Syfte: Syftet med den systematiska ?versiktsartikeln var att unders?ka det vetenskapliga underlaget kring huruvida ett intag av brunalger kan p?verka LDL-kolesterol hos vuxna med dyslipidemi Metod: Litteraturinsamlingen gjordes genom s?kningar i databaserna Scopus och PubMed fram till den 23 januari 2023. S?kningarna gjordes i block om tre d?r s?kblock ett riktade sig mot alger, s?kblock tv? mot dyslipidemi och s?kblock tre mot RCT. Inkluderade s?kord var bland andra ?Seaweed?, ?dyslipidemi? och ?RCT? Endast RCT med interventioner p? minst ?tta veckor inkluderades.

This study has been done in order to map the supply of vegetarian and vegan food products in Sweden for business clients and consumers. A total of 665 food stuffs were found and classified into six categories. The biggest category was meat substitutes with 302 products and the second largest category was sandwich spreads with 150 different products. Within the remaining categories a varied number of products were found; 86 beverages, 64 cooking accessories, 34 milk free ice creams and 29 plant based yogurts. Of the meat substitutes were 28 only available for business clients.

Sveriges miljömål ?Begränsad klimatpåverkan? beskriver ambitionen att fram till år 2020 ska ha minskat utsläppen av växthusgaser med 40 % gentemot år 1990. Ett sätt för Sverige att lyckas med de uppsatta målen är att utveckla biogasproduktionen. Potentialen för biogasproduktion bedöms vara mycket stor och forskning för att ta fram nya substrat att använda inom biogasframställningen pågår. Ett möjligt substrat är alger, dock har tidigare forskning påvisat höga kadmiumhalter i alger vilket kan innebära problem för spridning av rötresten.

SummaryIn the area to the east of Hue city, in Vietnam, lays Tam Giang lagoon, one of Asia's largest lagoons, with an area of 22,000 hectares. This lagoon is suitable for aquaculture. One reason for this is because the salinity differs from sweet to salty in different parts of the lagoon. The Vietnamese Government advocates an increase in environmentally-friendly aquaculture and the fish Siganus guttatus (Rabbit fish) is a candidate for this. This fish eats mainly algae and can be cultivated in a polyculture.
