and analyzed the responses by prior research and theory. The results show that teachers have good insight into what is good for students with ADHD, but what is it that goes wrong?.

The purpose of this study was to create an Environment that stimulates children?s communication via language in a preschool called ?The Flower?. The Environment should encourage and challenge the children to interact and communicate more with each other. That in turn will further the children?s language acquisition.
