I have examined the conditions for participation in an opera masquerade. Theoretical support has been found in Michail Bachtin, Richard Schechner and Judith Butler. The main study object has been a masquerade organised by the workers of The Royal Opera of Stockholm in 1925. The masquerade is examined as a social practise with distinct aesthetic framing. The analysis shows that the opera masquerade share some characteristics with the medieval carnival culture as described by Bachtin, but differ in many ways as well.

Uppgift: Att rita den tilltänkta teknikbyggnaden till Nationalmuseum som planeras byggas efter att renoveringen av museet är klar.Eftersom Nobelcentrum planeras på tomten bredvid har jag intresserat mig för hur dessa två projekt skulle kunna samverka och dela funktioner i en gemensam byggnad. Nationalmuseums tilltänkta teknikbyggnad är placerad tillsammans med liknande funktioner inom Nobelcentrums byggnadskropp. Verksamheterna delar lastintag och uppställningsytor samt vissa verkstäder. De skulle även kunna dela hörsalar och Auditorium.Nationalmuseums externa verksamhet är främst koncentrerad till Nobelcentrums sydvästliga del där funktionerna spänner över flera plan. Anslutning till huvudbyggnaden sker via en passage under mark.Nobelcentrum består av en lång byggnadskropp som omsluter museiparken.

Stage Design is design for action and contains décor, side-scenes and properties, as well as costume and grease-paint. The one responsible for this is the Stage Designer, who together with the Director, creates the best conditions for the actors to perform in. The stage, where the play takes place, could be either in a theater, an Auditorium, or in another sort of room, at another place, inside or outside, and where the place itself inspires to theatrical performance and expressions.
