Studiens huvudsakliga syfte var att undersöka och förklara begreppen ?Jihad? och "heligt krig" och svara på ifall dessa begrepp kunde användas för att rättfärdiga terrorism, samt förklara den politiska islam, al-Qaida och det Muslimska Brödraskapets kopplingar till terrorism idag. Undersökningen gjordes med hjälp av kvantitativa metoder och framförallt genom litteraturstudier. Resultatet visade att det inte finns någon definitiv förklaring till begreppet Jihad, utan det finns åtminstone två sätt att tolka det på, samt att våld genom Jihad kan rättfärdigas genom att tolka och ta koranverser ur sin kontext. .

In this thesis I have done a discourse analysis of the documentary movie A Jihad for Love. A Jihad for Love came out 2007 and is directed by Parvez Sharma. The documentary movie is about homosexual Muslims and their Jihad, struggle, for love and to be accepted in a world where they are barely recognized as a group. My aim of the thesis was to see how the movie portrays the persons who are in the film and their relationship to Islam and who gets access to the religion. I have also analyzed if Islam can be used to strengthen the sexual identity or if it works in the opposite way.

Rapporten kommer att behandla definitionen av begreppet homestyling, med avseende på dess ursprung, bakgrund, tillämpning och resultat, samt se hur dess marknad och framtid ser ut. Vidare kommer rapporten visa jämförelseteorier med övriga yrken och tjänster, samt se till medias framställning av ämnet. Rapporten bygger på intervjuer med personer inom branschen, litteratur och artiklar, samt en praktisk undersökning..

En kvalitativ studie genomfördes för att studera vad som påverkar och skapar motivation till beteendeförändring hos drogmissbrukare. Studien undersökte också miljöns betydelse för att bryta ett drogmissbruk. En intervjuguide med öppna frågor skapades. Genom ett kriteriebaserat snöbollsurval kontaktades tio personer varav nio män och drogfriheten var i genomsnitt 3.2 år. Enligt drive theories är motivation en drivkraft som ger energi till att sätta igång, upprätthålla och rikta behovsrelaterade mål.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att ur ett socialkonstruktivistiskt perspektiv göra en jämförande textanalys av Fazlur Rahmans och Taha Jabir al-Alwanis tolkningar av islam utifrån teman som bl.a. rör deras syn på tidigare tolkningsmetoder och hur de uppfattar muslimers situation idag. Rahman och al-Alwani har olika utbildningsbakgrund men har båda arbetat i U.S.A. De förespråkar förnuftstolkning för att nå vad de anser vara Koranens egentliga budskap och be-tonar en medvetenhet om att historisk och social kontext måste beaktas i tolkningsprocessen. Analysen visar att båda betonar individens ansvar, plikt och engagemang men att deras upp-fattning om enskilda muslimers åtagande skiljer sig något åt.

Fö?rutom det vill den redogö?ra fö?r vilka uttryck och teman som går att uppfatta i dessa filmer. Min ambition är inte att göra några detaljstudier av filmerna, utan att analysera, lyssna på retoriken och titta på bildspråket i delar av det material som publicerats av Islamiska staten.
