The aim of this essay is to discuss the meaning of the human and its possible overcoming in Friedrich Nietzsche?s doctrine of the eternal recurrence of the same, with Martin Heidegger?s readings of Nietzsche as point of departure.According to Heidegger, Nietzsche?s doctrine of the eternal recurrence of the same represents the end of occidental metaphysical thinking. The thought concludes a thinking of being as the presence of beings, where the original question of being was never developed out of its own ground. But at the heart of this interpretation, often considered ?violent?, lies the question of whether man is able to think being out of his finitude. This is the question I will unfold, through a reading of Nietzsche?s thought of the eternal recurrence of the same, as it is presented in his Thus spoke Zarathustra, as an attempt to think beings in their being beyond a ?humanization? of them, expressed in transcendental aims, purposes and categories.

The urban physical practice of parkour can be described as male dominated. In thispaper, however, I choose to focus on women participating in the sport. My materialconsist of interviews with five Swedish women who regularly perform parkour.Through the phenomenology of Simone de Beauvoir, Iris Marion Young and SaraAhmed, I analyze the women?s relationship to the body and (public) space. Myconclusion is that engaging in parkour has changed the way the women understandtheir own Corporeality, from an ?I cannot? to an ?I can?.

If they say why? Tell'em that it's human nature

My working process is craft based and influenced by devotion for the textile material and techniques, but the concept is just as important. I mainly do sculptural objects where I treat fascination, frustration and disgust for the human body from a personal perspective. I am also deeply fascinated with Michael Jackson; an iconic figure that I adore above all else. A man with an inner musical ability, dedicated his entire life to tame and signify it through his body. My master work is an investigation where I look upon similarities and connections between my fascination with the body and the admiration and fascination with Michael Jackson.

Based on the assumption that the work of contemporary Swedish poet Helena Eriksson, in various ways elaborates the inseparable relation between body and language, this study aims to investigate how this view of language comes to expression in her poetry. Stepping from a theoretical background of feminist perspectives on the body, as well as recent theories on poetic materiality, the analysis points out how the concepts of aesthetic and/or linguistic materiality, social and technological materiality, and what can be described as the ethical dimension of materiality, all as termed by Jesper Olsson and Fredrik Hertzberg, take on feminist implications in Eriksson?s poetry. Through the theory of feminist anthropologist Vicki Kirby and her account of Derrida?s general view of writing, the study makes use of a deconstructive approach to the later work of Eriksson.

The aim for this master thesis is to create an understanding of the intersubjective processes of how individuals are experimenting with their identities in social media and the consequences for the identity and embodiment. The thesis is completed with the help of discourse analysis and a starting point in four complementary theories. Central to the implementation of the analysis is the concept of diffraction. Therefore the thesis is, which is reflected in the choice of theoretical approaches and methods, critical to many aspects of classical philosophy of science and method. The empirical material is based on interviews.

This essay tells about the meaning of eurhythmics for children?s development and why it is so difficult to draw attention to the value of eurhythmics compared to other activities in preschool. The essay builds upon a story that shows what consequences may follow when the meaning of the eurhythmics in the process of learning is not acknowledged. By looking at the relation between rhythm and human beings in a global perspective, I have examined the meaning of rhythm for the human well-being. The question I have researched is; why does eurhythmics appeal to almost every child in spite of being rejected by so many teachers? By researching the reasons behind these completely different points of views, I have tried to enhance the understanding for the different perspectives.
