?Om jag kan, kan vem som helst? : En kvalitativ studie om olika vägar ut ur missbruket
The purpose with this studie was to examine how individuals with experience of a long-term drugabuse describe their transformationprocess, and if this process has contributed to a change in their selfdescription. The studie was delimit to examine the transformationprocess, not in relation to what sort of abuse the informants had, or in relation to gender. The studie anwered questions concerning motivation to stop abusing, how the informants started the drugcareer, and how life as an abuser is described. In the studie qualitative method was used, five semi-structured interviewes were made with individuals who had a long-term addiction in the past. Symbolic Interactionism was the theoretical frame of referense that was used for analyse.
Sjuksköterskans upplevelser av "hundassisterad" omvårdnad på äldreboenden.
Syfte: Syftet med studien var att beskriva sjuksköterskans upplevelser av att använda sig av hundassisterad omvårdnad i svensk äldreomsorg. Metod: Intervjuer gjordes med legitimerade sjuksköterskor som hade erfarenhet av sällskapshundar och utbildade hundar inom äldreomsorgen. Resultat: Sjuksköterskorna upplevde att hundassisterad äldreomsorg inverkade positivt på flera plan, både bland de äldre och för personalen. Sjuksköterskorna upplevde att en hund berikade vardagen på äldreboendet och att hunden var till praktisk nytta i sjuksköterskans omvårdnadsarbete, framförallt i arbetet med patienter drabbade av demens. Hundassisterad omvårdnad upplevdes medföra ett ökat välbefinnande, minska stress och aggression, ge ökad glädje och matlust samt stimulera aktivitet, både fysiskt, mentalt och verbalt.

Life in addiction and what it is like to quitA qualitative study based on men and womens emotional Experienses and social relationshipsWomen in addiction are faced by harder social attitudes then men, which could be an explanation to the fact that, in comparison to men, less women are seen in addiction. That women experience stronger feelings of shame makes them inclined to hide their addiction and this in turn can increase the feeling of shame. The objective of this essay was to, with a starting-point in theory and essential concepts as social relationships and emotions, gain knowledge about emotional experiences and momentous events for men and women during time in addiction and when quitting. More specifically, the aim of the study was to answer the following questions; What is life in addiction and quitting, regarding social relationships and emotional experiences as pride and shame in interaction with people who are important to the individual, like? Do the situations women are in, and the experiences they have, differ from those of men? Do these social relationships and emotional experiences influence the addition and the quitting? In the study six persons have been interviewed, three men and three women who are all quitting, or trying to quit, their drug and/or alcohol addiction.
