Startfosfor till höstvete

There is always an endeavor to govern the initial products in the plant cultivation with precision in order to keep down the expenditure and in order to decrease environmental impact. Initial phosphorus fertilizer can then be one possibility in order to keep down the fertilizer cost and to decrease environmental impact. This exam study includes a literature study about location of fertilizer and which effects this give and two field experiments. The aim with initial phosphorus fertilizer to autumn wheat is to accelerate the root growth and to give the crop a big root system before the growth stagnates before the winter. Easy to access phosphorus favours the root growth. Practically this is done so that the initial phosphorus is intermixed and placed along with the seed in the seed row. In order to see if this theory agrees in the reality, two field experiments are organized in north-western Skåne. The faster root growth should give wintering advantages. The experiments show that this is not the case. The tendency was a rather opposite effect, depending on which field. A reason why it did not become any significant differences was perhaps the relatively high phosphorus value in the soil. The conditions were not perhaps the best, with surface water on parts of the field. Initial phosphorus fertilizer for autumn wheat is no solution in order to establish the crop later than what the current cultivation local permits, according the experiments in this study. The weather conditions have a great influence on how much the crop can grow before the winter.
