Abstract Etel Fredriksson och Elin Friman (2010) De första mötena på dagen, en studie om möten mellan pedagoger och barn i förskolans hall. Undersökningens syfte är att genom ett genusperspektiv synliggöra pedagogernas bemötande gentemot barnen, samt deras tankar om detta. Frågeställningarna är, hur bemöter pedagogerna barnen vid ankomst till förskolan? Samt, hur tänker pedagoger kring bemötandet av barn vid ankomst till förskolan? Studien bygger på material från intervjuer med tre pedagoger samt observationer av 12 barn mellan cirka ett och fyra år på en förskola i södra Sverige. I texten används material från fem observationstillfällen och från tre intervjuer som är genomförda på förskolan. Centrala slutsatser är att pedagogerna lägger stor vikt vid barnens personligheter och att pedagogerna tycker det är viktigt att de har ett positivt beteende i mötet med barnen. In the process of making carton boards into Skoghall Mill, are great quantities of water being contaminated. This water has to be treated before it is possible to release into the recipient, Kattfjorden. One of the contaminations that is important to extract from the wastewater, is organic carbon (measured as TOC-total organic carbon) because microbiological breakdown can lead to the bottom becomig free of oxygen.The wastewater treatment at Skoghall Mill is done through an external wastewater treatment that is located at the factory. The biological treatment (aerated lagoon) is a 140 000 m3 water pool with surface aerator, which is give oxygen to the water. In the lagoon live microorganisms who performs the biggest part of the TOC-reduction.One problem with the lagoon is that the treatment of TOC is considerably worse during wintertime than during summertime.

The Swedish cooperative Lantmännen Ekonomiska Förening has initiated a project labelled "Operation Blåljus" that includes an extensive program for closing down elevators. The number of elevators will be reduced from 92 to approximately 15 after harvest of 2007. The objective of Blåljus is to increase the price of grain with 10 öre/kg. A project has been initiated at the Lantmännen Grain division where the purpose is to provide the farmers with support in their decisions and practical advice how they can load a 35 ton grain truck on 30 minutes. The result from the project will serve as a support system to the farmer in his ambition to achieve cost efficient systems to load a truck with grain on the farm.

SammanfattningSyfte och frågeställningSyftet med studien är att undersöka vilken betydelse idrottshallens utformning har avseende lärande, lek och fysisk aktivitet i ämnet idrott och hälsa för elever i grundskolan på fem skolor.Hur upplever läraren att idrottshallen fungerar för undervisningen?MetodUndersökningen genomfördes med hjälp av metoden kvalitativ intervju på fem skolor i Stockholm. Skolorna kallas i studien för Nordskolan (F-6), Östskolan (F-3), Sydskolan (F-9), Västskolan (F-3) och Centrumskolan (F-9). En lärare i idrott och hälsa intervjuades på respektive skola. Lärarna kallas för Nora, Olga, Siri, Vera och Cissi.ResultatNord-, Syd- och Centrumskolans idrottshall är stor till golvytan, cirka 24x48 meter, och när varje hall delas av med en vikvägg är vardera halva cirka 24x24 meter.

Nyttjandet av motorfordon i allmänhet och snöskotrar i synnerhet har ökat kraftigt i naturen. Snöskotern har sedan introduktionen i Sverige, i mitten av 1960-talet, brett ut sig över hela Norrland. The piglet mortality rates have become a major issue in today?s pig production. While other production traits such as number of born piglets or produced piglets per sow have been improved, the mortality rate has escalated. High mortality rates before weaning does not only affect the economy but must also be looked at as both an animal welfare problem and an ethical issue. The background to this problem has been addressed many times, and its salvation has also been addressed by breeding.

The aim of our study is to ascertain whether a hanging suspension fluorescentlamp for a private home environment is going to be attractive for a largeaudience. We want to open up for new uses of fluorescent lamps as lightsources.The main approach in this work is how to design a fixture with fluorescentlamps as a light source that will meet the requirements and requests of thehome environment could look like. At the same time we want to make a newimpression of how a fluorescent light source.Primarily we used a quantitative method, but this was rejected after a pilotstudy. Instead we used a qualitatively based method in the sense that weconducted a group interview as well as individual interviews.Based on data from the interviews and our preliminary work a prototype wasbuilt. This prototype is a fluorescent fixture equipped with 2x14W T5fluorescent lamps, dimmed separately.

Vattenfall hedge its future electricity production in order to decrease fluctuations in theresult. Hedging can in a simplified way be described as selling the future electricity deliveriesin long-term contracts so that the future price of the delivery becomes fixed. The contractsused are electricity forwards traded at the Nordic electricity market Nord Pool. This essay takes its start in the problematic situation concerning source material in the study of the Norse religion before the Christianization of Scandinavia. There is a lack of written sources from the time when the religion was still practiced. There are plenty of archeological sources economic situation than their religious beliefs. The Icelandic stories written in the 13th and 14th centuries give us a broad pictureof the Norse mythology, but the writers were Christians which makes their reliability questionable.The focus of this essay is therefore on two texts written during the time when the Norse religion was still in practice. The first source is the travel notes written in 922 by the Muslim scholar Ahmad ibn Fadlan who met a group of the Rus? people.

In May 2010 the plans for Malmö?s new Concert Hall, Conference Centre and Hotel were announced publically. The purpose of this thesis was to present strategy for communication in order to gain approval for the new concert and conference center from the inhabitants inMalmö and to incorporate the use of it in their everyday life.Material from the receiver?s as well as the sender?s perspective has been collected from qualitative interviews. Through group interviews we have investigated the general consensus of the inhabitants of Malmö regarding the investment, placing, offered events, expectations as well as how they collected information.

Gunnebo House and Gardens was designed during the late 18th century by architect Carl Wilhelm Carlberg as a summer residence for the wealthy merchant John Hall Sr. and his family. The garden consists of formal garden, kitchen garden and English park. For the first two parts several original drawings have been preserved and here a lot of restoration work has been carried out. This paper aims to examine how the English park might have been implemented during John Hall Sr.?s time and to create a plant scheme for the area called ?Engelska kullen? (The English hill).

SUMMARY This pilot study tried to answer the question however the present animal welfare regulations for horses regarding lying hall area requirements are adequate for horses older than 24 months. The study was carried out at one of the largest stud farms for standard bred horses in Sweden. Mares in late pregnancy with an initial mean age of 10 years was used in a behaviour study. The influence of varying space per animal in a loose-housing system on behaviours like the horses' lying hall use, standing, resting, moving behaviour and threats was studied. The behaviour at three different horse densities ? 18 mares, 13 mares and 8 mares (7.4 m2, 10.3 m2 and 16.7 m2 per mare, respectively) ? was recorded by use of video.
