I slutet av år 2005 blev en ny applikation utvecklad. Applikationen hade en innovativ potential att marknadsföras internationellt vilket ledde till att en patentansökan lämnades in och företaget Mobisma AB grundades. Den tekniska lösningen uppfyllde kraven för en patentansökan och hade nyhet, uppfinningshöjd och en industriell användbarhet. Avsikten med den här uppfinningen var att styra användarens frånvarustatus i en telefonväxel från sin mobiltelefon. Vid den här tidpunkten årsskiftet 2005/2006 var det unikt med applikationer för en mobiltelefon.

Syftet med denna rapport är att utvärdera problem och möjligheter med att använda Web-baserade informationssystem, d.v.s. att använda World Wide Web som plattform för ett informationssystem.Rapporten avhandlar utvecklingen av organisationer och vikten av att de använder sig av ett flexibelt informationssystem, samt fördelar och nackdelar för organisationer att använda ett Web-baserat informationssystem.Användbarheten är en viktig del i ett system och en fallstudie har gjorts på ett existerande hypermedia-system. Överblicksproblemet är idag ett stort problem vid användandet av hypermedia och det diskuteras specifikt.Resultatet är att Web-baserade informationssystem har många fördelar men samtidigt även stora nackdelar, vilket gör att dessa system inte idag kan inte ersätta de traditionella informationssystemen. Däremot kan de fungera som ett komplement. Det finns även problem ur användbarhets-synpunkt som måste lösas, för att hypermedia-system ska bli riktigt effektiva..

By comparing the experience off interaction in a life world with a drug habit and a life world without a drug habit you might find how they differ. We asked four former drug abusers in four semi structured interviews to describe their experiences off interaction under these two circumstances. The difference between the two life worlds when it comes to interaction is that in the drug abusing life world our informants describe that communicative action has to stand back for a more goal oriented action. In the drug free life world, communicative action on the other hand is experienced as the most important action. The difference is about wether interaction is goal oriented or oriented at understanding.

The aim of this thesis is to find out how users and libraries are constructed at public library websites in Sweden from a web 2.0 perspective. We discuss the development of public libraries in Swedish history and the change from an system oriented perspective to a individual oriented perspective and how these perspectives correspond to needs of the library user. We also discuss the concept of web 2.0 and library 2.0. These concepts are open for different interpretations. Some writers believe that web 2.0 and library 2.0 is something radically new and that it will change the public libraries, while other writers claim that these concepts is just a marketing plan.

Författarna kommer i denna uppsats att titta på två typer av hjälpmedel för att ta fram korrekta svar på frågor ur denna ökade informationsmängd. De hjälpmedel som granskas är sökmotorer samt informationsagenter, och det som författarna kommer fram till genom teoristudier och en egen utförd mätning är att både sökmotorer och informationsagenter idag hittar korrekta svar med i stort sett lika stor träffsäkerhet vid sökningar på Internet.

This report is an attempt to clarify how religious and non-religious views-of-life [livsåskådningar] are created through the collaboration and opposition of religious and scientific elements/ideas. This with the hope of reaching a fruitful result related to the solution of world-view related conflicts, such as the ones existing between science and religion, on an individual and societal level.This is accomplished with the help of two assertions: (1) Mankind has a need to explain its existence and surroundings. (2) Religion and science has their origins in the same seed and aim to serve the same purpose, or function. Together these two assertions lay the theoretical foundations of this report which implies that all humans have an innate need of sustaining a stable world-view.The result of this report is that a final solution to world-view related conflicts are beyond reach as our mental and physical nature limits us. The purpose of this study was to examine how modern information and communication technology influence collective action within the framework of social movements. By studying the protests in the Arab World 2011, and focusing on the social movements in Suleimanya in northern Iraq, by observation taken on place, the essay discusses that collective action is closely related to the use of technology, for example cell phones and Internet.Result shows that modern communication technology has enabled immeasurable access andconnection between individuals throughout the world, which seems to be different from previouscollective action. The new communication channels in the form of social media, has been used for the dissemination of information and news, documentation, organization and membership recruitment in the social movements in the Arab World and Suleimanya. The new social movements have the tendency to be decentralized and flattened organized, they are now self-organizing and that they only do a whole as global patterns, as evidenced by the social movements in the Arab World andSuleimanya..

The purpose of this master?s thesis is to examine how some university students, who are using the libraries extensively, use and experience the public and the university library and what they expect from the two different library types. I also compare their expectations with the different tasks and aims of the two library types. To answer this I have interviewed seven students at the department of history of literature at Göteborg University. I have also studied some literature and research related to this subject, for example user studies about students and libraries and the information behaviour of distance students.

We have chosen to focus this paper on the importance of game-components in the MMORPG-game World of Warcraft, in order to discover which of them who are the most important and create the biggest motivation to play the game for the players of World of Warcraft. We made this  investigation because we wanted to find out more about the specific reasons about what people think is especially great with World of Warcraft and makes them want to play it for hour after hour. By doing this we wanted to find out what it is that is so appreciated with this game. But this is a big area and it has therefore been difficult to find a way to satisfy and make those who have answered on our survey to feel that the game-component they enjoy most has been a part of our questions.To solve this problem we did a survey that included 200 persons and two interviews. When both the survey and the interviews had been completed, the result was being compared against each other and together to see if there was any difference between them or if they had any similarity to the attraction and motivation.

Vårt syfte med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur väl medieföretaget Norrköpings Tidningar tar till vara flerkanalspubliceringens möjligheter och om innehållet i de olika kanalerna skiljer sig. Under vecka 15, 2008, måndag till lördag gjorde vi en kvantitativ innehållsanalys av innehållet i Norrköpings Tidningars papperstidning, webb och tv-kanalen 24nt. Den kvantitativa innehållsanalysen ligger till grund för vår studie men vi har valt att komplettera vår undersökning med en fallstudie och kvalitativa intervjuer. Vår hypotes när vi inledde vårt arbete var att innehållet i de olika kanalerna inte skiljde sig nämnvärt. Detta visade sig stämma till viss del.

Enligt det så kallade fördubblingsmålet skall antalet resor med kollektivtrafiken fördubblas i Sverige fram till år 2020. För att nå upp till detta behövs inte bara investeringar utan även strukturella förändringar och nya sätt att tänka kring människors resande, ett synsätt som delas av myndigheter och forskningscentra på ett internationellt plan. I detta sammanhang anses det också viktigt att behålla yngre resenärer, vilket ställer krav på kollektivtrafiken att framstå som ett attraktivt alternativ till motordriven persontrafik. Här syftar det aktuella projektet till att bidra till en förstärkt resupplevelse i kombination med stöd för planering och genomförande av resor. Projektet tar avstamp i ett utnyttjande av modern informations- och kommunikationsteknologi samt i möjligheter inom Webb 2.0 att dela information.
