This Master?s Thesis aims to investigate and assess the methods used to decrease the discharge ofmetals, primarily copper, from the water purification plant at Assa Industries Plating factory inEskilstuna.Literature studies of the purification methods precipitation, ion exchange, evaporation, reverseosmosis and electrolysis has been done to appraise the adequacy of the technique. Thesetechniques are commonly used for purification of industrial waste water.Assa has four Plating lines: the Trumline, the big Zinkline, the new Zinkline and the Decorativeline. The new Zinkline is the most modern of the four lines and purification is done byrecirculation over an ion exchange unit. The demand for fresh water is thereby heavily reduced.The Trumline, the big Zinkline and the Decorative line all use older techniques.

När en kock komponerar en maträtt som skall fotograferas kommer han behöva göra en medveten estetisk bedömning innan maträtten tillagas, för att sedan analysera och förstå hur betraktaren uppfattar matfotografi.I denna litteraturstudie är syftet att undersöka hur estetiska begrepp och bildanalysmetoder tillämpas inom matfotografi.Uppsatsen bygger på en litteraturstudie, där fyra vetenskapliga artiklar har tillämpats för att besvara syftet.Resultatet i litteraturstudien visar att det är svårt att finna en metod att applicera på matfotografi, men om det går att skapa ett språk med flera metoder tillsammans finns det stora fördelar ur ett analytiskt perspektiv.Tillämpningen av estetiska begrepp tillsammans med bildanalyser är komplicerat och forskningen som gjorts är inte tillräcklig.

The surface finishing technique called black oxidation is currently being used on thetool holders made of low alloyed tool steel produced by Sandvik Coromant. Blackoxidation isn?t considered a sufficient technique because it doesn?t make the toolholders look like the quality products that they actually are. The reasoning behind thisis that the tool holders can show signs of corrosion after prolonged storing times orin countries with high humidity and temperature. The corrosion doesn?t decrease thetool holders performance, but the customers might believe otherwise.
