A Piezoelectric injector was modeled, in this Master Thesis Project which was carried out at Scania CV AB in Södertälje, in GT-Fuel. GT-Fuel is simulation program from Gamma Technology.The simulation model for the Piezo injector was divided into a hydro-mechanical system and an electrical system (Piezoelectric element). First the hydro-mechanic model was duplicated from Advance Continuous Simulation Language model (ACSL). The simulation results were then compared to the ACSL, to verify that the hydro-mechanical system was modeled correctly. The simulation results for the electrical model were also compared with a Simulink model.

Ericsson har haft ett problem som påverkar deras mikrovågsradio. Detta problem handlar i grunden om mekaniska störningar som påverkar dataöverföringen mellan två radioenheter. Dessa störningar resulterar i bitfel på grund av olika orsaker. Dessa orsaker undersöks i projektet, för att i senare skede kunna förbättra precisionen av dataöverföringen. Genom att skicka signalerna med olika frekvenser på ett automatiserat och mer noggrant sätt, ökar möjligheten att testa radion i fler miljöer samtidigt möjligheten av att täcka ett så stort frekvensområde som möjligt ges.

The goal of this project was to together with Cochlear Bone Anchored Solutions AB develop a new cleaning tool for their Baha?systems. Cochlear BAS AB is a daughter company to Cochlear Limited based in Sydney, Australia. Cochlear BAS AB is situated in Gothenburg and with its 150 employees develop and manufacture the Baha?system.
