Background: A Balanced Scorecard can be used as a tool for communicating and presenting the vision and strategic goals of an organisation in a way that is easy to understand. Implementing a scorecard will support the learning process and dialog concerning the strategy of the organisation. It will also increase the employees understanding of the organisation and motivate them to reach the strategic targets.Purpose: To evaluate and describe employees opinions of a Balanced Scorecard that has been created by the management group from a management point of view. From that, our aim is to recommend our case company, Swedish Tissue, how to implement their Balanced Scorecard. We will also give more general recommendations on how to implement a scorecard.Method: The conclusions in this thesis are the result of a case study.

The purpose of the present quantitative study was to examine gender differences inperceived job satisfaction in two departments, with different work patterns, in a Swedishmanufacturing industry. The questionnaire contained 30 statements and five backgroundquestions. The questionnaire was designed in combination of Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS),Work demands, Social support, Control and Competence (ASK), Questionnaire forPsychological and Social factors at Work (QPS Nordic) and Minnesota SatisfactionQuestionnaire (MSQ). Job satisfaction was measured based on the categories influence atwork, leadership, employee influence, work requirements and the physical environment. Theresults of the present study showed an interaction of gender and department where the femaleindustrial workers, who worked with more monotonous and standardized work tasks, valuedall of the categories of job satisfaction the lowest, except for the category employee impact.The results are believed to depend on that the women in the department had greater demandsfor variety in the work..

Vi har undersökt vilket innehåll som socialtjänstens enhet individ-och familjeomsorgen inom olika kommuner har på sina hemsidor samt hur de har organiserat och koordinerat arbetet.Det visar sig att innehållsmässigt ser det väldigt lika ut med den information som erbjuds, det som skiljer hemsidorna åt är aktiviteter och kontaktmöjligheter för användarna. En del kommuner erbjuder sina användare möjligheten till kontakt via email till berörd handläggare medan andra valt att enbart ha email till själva enheten eller någon chef.Koordinationen kring själva arbetet sker i det flesta fall via muntlig kommunikation och ömsesidig anpassning. Endast en kommun har minskat koordinationen genom att använda standardprogram.Arbetets organisation utgår ifrån en grundläggande form av AD-hocracy..

AbstractThe purpose with this study is to find out how pedagogues, who teach in the early years of primary school, motivate and stimulate all pupils so they want to read a lot of fiction. The research also includes finding out more about why the pedagogues work as they do. The research starts with a study of current literature which deals with how teachers should work with motivation and stimulation in school. To find out how the pedagogues work in school I have made qualitative interviews with four pedagogues who work in the early years of primary school. The result shows that all of the pedagogues motivate and stimulate pupils in similar ways.

The aim with this master's thesis is to describe the work process with the graduation film Player, by a composers perspective and given conditions. It provides a detailed insight into how the work was done from the script stage to the end result, scene by scene reflecting about both the musical performance and the collaboration between the director and me as a composer. Den forskningsfråga som uppsatsen tar sin utgångspunkt i är på vilket sätt entreprenörskap förekommer i Svenska kyrkan. Detta besvaras genom att betingelser och förekomst analyseras som ett fenomen i styrnings och ledningsfunktionen i Svenska kyrkans verksamhet. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka betingelser och förekomster i Svenska kyrkan genom de processer, system och former som finns i organisationen. Metoden som används är abduktion där den hypotetiskt deduktiva metoden växelspelar med den induktiva metoden.Olika teorier om entreprenörskap presenteras och teoridelen forsätter med en genomgång av Svenska kyrkans organisation samt uppbyggnaden av en offentlig och ideell organisation. Efter dessa delar följer ett kapitel om socialt entreprenörskap utifrån innebörden i både organisation och entreprenörskap.

This study was made to examine what the Fountain house can do to help their members and how the members feel about their situation and their ability to participate in their rehabilitation. To do so we contacted one of the Fountain houses in Sweden, located in Falkenberg, to get a better view of what their members thought about the process. Our main purpose with this study was to turn the spotlight on what the Fountain house organization means to its members. To do so we had two main questions that we wanted to examine more closely:?How do the members experience the Fountain house organization? ? To which extend do the members feel that they are allowed to participate in their rehabilitation? ? How much influence do the members feel that they have? For this study we choose to use the qualitative method which included a lot of literature research, observations and interviews with members of the Fountain house organization.

Detta arbete behandlar vad man som organisation bör tänka på när man inför ett intranät i sin verksamhet. Jag anser att det generellt saknas riktlinjer för hur en intranätimplementering i en organisation bör gå till. De aspekter som arbetet tar upp är främst vilken information som är lämplig att distribueras via ett intranät, hur ett intranät bör administreras, underhållas och förvaltas, samt vilken implementationsplattform man skall bygga sitt intranät på. När det gäller intranätplattformar har jag begränsat min undersökning till en jämförelse mellan webbaserade intranät och intranät baserade på gruppvaruprogrammet Lotus Notes. Arbetet har utförts genom en litteraturstudie och genom intervjuer med representanter från fem olika organisationer som nyligen har, eller är på väg att införa ett intranät i sin verksamhet.Slutsatserna visar på att nästan all information kan distribueras via ett intranät och att en organisation bör införa klara och strikta regler och rutiner för hur administration, underhåll och förvaltning av ett intranät skall gå till.

This project has created a web-application for the service technicians at the paper plant Gruvön. The project was outsourced to the IT-company Sogeti.The application visualizes information about reparation-work of the equipment at the paper plant. The displayed information is work-orders, the status of the work-orders and errors. It is also possible to see the costs and hours spent on reparation-work.. The work-orders and related information is stored in a relational database.The application is created mainly for web-browsers in mobile-phones and tablets.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the ancient library organisation in the Mediterranean area. The focus of the study is if they used catalogues, marked their material and their methods for shelving. During the ancient period the people used to write on clay tablets, parchment- or papyrusrolls and codex, which was significant for the organisation. The method, which I use, for the examination is based on criticism of the sources, how the modern scholars has interpreted ancient remains and texts. The study shows that the first evidence for library organisation is from Mesopotamia 2350 BC.

This thesis work has introduced process orientation at the printing company Color Print Sweden AB. The outcome ofthis work is a survey of the work flow at the prepress department. To visualise the production process at the companya comprehensive mapping of the main process, order-to-delivery, has been made. The work has detected a couple ofcritical elements in the existing process. These elements are the following: initial check of material delivered to the prepressdepartment as well as the control made of the plotter print-out, digital test print and plate.

Det senaste decenniet har konkurrensen företag emellan ökat. Omvärldsfaktorer så som informationsteknologi och en globaliserad ekonomi har inverkat på företagens villkor och förutsättningar. Personalen har därmed blivit en stark konkurrensfaktor. Syftet med denna studie var att få en större förståelse för vad som kännetecknar en god arbetsplats utifrån ett chefsperspektiv. Detta har undersökts induktivt och kvalitativt i form av sex intervjuer vilka sedan analyserats tematiskt.

Organisationer som är verksamma inom forsknings- och utvecklingsintensiva branscher befinner sig idag i en både dynamisk och komplex omgivning, vilken erbjuder ständigt uppkommande möjligheter och hot. För att en organisation ska kunna ta till vara på ständigt uppkommande förändringar förutsätter det i sin tur en adaptiv förmåga. Denna uppsats avhandlar den kombination av adaptiva kapabiliteter som en organisation måste tillskansa sig för att en sådan adaptiv förmåga ska kunna uppnås. Uppsatsen är indelad i två delar. Den första delen ämnar beskriva de adaptiva kapabiliteter som kan användas för att en adaptiv förmåga ska uppnås.

The goal of this study is to examine what five teacher?s impression of the teacher?s role is in their previous years. How important the ?joy at work? is in relation with the educational progress? And what aspects that contributes to the? joy at work? and what obstacles that stops them. The essay will also go through the concepts of a teacher role, with connection to the theoretical perspectives of Csikszentmihalyi?s Flow and Antonovsky?s Salutogenesis (KASAM).The method I used was interviewing five teachers and I used Larsen?s chapter of ?content analysis? as a basis, I also used Flow and KASAM as theoretical references in my analysis.

The purpose with this essay is to give the reader an insight into and to describe the Danish Work Environment Act in its current wording and then compare it with the Swedish Work Environment Act. The first part of the essay describes the Work Environment Act and after that I compare with the Swedish Work Environment Act. At the end of the essay I will give my own thoughts of the result of this essay. I have chosen not to describe some of the chapters of the Act, for example the chapter about technical means and materials, because of the less importance for this essay and of my own interest. I have also chosen not to make mention of individual professions.
