Our environment affect us, not least gardens. By practising the ancient Chinese art feng shui, one could find tools how to create Harmony and balance in gardens. By paying attention to different energies working with colours, shapes and materials one can create a nice garden with good feng shui. The philosophy, however, includes much more than what plants or what hard materials to choose in the garden. It describes different energies, the movement of energies, which we can learn to live in Harmony with.

I denna uppsats studeras realismens framställning i filmskapandet, dels genom visuella tekniker men även genom handling- och ämnesmässiga val. Studien fokuserar på tre filmer som alla är regisserade och skrivna av filmskaparen Harmony Korine, dessa filmer är: Gummo (1997), Julien Donkey-Boy (1999) och Trash Humpers (2009).För att studera filmernas framställning av realism utifrån syftet med studien diskuteras och appliceras teorier angående ämnet från bland annat John Orr, Robert Stam och Geoff King. Eftersom syftet med studien är att studera realismen utifrån de specifika val som Korine har gjort i filmskapandet diskuteras även idén om en auteur. Både teorierna ifrån Orr och King är grundade i auteurteorin. King har även en utgångspunkt i den amerikanska independentfilmen som Harmony Korine är en aktiv filmskapare inom.I analysen diskuteras sedan Gummo, Julien Donkey-Boy och Trash Humpers separat och med hjälp av de framlagda teorierna om realism argumenterar analyserna olika sätt som filmerna framställer realism genom de visuella samt de handling- och ämnesmässiga valen..

Modellen Harmony of Efforts bygger på erfarenheter från FN-operationer mellan 1960 och 1990 talen och erbjuder ett alternativt sätt att tänka runt civil-militärt samarbete.Syftet med den här studien är dels att undersöka på vilket sätt erfarenheter från counterinsurgency operationerna i Afghanistan ter sig i ljuset av modellen Harmony of Efforts modell, och därefter hur modellen med hjälp av nämnda erfarenheter skulle kunna vidareutvecklas.Fyra olika Provincial Reconstruction Teams (PRT) jämförs i en kvalitativ fallstudie där undersökningsmaterialet utgörs av andra vetenskapliga texter kompletterat med några intervjuer med personal från fältet.Resultatet pekar på stora skillnader i tillämpningen av PRT-konceptet, att en tydlig arbetsfördelning bidrar till framgångsrikt samarbete samt att småskaligt arbete på gräsrotsnivå är att föredra framför storskaliga projekt. Studien visar dessutom att modellen Harmony of Efforts i stora drag håller mycket väl för att analysera civil-militärt samarbete inom ramen för en counterinsurgency operation..

  The purpose of this paper is to exam the philosophical development of Emanuel Swedenborg's doctrine of correspondence and to note some of the more important parallels between Swedenborg's doctrine and the three contemporary most debated theories concerning the mind-body problem. These three theories was pre-established Harmony, its opponent physical influx and finally occasionalism. Especially occasionalism has close connections to Descartes' dualism, but neither pre-established Harmony or physical influxus, which in some ways can be dated before Descartes, would have looked the same, if it were not for the Cartesian way of thinking. Also Swedenborg initially inherited major influences from Descartes and that is the first approach in this paper. From there on the paper follows the development of the doctrine of correspondence and the parallels according Swedenborg's more contemporary philosophical writers, until Swedenborg gets to a point where he underwent a profound spiritual crisis and turned his focus on an all together theological approach. .

The aim of   the study has been to examine the duality that I seemed to find in Karin   Broos works, primarily on the basis of her renditions of nature. The   objective is to study the duality on various plans and to examine which   traces of Intertextuality that may exist.In the study of the duality   I have taken note of how nature is presented in terms of style and form, as   well as that I have seeked cultural references pictorial and symbolic. I have   also examined the images with reference to Intertextuality. The following   questions has been applied during the work:  How is nature produced in the paintings?  What place occupies nature in relation to the people, in the works?  What is being communicated by nature's participation in the works?As a method, and as a   tool for analysis and interpretation of selected works, I have chosen to use   Panofskys iconological interpretative method. As a guide to seek relations of   intertextuality the theories of  Julia   Kristeva has been useful, which  includes thoughts  that new images are created or re-created   in relation to other images all the time and in new contexts.As a result of the   study I have found some kind of expression of balance, though it did not   seemed to look that way from the beginning.

As a vocalist, Casey Moir wants more than to just express what is written on the page or that which the Harmony allows. In other words, this thesis enlightens the question:?How suitable is SOA to organize the enterprise who will meet a constantly changing andheterogenic business environment?.The thesis presents a model where an efficient organization must be agile to be able to actquickly in the business environments with constantly changing desires, needs, expectations,desires etc. According to the same model a Service Oriented Architecture organizes theenterprise elements such as processes, resources, competences, responsibilities, informationsystems etc.

Umbrella organizations, organizations that have other organizations as members, are in previous research described as arenas of conflicts with problematic decision-making and contradictory parallel action towards political decision-makers. However, the research within this subject is limited, and therefore the aim of this paper is to add knowledge to how such organizations in fact work. After conducting a case study at the trade association ESTOC this thesis challenge previous statements about umbrella organizations and conclude that there, under certain circumstances, may exist Harmony within an umbrella organizations. The main implication, thus, is that we have to readdress umbrella organizations in quite another way to be able to make a more realistic interpretation of collaborations in umbrella organizations..

Happiness is often considered our ultimate goal in life. This essay explores the political im- plications of this view, through the critique of happiness found in the works of Simone de Beauvoir and Sara Ahmed. Ahmed and Beauvoir consider happiness to be harmful as a po- litical goal, since it tends to diminish dimensions of power and conflict in favor of Harmony, and is not compatible with a political philosophy based on freedom or liberation. Happiness is often confused with the ethical Good, but this essay argues that happiness does not ne- cessarily entail good things. My ethnographic study in a camp site with participation observations, interviews and analysis have results in facts that show why.The most common camper is the house owner with average income. And the choice of the camp site depend on the security and the service that the camp site offered. The camp site was controlled and the campers controlled each other.

Title: An encounter with an unknown piece of music. This essay describes the mechanisms involved in musical interpretation, by studying a score and listening to a recording. I have tried to map processes dealing with listening and score reading through an experiment, in which students from the Malmö Academy of Music were presented with a novel piece of music. I have made some conclusions, for instance it seems as though there is a connection in the interpretation between musical complexity and tempo, and a connection between dynamics and pitch, moreover that the participants in this study seem to be affected by the interpretational practice at the Malmö Academy of Music. The study is qualitative in its design both regarding data collection and interpretation of data.

The nurse has a significant role in the care of the patient and in his/her experience of life. Aim The purpose of this study is to examine the quality of life, from a nurse perspective. Method The text analysis was carried out with qualified attempts, of a book, "Quality of life a challenge for the nurse" (in Swedish) by T. Rustoen, a nurse who also worked as a teacher in Norway.

The purpose of this study is to find out how some Swedish preschool teacher discussing how children's Swedish colloquial interaction can be enhanced in the free play. In this case where children are aged three to five.My research questions in the study are:-          What type of free play do preschool teachers talk about in relation to children's Swedish colloquial development?-          What do preschool teachers say about child's colloquial interaction?-           How do preschool teachers reason regarding in what environment children?s colloquial interaction occurs?In my study I have used an interview with elements of a visual method called The Diamond. The approach is that the participants in the interview will be enhanced to discussing about a wise certain number of images. These images are then to be ranked accordingly with a specific theme and terms.If a child has difficult to speak, you can take help of  the interest the child has, the child can tell you and the other children what he or she know about the interest.
