Uppsatsen syfte är att undersöka betydelsen av arbetskraftens utbildningsnivå och ålder på ekonomisk tillväxt för 34 OECD-länder mellan år 1990 ? 2010. Sambandet studeras i en regressionsanalys på ett paneldataset med data från källorna Worldbank och ekonomerna Robert Barro och Jong-Wha Lee. För att beskriva utbildningsnivå och ålders korrelation med ekonomisk tillväxt används en modell skapad av Lutz et al.(2008). Ekonomisk tillväxt förväntas påverkas i direkta effekter på arbetskraftens produktivitet och indirekta effekter av ett lands förmåga att ta till sig teknologisk utveckling.

The purpose of this essay is to illustrate the debate of water politics and privatisation of water distribution. My method is debate analysis and qualitative idea analysis and for my essay I used three books that try to persuade the reader that his or her idea is the best for this water crisis. My main question is to illustrate the debate concerning water privatisations. I will also look at the arguments for or against privatisations and finally determine how the authors think the state should act towards this subject. The first book I used was Vandana Shivas ?Water Wars? that when published started an international discussion about the water privatisations.

Everything according to the points stated in the so called Washington Consensus.The purpose of this dissertation is to research what impact the Washington Consensus has on the state in terms of power over the market and sovereignty.
