This work is about the expanded conception of text and takes off in the use of this expression in the high school curriculum. The work begins with a theory chapter, where a few different definitions of text are the basis for reasoning about factors which can have contributed to an expansion of the conception. Hereby other important expressions, related to the expanded conception of text, as hypertext, multimedia and intermediality, are brought up. Further, is examined empirically how the expanded conception of text is interpreted, rhetorically and practically, by a few teachers in the High School. Finally, covered scientist?s theories are discussed and compared with the concluded empiric data.The study shows however, that the expanded conception of text in the curriculum has not become a conception for the teachers who were interviewed.

The objective of this thesis is to examine which form value-adding qualities specific for the Web take and to what extent they exist in a selection of electronic scholarly editions of literary works. The examination was concentrated on the qualities hypertextuality, interactivity and hypermediality. Besides extent and form, the research questions focused on whether or not the form of the editions correspond to theories and guidelines about how electronic scholarly editions should be designed to generate an added value from a scholarly point of view. The empirical approach was qualitative and the selection consisted of 31 editions. They were examined according to theories about the value-adding features of the qualities.

Wikipedia i undervisning

Syftet med denna undersökning är att studera svensklärares och samhällsvetenskapslärares förhåll-ningssätt till Wikipedia och därmed belysa en del av de utmaningar som skolan ställs inför det rå-dande medielandskapet. Frågeställningarna är inriktade på lärares attityder och resonemang kring Wikipedia, samt vilka konsekvenser lärarna anser att användningen av det får sin i undervisning. Eventuella skillnader mellan svensklärares och samhällsvetenskapslärares förhållningssätt gentemot Wikipedia tas också upp. Metoden för undersökningen är kvalitativa intervjuer. Dessa genomfördes med fyra lärare, två svensklärare och två samhällsvetenskapslärare, från en och samma gymnasieskola. Resultatet ger en bild av hur diskursen kring Wikipedia kan se ut i skolan och hur de olika lärarna resonerar kring det.

Det behornade ansiktet En transtextuell analys mellan Hjalmar Söderbergs Jahves eld och andra Moseboken

The aim of this study was to analyze the transtextual relationship between Hjalmar Söderberg's Jahves eld (The Fire of Yahweh, 1918) and the Book of Exodus. A limitation was set to just focus on the theme regarding the horned face of Moses, which Söderberg extensively discussed in his book, both through narrative and commentary. The methodological and theoretical approach could best be described as a qualitative text analysis where Gérard Genette's model of five types of transtextual relationships (intertextuality, paratextuality, metatextuality, architextuality and hypertextuality) was used in order to systematically classify the various relationships and in a thorough way relate the texts to each other.The analysis shows that the transtextual relationships are many and varied, and some appears to be more relevant to the study than others. Due to the composition of Jahves eld, its first part (?I österland, i fjärran tid?, most easily described as a paraphrase and pastiche of the Book of Exodus) can be identified as a hypertext to the Book of Exodus, while the second part (?Markels försvar?) is rather a metatext to both the first part and the Book of Exodus.
