The purpose of this study is to investigate what teachers in preschool thinks of play and how they use play to create learning. The aim of this thesis is to Describe and analyse the development of libraries on Tjörn, an island on the Swedish west coast. I have divided the thesis in two parts, one in which I will Describe the libraries development between the years 1873 to 1952 in the municipality of Stenkyrka and one in which I will Describe the libraries development between the years 1976 and 1985 in the municipality of Tjörn. The study is mainly based on written materials and a theoretic model will also be used in which I apply three factors, society, the libraries economy and individual actors on the library activity. The libraries in Stenkyrka during the early period were dependent of public grant from the state for their survival and the libraries were undeveloped. The society around them was poor and hardly any money or assistants came from the municipality.

The aim of this study is investigating how some Elementary School teachers of special classes Describe how they use iPad as an educational tool when teaching Swedish. To find out I have carried out an interview investigation. I have analyzed results using theoretical concepts from the sociocultural perspective, scaffolding and artefacts.The cummulative result shows that teachers Describe that they practice linguistic consciousness and that pupils are trained in writing Swedish in this subject. The aim of this study is to create a deeper understanding of the disease known as eating disorder. The study is based on four autobiographies written by individuals who themselves have been affected by eating disorders. These stories have been studied using a narrative approach. To achieve the purpose, the study is focused on what participants Describe as the factors underlying the onset of the disease, the factors that participants Describe maintained their eating disorders, as well as what is Described to be the factors responsible for their recovery.
