Abstract: The aim of this study is to investigate the attitudes towards the labour movement?s strategies, goals and organisational issues in Swedish Miners? Union?s (Gruvindustriarbetareförbundet, hereafter Gruv) paper, Gruvarbetaren 1917-1925.The theoretical starting point is Engels? view on the class state. This perspective turns the question of socialism and the way to get there into an issue of working class power over the state. Another theoretical perspective is the partition of the labour movement into a trade-unionistic branch, seeing unions as financial organisations of interest, and a pro-state one, considering unions as political organisations.During the period investigated Gruvarbetaren was quite radical and advocated a firm class struggle strategy towards employers. Since these were considered unreliable, class struggle was seen as the only way to better the conditions for the working class.

Background:Studies show that when nurses are experiencing problems in the care of non-Swedish speaking patients, it is often due to obstacles in the communication. Studies also show that a prerequisite for adequate care is that there is a basis for a direct communication. Nurses perceive interpreters as an important link to the patient when they do not share a mutual language, the nurses perceive interpreters as a bridge in the conversation.Aim:The purpose of the study is to describe nurses' experiences of the quality of assessments done with the help of an interpreter.Method:The study was conducted through interviews with ten nurses, working at psychiatric clinics. Qualitative content analysis was used for the analysis, which resulted in five categories.Results:The analysis resulted in one theme: "it´s the interpreter who tells me and have not the feeling that the patient has" and five categories: "shades of the language", "conversation structure", "the interpreter's competence", "interpreting implementing" and "the interpreter's gender and origin". The nurses experience working with interpreters as a challenge.

Discussing light and lighting in the night-time environment of Tensta, a Stockholm suburb built between 1962 and 1970, this thesis suggests that lighting should be designed for the outdoor environment as a whole. The feeling of safety and human perception are important components in this thesis. Starting with some comments on visual perception and how we adapt our sight to an interval of the visual input we get, makes it possible to understand that more light sometimes hides, rather than reveals, things. Amongst the dispersed houses, in the green parks of Tensta, this turns the pedestrian roads, lit by pole-top-mounted fixtures, into light tunnels in a dark surrounding. The eighth of august the Olympic games in Beijing started. The chinese regime promised to improve the human rights situation in the country if awarded the Olympic games 2008. The decision to place the games in Beijing arouse severe critique and many questioned how the International Olympic Committe could place the games in a country that so obviously violate basic human rights.The main purpose of this essay has been to analyse what consequences the Olympic Games has given the human rights situation in China. In order to accomplish this I have studied some specific human rights, which I consider to be directly linked to the games. I found that the situation for these human rights has infact worsened since 2001 when China was awarded the games.

Denna slutreflektion kommer att beskriva planeringen och utvecklingen av en alternativ sorts arbetsmetod kallad Cloudmetoden, vilken lämpar sig för mindre arbetsgrupper som utvecklar digitala medier (i vårt fall spelproduktion). Slutreflektionen kommer att innehålla beskrivningar om vilket typ av problematik som gjorde att vi valde att skapa ett eget sätt att arbeta. Vi diskuterar och jämför vår arbetsmetod med redan existerande projektmetoder inom digitala spel. This text will describe the planning and development of a new kind of working method we call The Cloud Method , which is suited for smaller teams who develop some kind of Digital Media. (In our case, video games).

This thesis studies public service social workers' opinions regarding their ability to act with moral courage as loyalty conflicts occur. The purpose of the thesis is to describe the social workers' experiences of their possibilities to stand up for what they believe in. We made qualitative interviews with five social workers in Stockholm. In an effort to pinpoint their experiences we asked them questions about what they want but cannot do and what is stop-ping them, what they do not want to do and why, aswell as what the possible solutions would be as loyalty conflicts occur. We were able to identify five different opinions on the organisa-tional cultures and how the employees' experience the extent of their actions.

By interviewing people who has been working or are working with information technology in cars, we aim to clarify the obstacles and opportunities in the process of implementing informatics in cars. With this knowledge we want to learn more about Ubiquitous computing and how humans interact with Ubiquitous computers today and will be interacting in the future. Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka hur den sociala situationen kan se ut för tonårstjejer på Perus landsbygd, utifrån tjejerna som deltog i fokusgruppen på Arequipas landsbygd. Tanken är att undersöka hur tjejernas klass, ålder, etnicitet och kön kan påverka deras möjligheter att uttrycka sig och höras samt ta reda på vilka utmaningar de kan möta i samhället p g a att de är barn, flickor, fattiga och hör till en av Perus ursprungsbefolkningar. Sist vill jag ta reda hur tonårstjejer som deltog i fokusgruppen på landsbygden i Arequipa definierar sin egna sociala situation och hur de uttrycker sina åsikter och behov.Mina frågeställningar är: Hur ser tonårstjejernas sociala situation ut på Perus landsbygd, med fokus på Arequipas landsbygd och utifrån fokusgruppens deltagare? Hur påverkar klass, ålder, etnicitet och kön tjejernas möjligheter att uttrycka sig och höras, med utgångspunkt i fokusgruppens deltagare?För att uppnå mitt syfte åkte jag till mitt hemland Peru och forskade på plats om tjejernas sociala situation på Arequipas landsbygd. Jag intervjuade fyra personer som arbetar med sociala projekt inom biståndsvärlden, genomförde en fokusgrupp med åtta tjejer på Arequipas landsbygd samt samlade övergripande statistiskt material för att beskriva tjejernas sociala situation i Peru med fokus på fyra olika områden.Resultaten visar att tjejernas sociala situation är begränsad men ändå med några tecken på förbättringar i en positiv riktining.
