Ett tillvägagångssätt kan vara att utrusta virkesfordon med Central Tire Inflation (CTI). CTI är ett system som kan sänka och höja ett fordons däckstryck under färd. Tidigare studier har konstaterat att när virkesfordon sänker däckstryck blir spårbildning mindre.
