Informationsmaterial för nya hyresgäster

Jag har arbetat med att producera ett informationsmaterial för nya hyresgäster hos hyresvärden Ydewalls i Katrineholm. Jag har använt mina kunskaper inom informationsdesign, textdesign och grafisk form för att utforma materialet.    Syftet med informationsmaterialet är att ge de nya hyresgästerna den information som de kan tänkas behöva under tiden de bor i lägenheten. Ydewalls vill genom att förbättra sitt material minska antalet onödiga förfrågningar från hyresgästerna.   Jag har arbetat efter min huvudfråga: hur skapas ett informationsmaterial utifrån de principer som finns inom informationsdesign? För att få svar på min fråga använde jag mig av metoder som litteraturstudier, komparation, deskription, enkätundersökning samt utprovningar.

Similarities in earlier research between leadership Styles and communication forms were found, partly concerning relations and partly concerning work assignments. Our approach was based on the notion that there could be a correlation between the manager2019s choice of communication mode (informal/formal) and leadership Style i.e. Relation-Oriented Behaviour Leadership Style/Task-Oriented Behaviour Leadership Style. A gender perspective was used in the research. The method was quantitative with a questionnaire to women managers (N=78) in the private and the public sectors.

A graphical mapping of how light is used in theatre

This treatise analysis what functions light has in theater. It was inspired by Rosalinda Krauss essay Sculpture in the Expanded Field but builds mostly on the following three books Linda Essig Lighting and the design idea (2nd ed), Nigel H. Morgan Stage lighting for theater designers and Francis Reid The stage lighting handbook (6th ed). It discovers nine unique functions of light (performance Style, dramatic Style, image,illumination, 3D space, 3D form, selectivity, environment, atmosphere) and develops a graphical mapping of them based on a mapping by Reid. The functions performance Style, dramatic Style, image are superior the others.

Hedge Fund Style Analysis, Is an Index-Based Approach Viable?

This thesis aims to open the Pandora?s Box of hedge fund Styles through an index-based Style analysis. This information asymmetry is due to both less strict disclosure requirements and inherent nature of hedge funds. We employ a multiple unconditional linear regression model wherein 23 Swedish hedge funds are regressed on 10 Style indices. In addition to the increased interest in hedge funds and their performance drivers, our unique approach with regressing return on return motivates this study.

The purpose of the literature review was to examine barriers and facilitators to life Style changes experienced by patients with coronary heart disease. This knowledge could be of use to the nurse in her role as a support to the patient in the process of life Style change. The result from this study shows that family support, knowledege about the disease and motivation are important factors when changing life Style behaviors..

Tjustempiren : fallstudier av Casimirsborg och Blekhem

This paper concerning the regional architectural term known as the Tjust Empire Style analyses manor houses built in the Tjust area by the east coast of Småland in the period 1810-1860. The term Tjust Empire Style was invented in 1937 by PhD. Manne Hofrén in his dissertation on architecture in Kalmar län in the period 1650-1850. The aim of the paper is firstly to determine whether there is a distinct difference between the regional Tjust Empire Style in architecture and the common Swedish empire Style or as its Swedish equivalent is known; the Karl Johan Style. Secondly, the paper strives to analyse why and how the Empire Style became so popular in the area during this period, focusing on architecture as a means to express social identity and status.

Skyltar i verkstadsmiljö : Informationsdesign och Rumslig Gestaltning i ett förslag på utformning och placering av ett representativt skyltsystem

Under våren 2008 utförde jag mitt examensarbete på Utvecklingsverkstaden, inom Volvo Construction Equipment i Eskilstuna. Uppdraget bestod i att presentera förslag på ett skyltsystem som skulle vara modernt, professionellt utformat och ha ett enhetligt utseende. Den befintliga skyltparken var kraftigt eftersatt och föråldrad.  Syftet formulerades till att utforma förslag på ett tydligt skyltsystem som skulle representera aktuell avdelning och dess verksamhet. Syftet innefattade även att ta fram övergripande riktlinjer om placering, för varje kategori av skyltar.

Attributionsstil och priming-effekt: En experimentell studie om välmående

The aim of this study was to examine differences between happy and unhappy people, with respect to individuals interpretations, their attributonal Style and in what way the priming effect is related to their attributional Style and well-being. The participants were 74 senior high school and 21 undergraduate college students. Participants were asked to read a short story, some words were in bold type, and thereafter for their subjective perception of the words in bold type loading and memory of them in a recognition list. Attributional Style was operationalized with an own constructed instrument. The results show that happy individuals interpreted more words as positive than negative in comparission with unhappy individuals.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between job satisfaction and leadership Style as well as participants' perceived leadership Style and job satisfaction. Sixty-two participants answered a questionnaire containing 56 questions regarding perceived leadership Style and job satisfaction. The leadership Styles examined in the study was transformative, transactional and laissez-faire leadership. The results showed a relationship between transformational and transactional leadership and job satisfaction but not with laissez-faire leadership. The results also showed that employees experienced a laissez-faire leadership.

Animals living in captivity are often subjected to various kinds of stress. Individuals within species can respond differently to the same stressor depending on differences in coping Style and physiology. Active and passive coping is a common way to describe different coping Styles in animals and it is likely that these strategies have a high heritability. Individuals with an active coping Style are characterized by an urge of control and a higher level of aggression than individuals with passive coping Style, who in general are more flexible and respond to stress by immobilisation to a greater extent. The aim of this bachelor?s thesis is to investigate the presence of different coping Styles and personality types in dogs (Canis lupus familiaris) and horses (Equus ferus caballus) and to find fields of application for this information.

Populism som kommunikationsstrategi i Svensk politik

In Jan Jagers and Stefaan Walgrave theory about populism as a political communication-Style they claim that one can find this in the rhetoric of political parties. In their study of Belgian politics they found that the extreme-right party Vlaams Block has embraced this populism to a larger extent than other parties. Based on this theory this thesis aims at finding populism as a communication-Style in three different Swedish political parties with the purpose to see if the extreme-right party ?The Sweden Democrats? will show populism to a larger extent than other parties, as was the case in the Belgian study.Based on Jagers and Walgraves operational definition of populism as a political communication-Style this thesis applies it to the rhetoric of three different parties being ?The Social Democratic Party?, ?The Moderate Party? and ?The Sweden Democrats?. This is done in order to be able to clarify on the one hand if their theory is applicable to the Swedish case and on the other hand to what extent populism as a communication-Style exists in Swedish political rhetoric.The method for this thesis has been a qualitative text analysis since and leads to the result that Jagers and Walgraves theory of populism as a communication-Style is applicable to the Swedish case and that ?The Sweden Democrats? to a larger extent uses this political communication Style, than the two other parties..

Ledarskap och ledarstilar i klassrummet : en intervjustudie utifrån ett lärarperspektiv

The purpose with this examine was to study the teachers perception of leadership in the classroom and also how they experience the conditions of this. The method used was qualitative, and builds on a total of six interviews. Stensmos five leadership tasks in the classroom that constitute leadership context have provided the theoretical basis of this study. The leadership tasks have therefore been used as theoretical tools in this study to analyze the teachers? reasoning about their own leadership Style.

Svensk kulturmiljövård : angeläget. tillgängligt och användbart för alla?

The aim of this thesis is to explore from a cultural diversity perspective, students 'views on teachers' leadership Styles in the classroom and what Style of management students prefer. The study uses a qualitative methodology to interviewed focus groups of students consisting of a total of twelve students at a secondary school in Botkyrka municipality. The corpus was divided into three different groups. Overall, results showed that students seem to prefer an intercultural situational leadership Style. This is based on the students expressed need of wanting to be understood on the basis of their cultural background.
