Automatiserad mätning av kvalité : Varför är inte all mätningautomatiserad?
AbstractThis bachelor?s thesis at the Department of Production Engineering at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm deals with the subject of automated Metrology. The degree of automation of tasks within production has been a growing trend but the measurement of quality has not followed the same trend. The main thesis follows:What incentives are there to automate the measurement of quality in production? What factors are crucial and why are not all Metrology automated? The thesis comes along with a number of sub-queries and delimitations. The working method includes both theoretical and empirical studies.
This work aims to obtain information on diurnal variations of aerosol concentrations in thecity of Lund (Sweden) and trying to locate the origin of the aerosols long distance transports. The study shows that the aerosol concentrations varied quit strongly over the entiremeasurement period, reflecting air masses of different degrees of pollution, mainly as a resultof the diurnal rhythm of the traffics. Trajectories reveals that air masses originated inSoutheastern and Eastern Europe contains higher aerosol concentrations compared to other airmasses..
Högfrekventa tryckvariationer under de senaste århundradena
Long time-series of pressure measurements often have high quality because the early instrumentsare more or less the same as the modern ones. A time-series from Lund consisting of three dailymeasurements from 1780-1997 has been homogenised and is therefore suitable for analysingpossible influences of the enhanced greenhouse effect. According to a two-layer model of theatmosphere one finds a shift in the frequency of baroclinic instability due to an increasedtemperature gradient caused by the increasing CO2. Baroclinic instability over the Atlantic Oceanis the main cause for frontal zone production, causing cyclonic activity over the southern part ofScandinavia. Changes to the baroclinic instability would therefore be traceable in the time seriesfrom Lund.
Omega System Kalibrering: Strål X-Separation mätning och kalibrering
Micronic Laser Systems AB produces and develops machines for the photo mask production market. One of their products is the Omega machine which exposes photo masks using 5 laser beams simultaneously. It is important that the distance between the each laser beam, the x-separation, is the same. The x-separation is today measured by exposing a photo mask with a certain pattern and thereafter measured with a Metrology system. This takes to much time and it is desired to find a faster method to measure the x-separation without loosing precision. The task for this master thesis is to improve an existing measurement method which uses a calibration mask.
Utvärdering av en behandlingsperiod i varmt klimat för personer med pelvospondylit
Purpose: To evaluate how a treatment period on four weeks in a warm climate influences physical function, condition and the patient's experience of the climate effect of patients with ankylosing spondylitis. Method: 10 persons with a diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis went through four weeks of treatment on Centro Forestal Sueco, Marbella. The treatment consisted of both physical and theoretic lessons given of a rehabilitation team. All patients were examinated measured for physical function and condition before treatment, after two weeks and at the end of the treatment. To measure physical function, Timed-Stands Test, Timed Get Up and Go, The Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Metrology Index, Index of muscle function and functionestimitation of shoulder/arm were used.
Visuellt typinstrument : en metrologisk studie
Visual Type Instrument - VTI, is a tool containing a typeface and a set of geometric calculations that generates numerical data in spreadsheets. The data is determined from the typefaces visual dimensions and is used to calculate leading, type size, margins and format. The aim is to offer, for all of those working with typography and design, a practical way to manage text, image and format in relationship to visual size. Instead of using point measurements, VTI uses a new device called Edo. An Edo is the same as one twelfth of a millimetre.
