In focus of this study lie students of an upper secondary school in a multicultural district, where more than 60 % of the students fail to reach the national goals for education. Since this particularly exposed group of students receives little attention during my studies in the Special Educational Teacher Programme, I have felt an ever growing urge to examine this group closer. As a basis for this study stands theories on how children and Youths, in particular those of immigrant background, need holistic consistency and continuity in order to be able to build a positive development of identity. The purpose of this study is to explore the possibilities of developing parent cooperation in a multicultural district, through finding out what teachers and parents expect and desire from parent cooperation. I also want to find out how parents and teachers think that a working parent cooperation affects the student.

In addition to original background, appar-ently the municipality?s service-dominated trade and industry culture has also affected the choice of education and profession of the youth in Norrtälje.

Sammanfattning: Syftet med denna uppsats är att överordnat utveckla en förståelse om ungdomar i marginaliserade grupper, i detta fall ungdomar som bor och lever inom Rosengårds gränser. Frågorna vi valt för att få uppnå syftet är; Hur påverkas utvecklingen av den egna självbilden bland ungdomarna, i samband med nära relationer till den egna familjen? Hur påverkas ungdomarnas situation utifrån de fördomar som finns i det konventionella samhället? Samt beror polariseringen av gemenskapen inom området på segregering?Metoden vi använder för att illustrera syftet är av en kvalitativ ansats där det empiriska materialet består av intervjuer med 8 ungdomar från stadsdelen Rosengård.I Studiens teoretiska del har tre teoretiska ramar använts, Social kontrollteori, identitetsteori samt habitusteori.Resultatet i denna studie påvisar att alla ungdomarna har väldigt låga sociala band till det konventionella samhället. Informanterna påvisade dock en väldigt stor grad av respekt för föräldrarnas moral samt en låg grad av avvikande beteende. Många av de vi intervjuade hade stora framtidsplaner och skolan var enligt våra informanter något som var viktig för dem.

Under examenskursen har jag studerat bilder som används istället för text. Många oväntade upptäckter och insikter dök upp längs vägen, vilket ibland medförde att jag ändrade fokus. Projektets process kom därför att bli ganska krokig.Från början var jag inne på att skapa språk som bygger på bilder. Tanken var att möjliggöra internationell kommunikation och kommunikation med personer med talhandikapp. Jag tänkte ?översätta? en text till bilder, som en skiss på ett sådant språk.

Abstract: In the past ten years in Sweden, the numbers of people between the ages of 16-19 who were unemployed or not in upper secondary school education have increased. This was assumed to be caused by three factors. Firstly the upper secondary school education reforms in 1992, secondly a substantially reduced labour market for young people without the upper secondary school education and thirdly an increase in demand for work experience.Our purposes was to describe the effects on the outsiders through a document analysis study, but also to understand which individual, social and structural causes that were thought to increase the risk of marginality. Our second purposes were to understand how the Kristianstad community worked to prevent young people of ending up as outsiders. Through interviews with local authorities, we tried to find out if the Kristianstad community lives up to their responsibility of looking after people less than twenty years of age.Our conclusion was that, although the Kristianstad community seems to have a good system, the community has the highest number of unemployed in the county of Skåne.

Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka hur Hallstahammars kommun destinationsutveckling går till, och vilken turisttyp som besöker kommunen. Hallstahammars kommun är en liten kommun, men har olika sevärdheter för både kulturturismen och naturturismen, så som Strömsholm slott, Åsby hem och trädgård, fiskeplatser, Skantzen m.m. Områdena och sevärdheterna ligger väldigt nära varandra, från Skantzö bad och camping till centrum är det ca tio minuters promenad. Att platserna ligger nära varandra, är en styrka som kommunens destinationsutveckling har jämfört med en större kommun. För att destinationsutvecklingen ska gå framåt kan kommuner utgå från bl.a.
