Vilka strategier och metoder kan vara användbara för en hållbar viktnedgång?
The purpose of the study was to examine what methods and strategies individuals use to maintain their weight loss. Another aim was to explore which factors can complicate or simplify weight loss maintenance. Fifty-four individuals who had maintained their weight loss more than a year, participated by answering a questionnaire. The questionnaire was constructed and distributed through the internet. The answers were registered in the program google docs. The participants mentioned successful methods and strategies, such as exercising regularly, the majority exercised 30 minutes at least five times per week.

Övervikt och fetma hos barn och ungdomar : Orsaker, konsekvenser och åtgärder
The purpose of this essay was to get some knowledge about how the situation was for children with overweight and obesity. I wanted to examine what experience about causes, consequences and measure the professionals, who meets children in different situations in their daily work had, and I wanted to find out which explanations current research had about the problem.The knowledge I have acquired during my work with this paper about the problem was that it was depending on many different factors on various stage in the child's life which influences and interacts with the child in its development. The risk that a child would develop overweight was amongst other things depending on the child's eating- and exercising habits.This habit was formatted for example by the circumstances in the family, availability of Sweets/food and the choice of leisure time activities.The consequences for the overweight/obese children could be that the child did not manage to keep up with its friend's physical activities which led to a sense of rejection, risk of being bullied by friends, the risk of a damaged physical and psychic health. The problem was not easy to measure and all of the studies demonstrated that parental involvement is necessary in an effective treatment of childhood obesity..

A tendency of impaired oral health has lately been seen among children and adolescents. The consumption of soft drinks and fruit juices is rising and at the same time many children and adolescents skip breakfast and lunch at school. That in combination with a frequent snacking increases the risk of caries. The aim of this study was to examine the knowledge of caries, oral hygiene- and dietary habits and experience of tobacco among 12-year-old schoolchildren. The study was performed in 5th grade in four different schools in the North East of Skåne in cooperation with the dental health board clinic in Näsby, Kristianstad.

Another aim was to investigate the attitudes by the drivers to food and meals and their expectations on the meals. This is a qualitative study conducted in ten interviews, seven of which were over the phone. The interviews were semi-structured and took about twenty minutes for each driver. Data relating to the food choices for one day were collected and questions asked about their attitudes to food and meals were collected simultaneously.

Sötsaker i förskolan : En intervjuundersökning om föräldrars syn på mat och sötsaker i förskolan
Detta är en studie om föräldrars tankar om maten som serveras barnen i förskolan samt vilka åsikter de har om förekomsten av sötsaker och sötade produkter. Data har samlats in genom kvalitativa intervjuer med sex föräldrar till barn från två olika förskolor i en kommun. Tre föräldrar på varje förskola fick svara på frågor om deras tankar om maten på förskolan och vad de har för inställning till att det serveras sötsaker på förskolan. Flera undersökningar visar att socker inte är bra ur hälsosynpunkt. Sötsaker är en bidragande orsak till flera ohälsosamma tillstånd och sjukdomar. De flesta av föräldrarna var eniga om att det var bra att erbjudandet av sötsaker i förskolan minskat.
