As part of an Agile developing team I have in my role as interaction designer also tried to evaluate the ?iPhone Human Interface Guidelines?. With action research I have taken actions to change the workflow and to see what there can be done to Make the guidelines more motivating to use. Action 1 tried to Make the iPhone components more available and it suceeded, action 2 tried to Make the guideline more available in whole and did not work as it was designed to do. The guidelines did not work as a source of inspiriation and I and my fellow designer distanciated us from it.

In almost every workplace today IT-systems have strong and significant roll in theeveryday work. It is therefore important that the systems have a good functionalityand that they work as an aid for the users. This thesis aims to study the systems atthe company Telge Nät and to analyse them from a usability perspective. By using thisperspective it has been obvious how difficult it is to Make improvements on usability,once the system is in place. Even other larger improvements of the systems aredifficult to Make at this stage and this is something that the users are aware of.

The mission from IKEA of Sweden was to Make a further development of their existing trolley in the FRAKTA -serial. IKEA wants that the new product would Make the opportunities better for people who don't have cars to carry their goods home easily on the bus, train or walk after their purchase.The report includes a suggestion for a new product that will fit into the existing FRAKTA -serial. The new development product will continue the same standard as the other products in the serial and it will also Make it possible for customers to carry their goods home by public transportations..

In my degree project I have focused on how to Make it easier for ambulance personnel to remove a motorcycle helmet after an accident. During my research I have interviewed ambulance personnel from different cities and a trauma surgeon to get a better understanding of how they work today and the problems they experience. Some of the problem areas are that you need a lot of force to remove the helmet, that the padding catches the ears and that the chin guard catches the face. Since ambulance personnel always assume that there is a neck injury after an accident, all these problems Make it difficult to remove the helmet safely.The result is a motorcycle helmet with a focus on safe removal after an accident, to reduce the risk of worsening a neck injury. The solution suggested is that a small part of the back of the helmet is detachable, to Make the opening larger.

The main reason for doing this kind ofproject was to find out if it was possible to Make a relatively advanced application with user friendly tools. We tested the software MIT App Inventor, and the ability to create a useful application for people who wants to get an overview of their energy intake.During the process we found out that it was possible, but minor setbacks occurred. The main idea of our vision; to Make a calculator and a registry with different kinds of food and their amount of calories, was completed quite easily. Later on, design alternatives and more advanced functions were not possible for us to Make.This might have been because of the short amount of time the project was given, but also, and more likely, because the software did not contain that kind of advanced functions. Even if there were factors that held creativity back, the basic idea was possible to form..

The purpose of the project was to Make a system that could extract data from a mobile eye tracker and Make it comparable with data from visual stimuli. The produced system was programmed in Java and provided all the necessary parts that were required to achieve the purpose. This provides a foundation for further research to determine whether the eye tracker is sufficiently accurate to diagnose Parkinson?s disease..

In my project I worked with fluorescent color and fear as a theme together. It was based on my question for what happens when you take all the lights out and highlight a fear or phobia. I wanted to experiment and explore the course of event within the surface of a picture by using this kind of paint.I worked with illustration and pattern to bind the two pictures together. The aim was to investigate what is possible with the picture as a medium and work with contrast to Make it as effective as possible. My goal was to Make one poster of each fear and to Make them work together as a series as it?s best.I asked myself many questions such as;? What happens to the surface, image and room when you use this color?? Will a new quality appear?? What happens when you mix two pictures together on a parallel level that only show in different kind of light?.

I contacted the production company Salmonfox in the hope that they would have any projects that they needed help with. It showed that Salmonfox just started up an old project that they needed to complete. They wanted my help to edit some trailers and one crowdfundingfilm for the short film called, Captain Sweden (Kapten Sverige). Salmonfox are hopefully going to use the different trailers and crowdfundingfilm to promote the short film and get help with the funding to Make a feature. The project began with a pilot study in which I made a time plan and a requirements plan, where the different requirements were set.

This report describes the process of developing a user-friendly and responsive archive website. The website is a Hi-fi prototype and was created for the company JG Communications, to serve as an archive for their customers? style guidelines. To create this website I have used HTML5 and CSS3 to Make it responsive for various computer screens. I have also used PHP and some JavaScript to Make some of the functions and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to Make design elements for the prototype.

We can see an increasing middle age population in large parts of the world. People are healthier when they retire than they were before. As people grow older, physical and mental changes occur that can Make the use of cars more complicated. The possibility to travel by car is important for many people to keep the connection with the society and to feel independent. How can Volvo cars face the needs of this growing target group?The purpose of this project is to Make a car concept that responds to those needs, it is therefore important to maintain the values of Volvo cars.

The project is about making a Re-Design of the Swedish Socialistic Newspaper ?Dagens ETC?. The background to the project is my search for commitment when I work with a specific customer or project and how importantthat commitment are?The project was from the beginning split up to three different phases. The meaning of the first phase where to Make a re-design mainly based on a interview with Johan Ehernberg, the chef editor on ETC.The second phase was a design totally made of my own idea and creative view as a Graphic Designer.I had in mind to Make the third phase based on the result of the first two phases.During phase one and two I reconsidered and decided to skip the third step and put more effort in to the two first ones.
