The aim of this essay is to do a queer reading of the early Swedish pentecostal movement, with a special focus on the women within the movement. The main empirical material is Gustaf Emil Söderholms Den svenska pingstväckelsens historia part I and II, published 1927 and 1928, in addition to this a selection of articles from the Swedish pentecostal magazine Evangelii Härold has been used. The theoretical framework consists of Judith Butler's concepts of heterosexual matrix and performativity, as well as Interpellation, and of Adrienne Rich's concept of a lesbian continuum. The analysis shows that the evangelist role, as well as the charismatic practices of the movement, made it possible for women to take the position as leader and teacher of congregations, and thereby take up a male subject position. The role as evangelist also made possible a life outside of the heterosexual norm, within the lesbian continuum..

In this essay I analyze Karin Boye?s first novel, Astarte, focusing on her views concerning norms,ideals and female liberation. The novel is written in a tone of irony, allowing for many of thecharacters to be viewed as caricatures. The theories and methods I use are drawn from genderstudies and queer theory. Queer theorist Judith Butler, and the concepts of performativity, Interpellation, genealogy and the heterosexual matrix, are of central importance for my analysis.

En Tv-serie kan spegla samtiden och vad som ingår i den. Serien Portkod 1321 riktar sig till ungdomar och ger genom karaktärer, miljöer och händelser en bild av synen på ungdomar. En central roll i bilden är hur identiteter skildras och skapas. Utgångspunkten i uppsatsen är socialstrukturalismen och teorier om genus, representation och Interpellation. Utifrån Laclau och Mouffes diskursteori och begrepp har en totalanalys av Portkod 1321 genomförts, där centrala byggstenar i skapandet av identiteterna stockholmare, tjej och kille identifierats.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att analysera i vilken utsträckning och på vilket sätt som de nationella genusmålen i den verksamma läroplanen Lpo94 har implementerats i två enskilda skolor i Malmö stad. I och med detta har vi genomfört intervjuer med en utvecklingssekreterare på Barn- och Ungdomsavdelningen och två biträdande rektorer i två valda skolorna.Våra teori har bestått av begreppet ?Interpellation? som ett analytiskt verktyg såsom reviderat av Judith Butler (1993) tillsammans med Tom Christensen m.fl:s (2005) tre organisationsteoretiska perspektiv; ett instrumentellt, kultur- och mytperspektiv. Metoderna vi använt oss av är diskursanalys som analysmetod och kvalitativ textanalys och intervjuer (innefattande fallstudier) som arbetsmetoder.Analysen visar att de nationella genusmålen som formuleras i Lpo94 instrumentellt sett existerar i folks medvetanden på kommunal såväl som lokal nivå. Även i det fall där man inte har något medvetet genusarbete så har man tillgång till en genusmässig begreppsapparat.

Employable humanists. A qualitative study on humanist students' views on employability.The crisis of the humanities is a controversial debate in the media and within academic settings. Because of lack of request for humanists in the labor market, the question of humanistic skills and employability is becoming increasingly important. The concept of employability importance not only echoes within the economic discussions, but also on everyday agenda in the academic world and takes a large part in the communication between the university and the students. It is therefore important to get answers to the question whether there is conformity in the interpretation of this concept between the university and the students.The aim of this desk study is to examine how the concept of employability has its significance in the academic communication and how the responsibility for employability is portrayed.

This MA thesis analyzes how the protagonists and the narrative structure relates to ?the Child? as a linguistic/cultural construction in Mare Kandre?s early authorship (1984-1991). A thematic of children portraits defines this period of Kandre?s writing, which consits of the following works: In a Different Country (1984), The Annunciation (1986), Bübin?s Kid (1987), The Burning Tree (1988) and Aliide, Aliide (1991).Linguistic components, such as the word ?child?, the name ?Kid? and a reconstruction of the concept of childhood, holds an actuate position in these narratives when they first appear in direct relation to the protagonists. This suggests how generally accepted categories and concepts consciously are at work in Kandre?s writings.

This study is a discourse analyse of texts concerning the criminalizing of bestiality andonthological questions around it. This essay has been written as an qualitative analyse of three media texts: Swedish and Danish animal protection laws, Interpellation of criminalizing bestiality in Swedish Parliament as well as the discussion forum, "Nordisk Zoofil Forum".The study indicates that bestiality can be understood as inacceptable through discourses about normality, naturalness, moral, sexual pleasure or discourses which comprehend sexual abnormalities as a consequence of each other. On the other side bestiality can be understood as unaccebtable through discourses about sexual needs, sexual identities, love or sexual pleasure. Also the idea about one practising bestiality seems to be gendered as a male person..

Denna uppsats avser att utforska förskolebarns köns- och subjektskapande i och i förhållande till lekar med ett actiontema, som Superman, tjyv och polis och transformers. Genom deltagande observation har jag samlat empiri som jag med feministiskt poststrukturellt perspektiv och diskursanalys analyserat. Studien går i motstånd mot en uppfattning om dessa actionlekar som sprungna ur ett maskulint behov. Genom att titta på hur tecknet ?kille? kopplas ihop med andra tecken, visar studien hur actionlekarna istället går att förstå som en arena där ting och företeelser konstrueras som maskulina.

The artistic subjects disappeared from the obligatory curriculum of the Swedish secondary school in 2011. The purpose of this work is to analyze to which extent the new curriculum Lgy11 is based on scientific results when it comes to the role the aesthetics were given. This paper analyzes the documents that preceded the reform, such as Government Reports and Interpellation Debates, for a start. It continues with an analysis of an interdisciplinary group of researchers, whose scientific work include research of impacts of art and art education in ordinary education and learning in a more holistic perspective. Finally an analysis of the curriculum itself is made.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vilka handlingsmöjligheter och motiv som knyts till individen i Världsnaturfonden WWF:s hemsidematerial om klimatförändringarna, samt utvärdera hinder för dessa handlingsmöjligheters förverkligande. Den huvudsakliga undersökningsmetoden består av Norman Faircloughs tredimensionella modell för diskursanalys i kombination med begreppen Interpellation och subjektpositionering, hämtade från Ernesto Laclau och Chantal Mouffes diskursteori. Övriga teoretiska utgångspunkter utgörs av nedslag i i Ulrich Becks teori om "reflexiv modernisering", samt perspektivet "governmentality". Undersökningen visar att materialet huvudsakligen konstruerar positionerna privatperson, företagare och politiker. Privatpersonens handlingsmöjligheter består i att inkorporera en klimatrationalitet i sin vardag samt förmå politiker och företagare att agera.

The aim of this study is to with the help of my data, conduct statistic analyses about animal welfare mistakes and scarities, as a preventive measure for the public sector point of view and how farmers handle their animals in these cases, when and how these mistakes and scarities are likely to appear and in this way perhaps manage the existing problems. The aim of using judicial decisions of banning ownership and caretaking of animals according to the 29 § is that this judicial decision is the outermost fortification of animal welfare. In November 1938 the pro tempore investigator handed over a report with a proposition according the animal welfare legislation. Pro tempore proposed that the court should in some cases, be able to order a person guilty of cruelty against animals to a ban of owning or taking care of animals. This proposal unfortunately was turned down. The question about introduce a ban against owning or taking care of animals into the Swedish animal welfare legislation was again discussed in April 1967 at an Interpellation debate in the parliaments second chamber.

Undersökningens syftet har varit att studera hur politiker uttalar i den politiska debatt om elever som går ur grundskolan utan att nå målen i matematik. Om det är så att allt fler eleverna går ur grundskolan utan att nå målen i matematik: Vad beror det i så fall på? Vad har politikerna i så fall för åtgärder emot detta? Hur står sig svenska elevers kunskaper i jämförelse med elever i andra länder?Studien är utformad som en kvalitativt inriktad textanalys med hermeneutiska inslag. Det empiriska materialet utgörs av riksdagens protokoll från sex debatter som innehåller 147 sidor debatter och Interpellationer mellan åren 2000 till 2008.Diagrammen i detta arbete visar elever som inte uppnått målen dvs. erhållit betyget IG i matematik mellan åren 2003 till 2007.
