This study is an attempt to shed light on the importance of fiction as a bridge between different cultures and traditions. The objective of this essay is Threefold. First it explores the potentiality of fiction as a communication channel between different cultures, societies and social groups. Secondly, it studies the availability of foreign fiction in Swedish language. And thirdly it tries to approach and analyze the structures and mechanisms behind that availability.

The aim of this qualitative respondent investigation is to delve into the various views that teachers have concerning the ?One-to-One project?, as well as the use of computers as an aid in teaching. One-to-One means that teachers and students will be equipped with a laptop they can use at home and at school.This essay looks at how several factors have changed as a result of this. The Arctic region appears as a pristine remote environment, yet there is increasing evidence that it is greatly impacted by pollution such as lead (Pb) and mercury (Hg). In this environment deposition of Hg has increased Threefold since the last industrial revolution. In this study five cryosolic soil profiles within non-sorted circles (NSC) in the Abisko region, northwest of Sweden, has been analyzed to improve our understanding regarding how pollutants are distributed within such type of soil. The soil samples have been analyzed with the use of X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF), for the measurements of the total concentrations of e.g. lead (Pb) and zirconium (Zr).

I samband med att Afghanistan själva skall ta över säkerhetsansvaret i landet från 2015 kommer en stor del av framgången bero på den afghanska arméns (ANA) förmåga och färdigheter. Avseende dess kapacitet att klara av denna uppgift har det framförts tvivel. Mot bakgrund av detta kommer den afghanska arméns krigföringsförmåga i nutid att undersökas i denna uppsats i syfte att kartlägga eventuella förtjänster samt brister som i sin tur kanske kan ge en fingervisning om framtiden. Metoden utgörs av en fallstudie av (ANA) där ett analysverktyg skapas med hjälp av J.F.C Fullers teorier om krigföringsförmåga han framför i sin bok ?The Foundations of the Science of War? och specifikt det han benämner som the Threefold order. Krigföringsförmågan delas i sin tur in i fysiska, konceptuella och moraliska faktorer. Med hjälp av detta analysverktyg sorterar jag undersökningsmaterialet, som framförallt utgörs av rapporter från det amerikanska försvarsdepartementet och kongressen, med hjälp av kvalitativ textanalys. Avslutningsvis besvaras den övergripande frågeställningen genom en analys av det insamlade undersökningsmaterialet och en avslutande diskussion. Det övergripande resultatet är att ANA har gjort stora framsteg under de senaste åren men att den samlade krigföringsförmågan bedöms som låg.

When patrolling grocery stores, customers engage in a purchase situation where they face great amounts of information, whereof price is one. This paper intends to shed light on the price information search behavior that customer's exhibit before choosing their products in grocery stores. In order to do so two studies have been conducted, one quantitative and one qualitative, to assemble the data needed to provide statistically significant results. The objective of the quantitative study is to gather data on customer's external price information search, and it is based on the most recent eye-tracking technology. The second qualitative study is complementary and based on interviews with randomly chosen customers that have responded to several questions regarding their price information search, shopping knowledge and experiences.

But my main concern with this essay must be thought of as a brief and personal mapping of Christian belief and it´s rational status in relation to both basic philosophy and the other great religious traditions. Furthermore, I am anxious to widen the perspectives of that which theoretically can be considered substantially real, and the existential consequences that follows on such a study. In doing so I must make sure that it´s properly anchored in history of both philosophy and religion, and of course ? with the general idea of God.

This study investigated the effects of rubber alley flooring on cow locomotion, claw and leg health, production, cleanliness, grooming behaviour and cow exclusion rate in a free stall herd. The study was conducted in a new dairy house with a rotary milking system, with a matched group of cows on traditional scraped concrete alleys used for comparison. Firstly, to investigate if a four week program in pain rehabilitation had any effect on how much individuals with persistent pain worked and their degree of kinesiophobia. Secondly, to study if there was a correlation between how much these individuals worked and their degree of kinesiophobia.
