The aim of this study was to investigate preschool teacher?s perceptions about the curriculum goal concerning Simple chemical processes. The result was based on narratives received by a qualitative study and semi-structured interviews of six preschool teachers. The results of the study showed that preschool teachers perceive that they actually are working in a relatively small scale with Simple chemical processes and they do not really know what Simple chemical processes are, and do not feel very familiar with the subject. Water, dough, mud, paint and baking were the most common activities that were used when working towards the curricular goal. However, it was never explained to the children that it was Simple chemical processes they were working with during the activities, neither was it discussed among colleagues because of the uncertainty about the concept.

Föräldrakooperativet Lillmyran är en förskola som ligger i Gävle och de har en hemsida som behöver utvecklas. Förskolan ville ha hjälp med att först kartlägga vilka förväntningar medlemmarna hade på deras hemsida. Därefter skulle det undersökas om deras plattform för webbpublicering, CMS Made Simple, hade de tekniska förutsättningar som krävdes för att förverkliga deras önskemål. Till sist skulle även hemsidan utvecklas med tanke på de villkoren. Kartläggningen av förväntningarna på hemsidan skedde med hjälp av en enkätundersökning och systemet skapades med hjälp av CMS Made Simple.

I denna uppsats undersöks vilka uttryck för framtid i svenskan som svarar mot fransktfuturum i form av futur Simple. Undersökningen utgår från åtta originalromaner med franska respektive svenska som källspråk samt deras översättningar, hämtade ur enparallellkorpus.Alla förekomster av futur Simple i materialet har identifierats och kategoriserats iförhållande till deras svenska motsvarigheter. De viktigaste motsvarigheterna är svensktfuturum i form av konstruktionerna kommer att + infinitiv respektive ska/skall +infinitiv, presens samt konstruktioner med modala hjälpverb. Exempel på de olikamotsvarigheterna analyseras utifrån ett ekvivalensperspektiv där de vanligastebetydelserna för varje motsvarighet diskuteras i förhållande till de olika möjligabetydelser som futur Simple kan omfatta. Betydelserna ses utifrån begreppen tempusoch modalitet.De svenska motsvarigheterna kan var för sig rent generellt sägas endast motsvaradelar av det betydelsefält som futur Simple svarar mot, och en frågeställning gällerhuruvida översättaren kan sägas ha kompenserat för detta.

The Simple view of reading is a theory in which reading is divided into decoding and linguistic comprehension. The theory has been used to explain and to subgroup reading disabilities. Research has also investigated if additional factors are of relevance to reading. In the present study, decoding was divided into the factors orthographic decoding and phonological decoding, while comprehension was divided into word comprehension and grammatical comprehension. The purpose was to analyze these factors and their contribution to reading ability in children in fourth grade: one group with reading difficulties (n=36) and one group with typical reading ability (n=36).

Genom tjockare vindsbjälklagsisolering minskar både energiförlusten genom bjälklaget och uppvärmningsbehovet i huset, men hur många funderar på vad som händer med det förändrade klimatet på vinden och hur det kan påverka fuktförhållandena i utsatta delar av konstruktionen.Studier från Chalmers Tekniska Högskola har framställt ett fuktberäkningsprogram för uteluftsventilerade vindar vid namn Simple Cold Attic Model. Programmets funktion och potential har prövats i denna rapport genom en beräkningsanalys av en uteluftsventilerad vindskonstruktion. Försök till att förbättra fuktsäkerheten i konstruktionen har utförts och redovisas i rapporten. Studien har påvisat att den studerade konstruktionen inte är fuktsäker om den uppförs i Stockholmsområdet. Det visades även att aktiva val i konstruktionen kan förebygga fuktskador. Studien har påvisat vikten av inte beräkna med medelår för klimat och hur det påverkar beräkningsresultatet av mögeltillväxt.

In order to search for possible solutions I needed to find out which factors and attitudes that determine why people choose public transportation and peoples? traveling habit. I have made a survey study of satisfaction and attitudes among the consumers of a public transportation company in Växjö; Länstrafken Kronoberg.

The automotive industry is increasingly studying lightweight solution in their designs, also rational production and low costs in materials and manufacturing methods are of great interest. This thesis consisted in the practical evaluation of anchors for sandwich panels. The object was to study loads of shearing and pull out of the plane. The experiments were carried out on panels made up of 1mm aluminium coatings and 50mm extruded polystyrene (XPS) at its core. This is the project of making a stage design for Batboy ? the musical, a cooporation with a network of musical artists. The aim of the project was to create a space on stage that strengthens and expands the experience of the story told, and find design solutions that give an extra dimension to the story. The prerequisites for my work were partly defined from the produc¬tion, as were my limitations. In the cast of ten artists some were to play more than one role, often one of the opposite sex.

In this paper we analyze a social network specifically designed for the elderly, people with Dementia and people with generally low computer experience. This is a relatively unexplored use for such software, and our goal is to find out whether the technique to be used is Simple enough to use for the intended user group, and generally how the whole situation is experienced by the users. To achieve this we conducted an expert evaluation and interviewed a number of users at two separate occasions during their first weeks with Modernfamilies. We came to the conclusion that this software generally is Simple enough to use for the intended target group. Some of the users we came in contact with experienced the software as a positive addition to their daily lives, while some could not see any reason for a further use.

Det övergripande syftet med den här översikten är att peka på hur modellen Simple View of Reading kan visa på de färdigheter som krävs vid läsning, svårigheter som kan uppstå och passande moment i arbete med dessa. Genom litteraturöversikten har nio nyutgivna internationella forskningsartiklar granskats för att svara till syftet. Översikten har sökt fokusera på inkludering av artiklar som endast behandlar yngre elever utan funktionsnedsättningar som adhd, apsperger, autism och/eller svårigheter genom tvåspråkighet. Alla artiklar i översikten är vetenskapligt granskade.

The purpose of this report is to document the experiments carried out, methods used and results gained during research into how the silicon content of an aluminium alloy affects the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE).The goal of this paper is to better understand and to find a relation between silicon content and the coefficient of thermal expansion.Experiments were carried out using carefully prepared samples of Al Si alloys (0, 7, 10 and 20% Si content). Using these alloys, the CTE could be measured using a dilatometer.Comparative analysis carried out could map the effects of silicon content on the coefficient of thermal expansion and an equation was created. Using Simple graphs and the rule of mixture method, the authors were able to build a Simple tool for calculating the CTE of specific aluminum silicon alloys..

This study compares the sample variance of the mean in a Simple random sample (SRS) and a systematic sample from a surface. The study also compares the prediction error variance in a SRS and systematic sample from a random field. Recommendations are presented on which method to use in the clearance and exemption process in the nuclear industry. The results indicate that quadratic systematic sampling outperformed SRS in most instances and proved to be especially efficient in the presence of a long-ranged covariance function and high sampling intensity (i.e. short distances between observations).
