The thesis objective is to examine whether there is a scientific link between the lack of Housing supply and growth. The thesis also intends to identify solutions for increased Housing construction, for instance by examining the conditions for a greater regional perspective and influence on the region's Housing supply. The thesis empirical study is based on semi-structured interviews with representatives from the Government, municipalities and the Housing industry.In Sweden, research on the relationship between Housing shortages and growth has not been conducted to that extent it can be said to exist scientific evidence regarding the growth threat. However, in Britain and the U.S, empirical studies show that a lack of Housing supply has hindered growth through negative impact on countries' gross domestic product.

The thesis also seeks to discuss its findings using theory concerning the implementation of policy and the general planning situation for Swedish municipalities today. The result of the analysis shows that most plans fail to regulate most of the content suggested in the policy for Housing supply, particularly regarding aspects such as pricing, type of Housing and type of ownership. The result also points towards a relationship regarding the prevalence of municipal land contracts and compatibility to policy for Housing supply as well as a connection between how extensive the plans are in their proposed land use and their compatibility with policy for Housing supply.

The aim of this study was to examine the view of social service workers on the secondary Housing market based upon their work with social investigations regarding people with a difficult substance abuse. The foundation of this study rests upon a phenomenon, which according to other scholars, occurs in the secondary Housing market in Sweden. The secondary Housing market consists of a multitude of Housing projects that social services provide for people who are homeless. The phenomenon is that the secondary Housing market contains a number of demands aimed at the clients who live in these Housing projects. Claw diseases are common diseases in modern dairy production. They are painful for the cow and costly for the producer. Differences in the prevalence of claw disease depending on Housing system have previously been observed. A comparison of group housing and individual housing for dairy bulls kept for breeding

This study was conducted at VikingGenetics' bull breeding station in Falkenberg, Sweden. The bulls waiting for the results of their progeny testing at this station are either kept in group Housing or individual Housing. Since both of these Housing systems have advantages and disadvantages, it was in the interest of VikingGenetics to know which of these Housing systems is the best. The aim of this study was to investigate the welfare of the bulls in these two Housing systems through behavioural observations and the use of activity monitors. I have conducted a review on four countries in Scandinavia and the goal was to create a better understanding about what has caused homelessness in this countries. The result shows that the causes of homelessness can be explained by a variety of reasons. The most common causes of homelessness were related to mental illness and drug abuse. There where also other causes of homelessness, which was considered normal in Scandinavia.
