To be able to adopt, the future adoptive parents must participate in parental education and have a home investigation done. The home investigation is extensive and great Demands are made on the parents. The purpose with this study was to get an insight and understanding in the parents? thoughts and feelings about the Demands and expectations that are made on them during an international adoption. To answer this, we used these questions: Which Demands and expectations are made on the future adoptive parents by the home investigator and the parental educator? How do the future adoptive parents experience the Demands and expectations that are made on them before an adoption? Does the apprehension about the Demands and expectations differ between the future adoptive parents and the home investigator contrary the parental educator? We used a qualitative method, interviewing four couples of parents, one home investigator and one parental educator.

This essay is about how newly graduated teachers experience their first year in teaching. The main focus is linked to the theory about the pedagogy triangle of Bermuda. It involves two dimensions with six main aspects. The first dimension is the psychosocial-, including, ambition, Demands and the possibility to achieve ambition and Demands. The local politicians in Sweden are responsible for a great deal of the welfare system why one would assume that there are a lot of Demands put on them - Demands for certain skills or a certain level of competence. I have in this study tried to find out how the Demands on the local representatives concerning the Demands for competence and the actual level of competence among the politicians are affecting the local politics. This was done through investigating how the local politicians are perceiving their level of competence and the Demands put on them, but also how the employees are perceiving the Demands and the level of competence put on the politicians. The study was made in the municipality of Gislaved in Southern Sweden. I was using both quantitative method (an opinion poll among the politicians and employees in the municipality) and qualitative method (interviews with three politicians and three employees and literature studies).In order to investigate the Demands for competence I split the concept into ?soft? competence (socially and emotionally based skills), and ?hard? competence (skills based on knowledge, education and experience).

This is re-searched by means of an exemplified case study of a Swedish public library in which we analyze governing documents and the library website with respect to environmental scanning and mar-keting of library services.The research questions are: How are the local community?s Demands on the public li-brary being described in the governing document? How is the public library?s response to the Demands of the local community being described in the operational plan? The purpose of this study is to investigate and describe the variation in perceptions of Demands and expectations of study performance among a group of students at an upper secondary school. The study is inspired by a phenomenographic approach in which variations in perceptions of a phenomenon are of importance. Twelve students at a science program participated and were interviewed in groups of four. Abstract The main purpose of this study was to investigate if and how the employees in elderly care experience stress and which underlying causes they understand to be important in their work situation. The purpose was also to investigate whether Karaseks and Theorells Demands and control models could be used to explain the employees feelings of stress and to see in which categories the participants are in. Furthermore, the purpose was also to understand the participants work situation and to describe the factors and remedies the employees perceive to contribute to the stress levels at their workplace. 81 questionnaires were distributed at three different locations, two of which were in Ronneby and one in Örebro. 56 people answered the questionnaires.
