Background: The purpose of this study was to explore the reasons that motivate women to seek cosmetic breast Augmentation surgery, to examine their self-concept and how they relate to their breasts.Methods: Ten female postoperative participants who have undergone an aesthetic breast Augmentation surgery on private clinics were interviewed using an unstructured interview format. Self-report questionnaire was used as a complement to the interview. The purpose of this was to examine women's self-concept. Six female postoperative participants who have undergone a breast Augmentation surgery on public clinic and had medically confirmed defect also completed the measures.Results: The results of the interview analysis showed that some participants experienced positive physical and psychological outcomes of surgery and some did not. Several main themes were identified relating to the initial reasons for performing surgery.

Det finns ett stort utbud av benersättningsmaterial att använda vid sinuslyft i samband med implantatbehandling. Autogent bentransplantat har länge varit ett populärt val trots nackdelar som t.ex. postoperativ smärta från donationsområdet och/eller eventuell sjukhusinläggning. Användning av substitut till autogent bentransplantat skulle kunna vara en lösning för att eliminera dessa problem. Vid utvärdering av implantatbehandling och tolkning av resultat används olika mätparametrar som t.ex.

This report presents a thesis project conducted by two students at Mälardalens högskola. The project covers 15 points in industrial design and was conducted during April to June 2014. The principal of the thesis works at Plastic Produkter. The assignment was to develop equipment for an effective way to dose, mix silicon, fill a special designed plastic bag and then seal it. The bag is then formed into a breast model.When a customer for various reasons decides to do a breast Augmentation or a breast reconstruction, there may be doubt or uncertainty about the result.

This essay focuses on the press coverage of the riots in Gothenburg 2001. The questions it aims to answer are, How is it that although the media was gender-neutral in its news reports, the lasting memory is one of rioting men, and why did the media simultaneously exaggerate and minimize the importance of the riots?The material consists of articles and photographs from Swedish mainstream newspapers. The method is text analysis, with a heavy influence of discourse theory. The conclusions are that since the hegemonic discourse on gender does not allow women to be active and violent, all bodies in the riot automatically become men, no matter how female they seem to be in other contexts.

Syftet med studien var att jämföra effekterna mellan tidig eller uppskjuten oxytocinbehandling vid värksvaghet under förlossning samt att studera hur intaget av peroral vätska och/eller intravenös infusion kunde påverka förlossningsutfallet.Metod en prospektiv randomiserad kontrollerad studie där även jämförelse med kontrollgrupp utan oxytocinbehandling ingick. I studien ingick 351 förstföderskor med normal graviditet varav totalt 108 av kvinnorna kom att ingå i de två randomiserade grupperna. Datainsamling och analys gjordes på förlossningsutfallet för mor och barn.Resultatet visade på skillnad mellan grupperna tidig eller uppskjuten oxytocinbehandling vad gällde förlossningslängden. Tidig oxytocinbehandling innebar i genomsnitt två timmar kortare förlossning. I samma grupp ingick det fler barn som inte fått tidig hud mot hud kontakt med modern jämfört med den sent randomiserade gruppen.
