In this essay I have chosen to take a closer look at Gold figure foils (Swedish ?guldgubbar?), find their context and analyze it. I have analyzed some earlier studies about Gold figure foils that were found in Scandinavia.The focus of my study is based on the locations of the findings. Another important aspect is to discuss if the encountered Gold figure foils that were folded and cut looked like that due to intentional motives or not.My conclusion is that when it comes to the locations of the findings they are mostly found in houses irrespective of if it´s in a posthole, wall or house foundation.The other conclusion is that the Gold figure foils could have intentionally been manipulated before they ended up in the ground..

This paper deals with evaluating 3D-bootstrap for the mining company New Boliden in an attempt to revise their current method of calculating average Gold riches in different areas. The purpose is to find one-sided 3D-bootstrap confidence bound of the average Gold riches. There lacks well-defined theory behind using 3D-bootstrap, in this paper the variogram is used as an estimate of dependencies between the observations, and the block length is chosen to be higher than this estimate. In aid of this, a simulated data material is conducted to check the validity of 3D-bootstrap in a controlled area where the theoretical value is known. Syftet med denna rapport är att undersöka hur stor skadeverkan och stoppeffekt den nya ammunitionen, SPEER Gold Dot, har i jämförelse med den gamla, Norma SÄK. Vi vill även belysa hur viktigt valet av ammunition är för tredje person och polisen sett ur ett säkerhetsperspektiv. Eftersom detta ämne är så pass nytt har det mesta av materialet, som vi tagit del av, kommit från utlåtande, rapporter media etc. Vi har utifrån materialet valt att begränsa oss till endast tre frågeställningar, vilken effekt/skadeverkan har den nya ammunitionen mot den gamla ammunitionen, vad talar för och emot den nya ammunitionen, varför har man bytt till den nya ammunitionen och inte behållit den gamla? att argumentera mot en del av medias rubriker och den viktigaste av dem alla är om den nya ammunitionen strider mot Haagkonventionens eller inte.

Denna uppsats är ett förarbete för att formulera ett protokoll för provtagning och för bedömning av hygienstatus av ytvatten som ska användas för bevattning av frilandsgrödor. Studiens syfte var att beskriva hygienstatus hos ytvatten med hjälp av heterotrofa organismer vid 22°C, totalantal koliforma bakterier, fekala koliforma bakterier, Escherichia coli, fekala streptokocker och Salmonella spp. Erhållna resultat jämfördes med tyska DIN 19650 och kanadensiska Water Quality Criteria for Microbiological Indicators. Försöket gjordes i två odlingar och för varje odling genomfördes två provtagningsserier. En serie bestod av fem provtagningstillfällen vilka genomfördes inom en 30-dagarsperiod.

This is a case study of the advertising campaign ?Guld till alla? (Gold to Everyone) embarked upon by Spendrups Bryggeri AB in a bid to promote Norrlands Guld, during the period 2004. The approach used by Spendrups will be compared with theories about communication planning, communication strategies, target group definition and how to create effective advertising. The main purpose of the comparison is to find which central elements that made the campaign successful. A comparative thesis to study precious metals impact on a portfolio, during a long period of time, from the fourth quarter of 1986 to the third quarter of 2012. Five different portfolios are compared; three of the portfolios containing one of the following precious metals, Gold, silver and platinum, the fourth portfolio contain all precious metals and shares, and the fifth portfolio containing only shares which is represented of OMXS30. This is done to determine the portfolio that generates the most return in relation to the least risk with the help of historical prices. The aim of this work is to take the first step into a development process, with the intention to find a way of making prehistoric soil fertility a variable in archaeological landscape analysis. A pilot study is performed on the Mälar basin area, where four topographical and geological factors are reclassified and then combined, resulting in a map which expresses a relative indication of agriculture potential. The map is then compared to the distribution of Migration Period graves and Gold finds. This, however, does not mean that the technique is tied to a certain prehistoric period. Because the work is intrinsically experimental, the technique as a whole is finally discussed and evaluated, and suggestions of improvements and further studies are made..

In this study we have analysed from an intersectional perspective two textbooks Historia 1b and Progress Gold A which are purposed to be used as teaching material in Swedish schools in the subjects of History and English. Our question and reason for doing the analysis is to emphasise and make the variety of women in the books visible in order to compare that variety to the one that is demanded by the Swedish curriculum. The analysis is made from an ideology critical perspective and contains quantitative elements. Our conclusion is that the material contains both excluding and including features. Some intersectional categories are well represented while others, like functionality and religion, are not.
