Dialogen som skapar förändring

The purpose of this study is to gain increased understanding of managers´ attitudes and knowledge about its role in the internal organizational communication. We want to understand how managers define Dialogue and further understand the role that Dialogue plays for managers. We want to see whether the different managers highlight some common foundations or differences in the Dialogue. With the help of the following two questions we wish to understand managers´ relationship to the Dialogue within the internal organizational communication: -What meaning does the Dialogue have for managers in the private sector?-What role does the Dialogue play in the internal organizational communication according to these managers? We use qualitative interviews as the data collection method of our material. Using material from the interviews and mainly in accordance with William Isaacs? theory of Dialogue, wecan answer our questions. The result shows that managers' views on the Dialogue in many cases are similar to Isaacs? vision but differs in part. The managers believe that employees are there to contribute to the company.

Introduction: In Skaraborg, a standardized Dialogue is being held since 2005 about dietand physical activity, during the 1,5- and 3-years health control at the Child Health Carecentre (CHCC). The aim of the Dialogue is to prevent overweight and obesity amongchildren. Aim: The aim of this study is to examine the parents? experience of thisDialogue, and what they perceive that the Dialogue has contributed with after sixmonths. Methods: Qualitative collection of data through 11 interviews heldimmediately after the Dialogue, in addition to five telephone interviews conducted six toeight months after the Dialogue.

Med ordet som verktyg - En studie om dialogen som påverkansverktyg för institutionella ägare

Socially Responsible Investments (SRI) and Active Ownership have become increasingly important concepts when it comes to the corporate governance of investors today. Institutional owners highlight the importance of engaging in Dialogue, in their pursuit to influence the companies to become sustainable. However, stakeholders and academia are requesting more insight into the workings of these Dialogues, concerning their purpose, design and function. This study attempts to increase the existing knowledge of Dialogue as a tool for active engagement, used by institutional investors in Sweden. The performed study is based on interviews with five public and private Swedish institutional investors, an SRI consultant firm as well as representatives from two NGOs.

På vandring mot handling : Utbyte av perspektiv i landskapet

Sustainable Development is often described as a balance between ecological, economical and social aspects. Between these exists a complicated interaction that creates conflicts in the planning of the landscape. We see a growing need for a functional interaction between values and interest and an understanding for different perspectives. Cooperation and Dialogue are key ideas with the focus on cooperation rather than the goal. There is a lack of forum for Dialogue and cooperation within municipalities where a great knowledge and competence are gathered.

"EFFEKTIVARE PLANPROCESSER - BOSTÄDER PÅ BEKOSTNAD AV MEDBORGARINFLYTANDE?" : - Förändringar i PBL ur en demokratiaspekt

The aim of this thesis is to examine whether law reforms in the detailed planning process can be an aspect that gets in conflict with the citizens rights to participate in the Swedish planning through Dialogue, and how five chosen municipalities are working with citizen participation. To be able to answer the aim of the thesis a literature study and five semi-structured interviews was performed in purpose to get wide-ranging information from municipal officials working with detailed planning handling. Law changes that aims to make the detailed planning process more efficient has been implemented partly to satisfy the needs of dwellings since the detailed planning process among master builders seems to be slow and inefficient, which to the them means higher costs. The requirement on having a detailed planning program was taken away when the new planning law was adopted year 2011. The planning program was including a moment of citizen Dialogue. The case studied municipalities have not been affected in this law change arguing that it?s still possible to bring a program if needed.

Lärande möten : En fallstudie om hur alla involverade parter:elever, vårdnadshavare och pedagoger uppfattar

The purpose of this case study is to see how all the involved parties; students, custodians and teachers look upon ?A meeting of learning ? personal development Dialogue that is led by children and young people?, on a school south of Stockholm. Our questions at issue were to see what the students had learned from their personal development Dialogue, if the custodians had received all the information they expected to get from a personal development Dialogue, and last but not least if all the involved parties; students, custodians and teachers, wanted to continue with this model? We used interviews and paper questionnaires to collect answers to our case study and the questions at issue. In both the interviews and paper questionnaires we could see that an overwhelming majority had a positive opinion about students leading and ?owning? their personal development Dialogue, especially the students themselves.

This master?s thesis presents experiences from an evaluation of AdApt, a multi- modal, conversational Dialogue system, using PARADISE, PARAdigm for Dialogue System Evaluation, a general framework for evaluation. The purpose of this master?s thesis was to assess PARADISE as an evaluation tool for such a system. An experimental study with 26 subjects was performed.

There is an ongoing discussion about the declining quality of the teaching in the swedish school. This essay is a contribution to that discussion. It suggests that a certain kind of Dialogue is necessary for the quality of the teaching to recover, and thereby also the quality of the students? education.The author turns firstly to philosophers of Dialogue and finds in their works views appropriate to use when facing the situation of the swedish school. With the ideas of Martin Buber the author redefines the students as creatures of relationships.

This article elucidates the professional Dialogue between student teacher and supervisor and it´s conditions as a supervising method in professional academic education. The aim of the study is to discuss how students articulate the conditions of the professional Dialogue and the positioning of themselves and supervisors are made. The student taped discussions were analysed. Inspired by positioning theory we analysed the students discussions in order to interpret and elevate patterns showing the conditions concerning the professional Dialogues for the students teacher education. The main findings are the students positioning themselves as listener and the supervisor is positioned as communicator of rights, obligations and oughtness.

The possibility and the right to be able to communicate with municipalities or other state companies and politicians are natural for the Swedish citizens. However, they may be unaware that this communication process is called citizen Dialogue.Today there are so many ways to communicate; one-way communication is not possible in the same way as before. It is above all social media such as Facebook, which has opened the gates one could only dream of.  Via a medium such as Facebook creates a strong citizen Dialogue in which the municipality and citizens communicate openly and ask questions and give response.The purpose of this study is to find out how Karlstad?s municipality uses, and maintains, citizen Dialogue on Facebook. What are the guidelines and how do the municipality use these? In this paper a qualitative expert interview and a qualitative content analysis has been used to answer the purpose of the essay.

Analys av en lärares sätt att kommunicera och föra en dialog på : Beroende på vilken klass som undervisades

The main problem that is seen in schools is that teachers sometimes don not reflect on what kind of pupils they have in the class and therefore do not adapt their way of communicate, which can lead to confusion and misunderstandings from the pupils side.In this essay I have study a teacher?s way to communicate with her pupils depending of what kind of class she has. But there are also a theory from Bahktin were he points out how to succeed with a Dialogue in a classroom.The conclusion in this essay is that communication and Dialogue in the classrooms are important regardless what kind of pupils you as a teacher have.

The drama of Kristina Lugn?s Kvinnorna vid Svansjön (The women by the Swan Lake) takes place in the Dialogue and language; the same ambiguous language that is found in Lugn?s poetry. In this essay I examine how meaning and dramatic tension is created in the Dialogue of Kvinnorna vid Svansjön.I describe the play, using concepts from various drama theories. However, the most important concepts of classical drama theory such as "story" and "plot" are not really applicable. This is because of the contradictory information given in the Dialogue.

This report presents the initaitvies made by teachers in form of questions during four lessons in a highschool class. A class in senior highschool was filmed during six hours with four different teachers. The number of questions and other initiatives were counted. The Dialogue was transcribed with CA regarding examples from questioning and Dialogue. The study examined how many closed(open and rhetorical questions the teacher initiate.
