The essay begins by asserting that the Theoretical approaches of men?s violence against women are just as important to study as its extent. The purpose is therefore to analyse and compare two Theoretical approaches which is done by a comparative text analysis of two texts written on the subject. The essay attempts to answer two questions; what the Theoretical approaches are and how they can be understood in light of feminist theory.Previous research on men?s violence against women discuss especially three Theoretical aspects.

This paper aims to present a Theoretical understanding of the emergence of extreme right- wing populist parties (ERP), and more specifically the electoral breakthrough of the ERP party, Sverigedemokraterna in the municipality of Karlskrona. By doing so the study is constructed as a Theoretical framework, where the empirical material and the Theoretical aspects are interwoven. This means that the Theoretical framework also functions as an analytical part. The paper shows how Sverigedemokraterna could be understood as an ERP party, based on e.g its populist anti-establishment critique, and its critique towards the ?immigrant issue?.

Stress : En gransking av studenters stressnivå - Praktik och icke praktik

Practical and Theoretical learning are methods that are used in schools as a way to prepare students for the working life. Within the practical learning knowledge is not only acquired to learn in practice, but the students must also be able to apply their Theoretical knowledge to what he/she does. Against this background, the aim of the study was to investigate the importance of practical learning for students in college / university level and how they are experiencing the stress that may arise out of the loss of practical learning during their education, as well as their vision for working life after completing their education. The population of the study consisted of N = 36, which 18 of these had used both practical and Theoretical learning and the remainder had only used Theoretical learning. The method was a questionnaire survey with a high proportion of fixed alternative answers according to likert scales.

Perspektiv på genusidentitet i förhistorien : Så resonerar forskarna

This essay examines how four archaeology scholars reason about gender. I have used a qualitative method in making this study of their dissertations.  The aim is to obtain a deeper understanding of gender identity in prehistory, gaining a broader appreciation of how this might be expressed through archaeological material. This essay takes its Theoretical departure from postprocessual thinking, where gender perspectives, including feminist and queer theories are in focus. The result of this study shows that the scholars have a postprocessual, structuralistic Theoretical perspective in common, and that they use stereotypical identity-descriptions.

Manöverkrigets förutsättning : En kvalitativ studie om förhållandet mellan praktik och teori

The term maneuver warfare is frequently used in western defense doctrines and Theoreticaltextbooks. The ambition of the Swedish armed forces is to attempt maneuver warfare in allappropriate situations. Theories and doctrines indicate the importance of decentralized command and control systems. Mission command (Auftragstaktik) is one such system and should be applied to all situations of the Swedish Armed Forces. There are Theoretical and doctrinal bases for warfare and command, but in practice, what are the preconditions for this? Previous research addresses many Theoretical questions but there are flaws in existing studies investigating practical realities.The purpose of this study has been to reach a deeper understanding of armed forces ability to maneuver warfare by analyzing conformity of command and leadership perspectives in practice.This is an interview-based qualitative case study in which respondent´s statements were analyzed and interpreted in relation to a Theoretical framework.

Bibliotekariens kunskap: En textanalys av SOU 1969:37

The aim with this Masters thesis is to examine the professional knowledge of the librarian. The method used is text analysis of a state public investigation, SOU 1969:37, that concerns librarian education. The Theoretical starting point is a theory of knowledge thats descended from Aristotle. Three different forms of knowledge are central concepts in the theory: the Theoretical, the practical and the ethical. The main issue in this thesis is: In what ways did the investigators look at the librarians knowledge? Was it in a changeable period of time? In that case, what reasons could there be? The conclusion shows that educational political changes were affecting the whole educational sphere at the late 1960:s, and in the beginning of the 1970:s, including library education.

Den rätta känlslan : Om den grafiska formgivarens nödvändighet  och förhållande till prosatext

The right touch is a project investigating the necessity of the graphic designer in relation to prose text.The project is partly Theoretical and partly practical. A series of interviews with graphic designers, publishers and writers has been conducted to discuss the relationship between content and form in prose. In addition to these interviews, I have done Theoretical research on the historical, political and economical context of the designed prose. Based on the findings during the Theoretical research, a series of practical experiments was also executed. This project has had several outcomes but one of the more noteworthy is two methods for challenging the references in the act of designing prose (choosing a typeface, for example) using algorithms.

Marknadsföringsbegrepp i praktiken : En kvalitativ studie om tillämpningen av priming, upplevelserummet och relationsmarknadsföring i fallet HV71

The study is based on the pragmatic question whether one can apply the Theoretical perspectives priming, experience space and relationship marketing in a practical context. The authors visualize how these concepts appear practical and what advantages and disadvantages can be discerned in the particular case of HV71. The method used is a hypothetico-deductive approach, which is not entirely conventional in the humanistic and social scientific context. Consequently, it has been proven to be particularly suitable as it could expose the Theoretical perspectives for a difficult scientific test.The result of the study demonstrated that a marketer could benefit from using the Theoretical perspectives when exercising the profession. It also showed that the object of study applied these perspectives.

This thesis has been performed at consulting firm Sweco Position in Jönköping. The thesis is divided into two main sections: Theoretical and practical. Methodology: The thesis is based on abductive perspective where empirical and Theoretical material has been mixed to create a foundation for the analysis. Theoretical perspectives: Theories concerning knowledge management and research and development have primarily been used. These have been complemented with material about team structures and incentive systems. Empirical foundation: The empirical material is based on semi structured, mostly qualitative interviews and strictly quantitative inquiries performed at Industrial Hose within the Trelleborg group.
