I vår uppsats undersöker vi svenska tidningars framställning av två löperskor: Meraf Bahta och Abeba Aregawi. Vi har använt oss av teorierna National Sporting Heroes (NSH) och framing, detta för att få in den idrottsliga aspekten tillsammans med journalistiken. Vi har använt oss av både en mindre kvantitativ innehållsanalys och en kvalitativ textanalys. I den kvalitativa textanalysen koncentrerade vi oss på ordval. I den kvantitativa innehållsanalysen undersökte vi bland annat artikelns vinkel och hur ofta löperskornas bakgrunder nämndes i artiklarna.

Abstract ?The Vampire from past to present?. This essay studies and compares the early historical Vampire as it is presented in some of the Western Europe countries, primarily Greece, but also Romania and how their descriptions of the Vampire have inspired the portrait of vampires in modern films and literature. The essay aims to answer the questions:How has the historical, traditional, European Vampire developed through the centuries into the modern Vampire of today? Which original facts and perceptions about the Vampire from a Christian and pre-Christian point of view can be observed in the modern Vampire, as it is presented in the chosen films and furthermore, can any new ideas be observed in the films?By studying Vampire literature and poems throughout the centuries, a very interesting picture appears.

Kronisk njursjukdom med livsuppehållande hemodialysbehandling medförde förändrade levnadsvillkor för patienter och närstående. Närvaro av närstående var en faktor som positivt påverkade patienten och utan närståendes stöd krävdes större insatser från sjukvården. Till närstående räknas anhöriga, men även andra som har nära relationer med patienten, som till exempel vänner eller grannar. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att undersöka hur litteraturen beskriver situationen för närstående till hemodialyspatienter och vilken typ av stöd de efterfrågade, samt att beskriva inkluderade studiers urvalsgrupper. Det är en beskrivande litteraturstudie där 10 kvalitativa artiklar från databasen CINAHL inkluderades.

In this Master we have studied classification system and alternative arrangements of books in a public library. The public libraries in Sweden use the SAB classification system. This system was created nearly a hundred years ago in order to suit the librarians and the Swedish society at the time. Today many library users find the system difficult to understand. This and other factors have inspired a number of libraries to arrange books in an alternative and more user-friendly way.

The aim of this thesis was to understand and illuminate how readingpromotion projects can be carried out, what sort of activities they mightcontain and what sort of lasting impressions they might make. We choseto examine reading promotion projects because we consider thepromotion of reading and literacy a vital and important part of thelibraries work. The study took place at the city library of Uddevalla andthe projects included in the study were all directed towards children andyouth.The theory used in the thesis was Aidan Chambers?s model of theReading Circle which consists of the four themes of selection,?reading?, response and the enabling adult. Methods used were semistructuredinterview, document studies and observation.The results show that reading promotion projects benefit from cooperationbetween the adults involved and that education of the adultsin order to indirectly target the children is an effective way of spreadingthe love of reading.

Problem och syfte: Medlemsländerna i Världshälsoorganisationen söker implementera WHO: s klassifikation av funktionstillstånd, funktionshinder och hälsa. Klassifikationen ICF bygger på ett helhetstänkande där människors hälsoegenskaper inom den kontext som deras personliga livssituationer och omgivning skapar beskrivs (Socialstyrelsen, 2003). Specialpedagogiska skolmyndigheten (SPSM) föreslår en mall för kartläggning av elever enligt ICF-CY (Children & Youth Version, 2007) inför upprättande av individuell utvecklingsplan eller åtgärdsprogram. Syftet med undersökningen är att utvärdera hur lärare upplever att mallen skapar förutsättningar för ett gemensamt språk.Metod: Undersökningen är kvalitativ och har en fenomenologisk ansats. Sex lärare har intervjuats enskilt genom halvstrukturerad livsvärldsintervju.

Much of the everyday work of teachers in pre-schools, schools and youth centers is based on experience. This study is a qualitative interview study intended to make visible the experiences of pre-school teachers in situations when children are considered to be in need of special support. I have looked at pre-school teachers? descriptions of the kinds of situations in which a child is estimated to be in need of special support, what teachers look for in a child to identify it as a child in need of special support in a specific situation, and how the teachers define special support. Both this study and previous research show that children?s estimated need of support depends on the situation and context the child is in. The pre-school teachers in this study identify common situations where children are estimated to be in need of special support, namely: in interaction with others, in structured situations, during changes of activities and during free play.

I takt med expanderingen av evenemangsturism växer även kraven på säkerhetshanteringen i samband med evenemangen. Hot som huliganism är vanligt förekommande vid vissa evenemang och behöver handskas med för att undvika eventuella påverkningar på besöksnäringen. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur aktörer arbetar kring säkerhet inför och under evenemang för att säkerställa individens hälsa i omständigheter där huliganism är närvarande och ofredar besöksnäringen. Fortsättningsvis vill vi även komma fram till vilken grad huliganismen påverkar besöksnäringen och i sådana fall, på vilket sätt. För att kunna svara på syftet och våra frågeställningar, har vi använt oss av en kvantitativ undersökning som hjälpt oss att påvisa denna företeelse.

Det civila samhället har inte förstått vilka förändringar som Försvarsmakten (FM) gått igenom. Urrekryteringssynpunkt är det inte acceptabelt. Sveriges säkerhetspolitiska inriktning har förändratsoch det är Försvarsmaktens ansvar att kommunicera denna förändring till samhället. Om inte FMlyckas med sin kommunikation, och då speciellt till de ungdomar FM behöver rekrytera, kan FMpå sikt få stora problem med bemanning av de internationella insatsförbanden. Redan vidmönstringen måste det finnas tillräckligt hög kvalitet och stort urval av ungdomar som villtjänstgöra utomlands.

Theft without break-ins has increased significantly in the last year of swimming, sports and leisure facilities in Karlskrona, more precisely 60%. Vandalism in the shape of graffiti is another common crime. The solutions are divided into social and situational crime prevention. Social crime prevention engage in actions that are based on social causes of crime rather than the opposite situational crime prevention, which instead assumes that discourage with the help of technical solutions and has as primary objective to hinder accessibility for example theft friendly goods. The main purpose of this work is to come up with solutions to prevent these crimes, while also being cost-effective and realistic to implement. The work is important in that it creates safety awareness and promotes a healthy safety culture. Moreover, the future goal is to lower these statistics. The goal of the work is in addition to developing our knowledge of crime subject, was also to provide help and solutions for our clients.
