Under 2010 antogs en ny regionplan för stockholms län, RUFS 2010. Planens mål är att ?Stockholm ska bli Europas mest attraktiva storstadsregion?. Dialog och samverkan har varit viktiga utgångspunkter både för planprocessen och det framtida arbetet med att genomföra planen. Regionen har arbetat med att involvera kommunerna i regionplaneprocessen, bland annat som ett sätt att förankra regionplaneringens innehåll även i kommunernas egna strategiska planering.I den här studien har jag undersökt relationerna mellan medborgarna, kommunerna och regionen i planeringen, för att söka svar på frågor om makten över den strategiska planeringen, vem som har tillträde till arenorna där beslut fattas samt medborgarnas möjligheter till inflytande i den regionala planeringen.För att svara på mina frågeställningar har jag gjort en fallstudie i stockholmsregionen, där jag studerat den nya regionplanen och ett antal stockholmskommuners översiktsplaner.

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att skapa ett serverprogram i en enkortsdator som arbetar i realtid för att kunna hjälpa människor att köra mer ekonomiskt och miljövänligt i deras vardag.Detta var ett av målen ställda av produktbeställaren Ziggy Creative Colony. Ett mer långsiktigt mål från beställaren är att datorn skall installeras i en bil och kopplas till bilens on-board diagnostic-II (OBD-II)-uttag. Datorn ska sedan, via OBD-II, kunna samla information som till exempel hastighet, acceleration och bränsleflöde från bilens engine control unit (ECU). Serverprogrammet ska bearbeta denna information som sedan kommuniceras och visualiseras till bilföraren via en native mobilapplikation.Serverprogrammet byggdes i en linuxbaserad dator: Raspberry Pi och döptes av oss till Car-Pi. Car-Pi designades enligt arkitekturmönstret Model-View-Controller (MVC) som gör det lätt att underhålla, vidare-utveckla och implementera programmet av produktägaren, Ziggy Creative Colony, i framtiden.

It is based around a questionnaire aimed towards store managers and consequently used it to run regression analysis using the software package SPSS.Main results: The main result of the essay is that the motivation among store managers is positively related to the degree to which they absorb information. Thus, a possible problem exists for the corporation in that they need to make sure that the store managers are and stays motivated. Further, it seems that the longer a store manager has been employed by the corporation the less information is absorbed. Interior window shutters can be found in historical buildings, but they are an uncommon occurrence in modern buildings. In modern contemporary construction, large glass panels are often the ideal because of increased light inflow and for architectural purposes. However, this can generate several negative effects, such as increased energy loss, lack of privacy and high sunlight penetration. Problems that window shutters could have accommodated historically. This thesis identifies a lack of knowledge about interior window shutters in the Swedish building stock.

The main aim of this research is to survey the general colour scheme for private dwellings inVisby, built 1860?1930. During this period the visual appearance of the town of Visby changedsubstantially, since the increased local production of lime led to the plastering of many woodenbuildings. Which colour schemes were chosen for the different building types of the historic centreof Visby, and which colours came to dominate the time period? The methods used for answeringthese questions have partly been field studies on site and sampling of selected buildings, andpartly critical reading and observation of iconographic material (paintings, drawings, aquarelles,postcards and photographs).

Today multi-touch technology is the basis for many new techniques designed to improve interactions with computers and mobile devices. It seems that multi-touch screen interface makes the user handling very natural in the sense that there is no need for a manual in how to interact with the object on the screen. The aim with this paper is to establish a fundamental set of design principles intended specifically for large multi-touch interfaces. To reach this goal we have implemented a couple of sub-goals beforehand: It was essential that we acquired a good understanding of the current state of the multi-touch interface and the different implementations that exist today. To make this possible we constructed a multi-touch display, "Rosie". Knowing how the hardware is produced today will help us understand the limitations and also the possibilities of the design implementations today and in the future. We also needed to devise a sound interaction design process that conveys the modern designers work.

The results showthat young people today in Kalmar preferably and often read newspapers on theInternet and mobile phone.The questions asked was about which media they usually use, the level ofconfidence they had in various media, how interest was in different newscategories, willingness to pay for online news and background issues relatedsubjects. The survey was aimed at high school students in Kalmar and weredistributed and collected on-site at the schools. What was remarkable among theresponses was that young people largely had access to a morning newspaper athome and said that they would consider subscribing to one in the future.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur människor upplever att ständigt vara tillgänglig med sin mobiltelefon och/eller Internet. En kvalitativ metod med semistrukturerade intervjuer har använts, där tolv personer, sex gymnasieungdomar och sex vuxna personer, har intervjuats. Hälften av de intervjuade bor i södra Sverige, hälften i norra. För analysen har McQuails grupperingar inom Uses and gratifications-teorin använts, liksom cultural studies teorier. Resultatet visar att de intervjuade ser det både som en möjlighet och ett krav att vara tillgängliga och uppkopplade, att Internet och mobiltelefon verkar bidra till att arbete/skola och fritid flyter ihop samt att de äldre intervjuade i något högre grad än de yngre upplever negativa aspekter av att vara ständigt tillgänglig.

Cykeln har på senare år fått en allt större roll inom transportpolitiska sammanhang. Det finns ett intresse att öka användningen av cykel, framförallt av miljö- och hälsoskäl. Därmed finns det också ett intresse för att kartlägga cykelvägar på samma sätt bilvägar är kartlagda. Om Sveriges cykelvägar fanns samlade i en databas skulle utveckling och underhåll förenklas. Det skulle även vara möjligt att ta fram informationstjänster som t.ex.

The aim of this paper is two-fold. Firstly, it is the production of a historical and chronological narrative describing the development of the Swedish Red Cross Hospital in Pusan during the years 1950-58. Secondly, it is the investigation of the objectives and aspirations of the organisations and institutions involved and how they affected how the hospital developed during the wartime years and up until the inauguration of the Scandinavian educational hospital, the National Medical Centre, in Seoul. Shortly after the outbreak of the Korean War in 1950 Sweden, a neutral nation, offered to send a contingent for the establishment of a 200 bed mobile field hospital which was to be subjected to the command of the Eighth US Army in Korea. In the end a larger semimobile evacuation hospital was set up in Pusan where both UN soldiers and PoWs were treated, and it came to be known as the Swedish Red Cross Hospital. The decrease in and finally the cessation of hostilities in 1953 opened up for treatment of Korean civilian patients and such work was conducted not only at the Swedish hospital but all over Pusan, though initially it was not formally sanctioned by American and UN authorities.

Servervirtualisering har blivit en allt vanligare syn inom IT-världen och särskilt för de som har stora serverparker eller för verksamheter som är ute efter att effektivisera och skära ner på sina kostnader. Eftersom att virtualisering tillåter konsolidering av hårdvara leder detta till en lägre energiförbrukning och behovet av stora lokaler minskar. Med servervirtualisering går det att köra samma arbetsbelastning på mindre antal servrar än det behövdes innan bytet till servervirtualisering.Då det kan vara svårt att hålla reda på vad ett virtualiseringssystem har för egenskaper och funktioner har vi i denna studie valt att göra en jämförelse mellan tre marknadsledande hypervisors från: VMware, Microsoft och Citrix. Innan jämförelsen redovisas i studiens tabeller presenteras en övergripande teoridel kring servervirtualisering och sedan en genomgång av de kategorier som ligger i fokus för jämförelsen.Studien kommer också att visa på hur en P2V-migrering går till med två av studiens virtualiseringssystem. En fysisk server med Windows Server 2012 som har webbserverollen installerad migrerades utan problem till en virtuell maskin på respektive virtualiseringssystem.

This thesis has been carried out in cooperation with a company which develops mobile sensor platforms. The sensors measure different types of data such as temperature, pressure etc.. They will communicate through the internet with a server that stores data in a database. This system will be controlled and monitored through a web page. The project's aim has been to develop this system and to implement a server, a database, a website and a client application that simulates sensor signals.
