Matematiska arbetsmetoder

The purpose of this study is to give a description of how six Pedagogues in the third and fourth grade teaches mathematics and which working methods they use. When using the term working methods it is implied that it can for example be outdoors pedagogic, laboratory material, problem solutions et cetera. This material can both be an everyday material or a pedagogical material. The research was carried through by interviews and observations. Six Pedagogues were interviewed in two different districts.

Gympa i förskolan? : En studie om pedagogers syn på motorik och rörelseglädje i förskolan

The intention of the study is to investigate Pedagogues understanding of physical activities in preschool. Should special activities be planned in order to stimulate children´s progress in motor skills? I also want to find out if Pedagogues found the acitivities in preschool curriculum which says that the aim is to develop children´s body perception and teaching children how to care for their own health. I have interviewed seven Pedagogues and focus of the question lied within motor skills and the joy of movement among preschool children. The result shows that Pedagogues regard it to be important to stimulate motor activities and to encourage joy of movement in preschool.

The purpose of this study is to do a research about some Pedagogues? perceptions of the social phenomenon of bullying, about the roles that can occur and how these Pedagogues consider themselves to work accordingly. Our research questions are therefore:What beliefs about the social phenomenon of bullying has the Pedagogues?What roles emerge in different bullying situations according to the Pedagogues?How do the Pedagogues work with bullying and the roles that emerge?The study provides insight into how different approaches to bullying can contribute to various pedagogical implications in anti-bullying work. In our theoretical part we present general issues and the roles that different writers describe.

"Vill du röra på dig får du gå ut" : En studie om pedagogers syn på barns stillasittande i skolans tidigare år

This study aims to discover Pedagogues perceptions of children?s sedentary behavior linked to the school and its activities. Questions that the study sought to answer was: What do Pedagogues think of when they hear ?sedentary children?. How do the Pedagogues look at their own and the schools responsibility? Advantages and disadvantages with sedentary behavior? Relationship between physical activity and sedentary behavior and the impact of environment connected to sedentary behavior? The study is qualitative and implemented through seven interviews with Pedagogues in the schools earlier years.

Förskolan i ett mångkulturellt samhälle : Pedagogers föreställningar kring mångkulturellt arbete på förskolan

The purpose of this study was to describe, understand and analyze the thought behind the perception amongst Pedagogues´ on multicultural work in preschools, based on an intercultural perspective. In this study, I questioned the Pedagogues´ view on the work in preschools that prepares children for a life in a multicultural society and also the way they describe the cultural challenges.The study was accomplished and questions were answered by studying current literature and previous research in the field. I also interviewed four Pedagogues from two different preschools located in separate areas.This study shows that many opinions that Pedagogues expressed in the interviews can be traced back to an ?us vs. them? perspective, in which your own culture, the Swedish one in this case, is the most critical and should receive the greatest attention in preschool.

Läsa skönlitteratur i skolan : Hur pedagoger motiverar och stimulerar alla elever

AbstractThe purpose with this study is to find out how Pedagogues, who teach in the early years of primary school, motivate and stimulate all pupils so they want to read a lot of fiction. The research also includes finding out more about why the Pedagogues work as they do. The research starts with a study of current literature which deals with how teachers should work with motivation and stimulation in school. To find out how the Pedagogues work in school I have made qualitative interviews with four Pedagogues who work in the early years of primary school. The result shows that all of the Pedagogues motivate and stimulate pupils in similar ways.

Purpose: This study examines Pedagogues? thoughts about children?s understanding of death, and their reactions to the death of a relative. The aim is also to examine Pedagogues? thoughts about their part in supporting bereaved children, and how they wish to do so. Method: Seven Pedagogues, who work with six to nine year old children, were interviewed.

Laborativ matematik : - Fem pedagogers syn på laborativ matematik

The students are usually eager to develop their mathematical learning. However, the Skolverket can see that this eagerness passes in the early years of school. A study shows that a varied mathematical education creates enthusiasm to learn, which can decrease the negative view of mathematics.The purpose of this study is to see how five Pedagogues use laboratory mathematics, their approaches to laboratory mathematics as well as to find out their role in the laboratory education. The result of the study is based on interviews with the Pedagogues, who are all teachers for students in year F-3. All of the Pedagogues work in a laboratory way, but to different extents.The study shows that the Pedagogues aim to make the mathematics as concrete and everyday as possible.

Kulturkrockar i skolan. : Hur kan pedagoger förebygga kulturkrockar i skolan?

The purpose with this essay is to contribute with knowledge on how Pedagogues in Swedish schools can prevent cultural clashes between themselves and their pupils and between pupils from different cultural backgrounds.The survey is done with qualitative interviews with three Pedagogues.The result shows the importance that the Pedagogues are positive to cultural meetings and that they acquire intercultural competence. The result also shows that the interviewed Pedagogues acquired competences through direct meeting with students and their parents, courses, lectures and literature.The conclusion of this essay is that if Pedagogues obtain more knowledge about their own and other`s culture, it would prevent cultural clashes in school.I believe that if the pedagogue teaches his/her students that there are different ways to think in the world, fewer cultural clashes would occur between the students.Key words: culture clash, education, communication.

The purpose of this study has been to examine what approach and experience Pedagogues at pre-schools, with a limited amount of nationalities, have regarding cultural promoting work in pre-schools. The concept ?cultural promoting? mainly regards the children's cultural backgrounds. The first question formulation focussed on the what the concepts ?cultural promoting? and ?cultural diversity? meant to the Pedagogues.

My framing of a question is: How perceive Pedagogues the need of special education in the preschool? It has also been an aim to investigate these four Pedagogues? opinions about the significance of communication and of the language of mathematics for students? mathematical learning.The study is based on a sociocultural perspective of Vygotskij?s. The theory implies the importance of using the language and communication for students? learning.

Barns inflytande i förskolan  : Pedagogers perspektiv

The purpose of this study was to find out what Pedagogues in preschool think when it comes to children?s influence and how they do to give the children opportunity to express their thoughts and point of views and thereby influence their situation.The literature review treats the conception of the competent child and shows that having child perspective is important in meeting children. The literature review implies that participation and influence means sensitivity to children?s expressions and that Pedagogues lets these expressions influence the activities in preschool. It is not about children always getting their ways, but that they are respected and are given space to think freely.Searching for Pedagogues? thoughts on children?s influence and how they do for giving it, I interviewed six persons, working at six different preschools.

Lekens betydelse för lärande av engelska i förskolan : Pedagogers tankar om och arbete med lek för att belysa det engelska språket

The purpose of this study is to contribute knowledge on how Pedagogues use play as a way to expose children to the English language. I chose the qualitative method of interviews to conduct my study. The objects of study were four English speaking Pedagogues at a preschool with English in their profile. This profile was a major factor when choosing where to carry out the study, as not every preschool in Sweden offers English.The interviews were conducted in English, as all four Pedagogues were native English speakers and I did not want a possible language barrier to influence the results. The questions were composed with play as a focal point and a way to expose the children to English.My findings showed that play is an important tool for children to take part of and learn English.
