Molntjänster är idag ett växande koncept, men det har inte vuxit så fort som leverantörerna skulle önska. Att definiera molntjänster är både enkelt och svårt. Det kan sägas vara tjänster som utförs över Internet, vilket också är den mest vedertagna definitionen. De tjänster man kanske först tänker på som molntjänster är Dropbox, Google Drive och Microsoft SkyDrive, men inom begreppet molntjänst täcks betydligt mer än så.  AbstractThe background for this study is that there were a great amount of buildings constructed in Sweden in the years 1965-1975 in a program designed to create one million apartments in a time-period of ten years. These buildings are now, somewhat forty years later in most cases in very poor condition and the need for renovation is great and urgent. This has become a growing problem and more and more voices are being heard pointing towards the vast and extremely expensive task of renovating these buildings. Lately, it has also been more and more important for buildings to be energy-efficient and sustainable environment friendly.In recent years there has been an atempt to solve these problems by renovating such buildings but at the same time making them very energy-efficient. This is in some cases being done by isolating the shell of the building and changing the ventilation-system and so forth.

Den  ökande  risken  för  att  drabbas  av  dataintrång  ställer  allt  högre  krav  på datoranvändarens medvetenhet om de risker  och hot  som idag föreligger  i nätverk och  på  Internet.  En  väldigt  stor  del  av  datoranvändare  installerar  inte  alltid  de senaste  uppdateringarna  då  de  tillgängliggörs  och  detta  medför  att  systemen  som saknar dessa viktiga uppdateringar blir extra sårbara för hot från angripare.Tekniska  sårbarhetsanalyser  kan  vara  hjälpsamma  för  att  på  ett  smidigt  sätt uppskatta  potentiella  risker  och sårbarheter  i  ett  befintligt  informationssystem. En stor  fördel  med  många  av  dagens  sårbarhetsverktyg  är  att  de  till  stor  del  är automatiserade  och  således  inte  kräver  allt  för  djupa  kunskaper  för  att  använda, samt att de är relativt enkla att implementera.I  den  här  rapporten  har  säkerheten  i  Windows  7  och  tre  populära  programvarorundersökts.  De  tre  programvarorna  som  låg  till  grund  för  undersökningen  varOracle  Java,   Adobe  Flash  och  Adobe  Reader.  För  att  utvärdera  säkerheten  har  vi genomfört  sårbarhetsanalyser  i  syfte  att  kontrollera  hur  systemets  säkerhet påverkas,  dels  vid  installation  av  nya  programvaror,  men  även  i  systemets  skede före-  och  efter  viktiga  säkerhetsuppdateringar  .   Enklare  penetrationstester  har även genomförts  för att påvisa några av de identifierade sårbarheterna och hur de kan utnyttjas för att få full åtkomst till kritiska delar av systemet.Resultaten  i  rapporten  visar  att  det  är  väldigt  viktigt  att  datoranvändare kontinuerligt uppdaterar sina installerade programvaror och sitt operativsystem för att minska riskerna för dataintrång..

The purpose of the study was to identify and analyse the implications of client virtualisation in company environments. The study chose to focus on the aspects of the current hardware, license management, application management, maintenance work and the implications virtualization would have on these. The work in the study was chosen to limit itself to a Windows environment.The background to the study was due to a growing need to be more flexible and mobile in company environments and in collaboration with the University of Jönköping a problem description and the framing of questions was defined. The essay tooka qualitative initiative to comprehend the complexity of the problem at hand. The empirical data was collected from interviews, literature studies and laboratory work testing applications.

Westermo Teleindustri tillverkar och säljer telefonmodem för industritillämpningar och ska erbjuda ett konfigureringsverktyg till dessa. Verktyget ska konfigurera Westermos modem med Hayes AT-kommandon genom ett PC program som ska vara enkelt att använda så att deras supportavdelning blir avlastad från en del konfigureringssupport. Min uppgift i detta examensarbete var att ta fram en kravspecifikation och implementera en lösning utifrån denna. Kravspecifikation togs fram genom att skicka ut förfrågningar om önskemål till dotterbolag, distributörer och andra som har nära kontakt med slutkunderna. I kravspecifikationen beskrivs vilken funktionalitet programvaran skall innehålla.

Background and problemThe Swedish mobile market is highly competitive despite the oligopoly that currently exists. A short product life cycle together with fads and new innovations puts pressure on the operators to respond to the ever changing environment and to develop and adapt their strategies after it.As a previous study regarding a specific operator?s strategy was cancelled due to the extensive confidentiality surrounding it, an interest was sparked to perform an industry analysis as this is clearly something the actors spend a great deal of time on developing. The launch of the 4G network will offer new opportunities for the operators regarding products services. It may also impact the competition on the overall market.PurposeThe purpose of this thesis is to present a deep analysis of the industry and give the reader a comprehensive picture of existing conditions.

In a city sometimes conflicts arise between either to save the species-rich vacant lots where many species thrive, or to build new buildings. Green roofs can then serve as a refuge for plants and animals that have had their natural habitat destroyed or diminished. Today we know too little about green roofs contribution to the biodiversity in the cities. We also know very little about how various types of vegetation on roof can increase biodiversity and its ability to attract different species.The aim with this study was to examine how different types of vegetation on the roofs affect the biodiversity of the invertebrate and how species-composition and number of individuals differ between the roof- and groundlevel.This study has been carried out on Augustenborg Botanical Roof Gardens in Malmo, and in an area about 1.5 kilometers away from Augustenborg. Three different types of vegetation on the roof and ground floor were selected: sedum- ruderal and grass.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate enantioselective analytical methods by separation of the enantiomers of four drugs (citalopram, zopiclone, tramadol and methylphenidate) and their metabolites. The analyses were performed with HPLC-UV with columns whose stationary phases were based on macrocyclic glycopeptides (Chirobiotic V, V2 and T) and polysaccharides (Lux Cellulose-1, Cellulose-2 and Amylose-2).The Chirobiotic V column showed high selectivity for citalopram and its metabolites. High resolution was obtained using a mobile phase consisting of methanol, acetic acid and ammonia. High selectivity for the enantiomers of zopiclone and its metabolites were obtained on the Cellulose-2 column using a mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile and ammonium acetate buffer.The enantiomers of tramadol were separated with the Amylose-2 column. However, changes in the pressure arose, probably caused by the additive NH4HCO3.

I detta fall är teknologin canvas-element som ritar ut 2-D grafik.Två implementationer av ett motorcykelspel har utvecklats med fysikmotorerna Box2D respektive Chipmunk.Målet med arbetet var att utvärdera bästa val av fysikmotor vid utveckling av ett spel i 2-D med krävande fysik i HTML5 till mobil..

New technological innovations like tablets and smartphones have a taken significant market share on the web and puts new demands on webpages, the user interface and compatibility among different client devices. The full test of a web-based system prior to the publication is often regarded as an important part of the process to create a complete and successful website. This bachelor thesis investigates the possibility to analyze mobile-adapted web sites using a system that first records the visitor's activities and then replays them for an expert analyst to provide valuable information to developers about how their site can be improved.The essay begins with a litterature study on today's most common web development tools and then examines the possibility to apply them during the development of the analysis tool. The work also describes two methods, pair programming and waterfall method used during the project. Three different evaluation methods are presented and one of the models is applied on the finished system.The project results in a web-based analysis tool written mainly in JavaScript using the jQuery library.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to find out how information seeking habits and experiences of people in different generations affects their expectations on information retrieval systems like OPAC. Two OPACs are used, one web-OPAC and one mobile-OPAC. The following questions are asked: how can theories about information seeking behaviors explain why and in which way one seeks information? In which way does information seeking behaviors and habits affect the experience of OPAC? Which differences and/or similarities can be found between the web-OPAC and the mobile-OPAC? How does generational aspects affect experiences and preferences in an information seeking context? The theoretical framework of the thesis is information retrieval with several models about information-seeking/searching needs and behaviors. The empirical data contains interviews with nine people in different generations and protocols about two different OPACs.

I denna rapport jämförs ett antal fria statistiska programvaror som gick att finna på och ladda ned från internet under våren 2007. Programmen som valts ut att ingå i denna studie ska ha uppfyllt följande krav:- heltäckande statistiskt program- helt kostnadsfritt- ingen prova-på-variant- kompatibelt med Windows XP (32-bitar) eller Windows Vista (64-bitar). De program som efter utsortering kom med i jämförelsen visade sig vara av ytterst skiftande inriktning och innehåll. Detta stämde inte alla gånger överens med den beskrivning som hemsidor eller tidigare jämförelser gett. Samtliga programvaror har jämförts, dels genom att studera om några förbestämda analyser går att genomföra och dels genom ett allmänt intryck om hur programmen är att arbeta med.

The Swedish parliament has decided that Sweden should increase its usage of renewable fuel sources to a level of 50% of the total energy consumption in Sweden by the year 2020. One way to reach that goal may be to increase the usage of stumps as a bio-fuel. In Sweden stump harvesting is possible on about 5-10% of the total harvested area and thus contribute with 1,3 - 2,6 TWh per year. An increase stump harvest doesn't come without its drawbacks for the environment. When harvesting stumps a tracked excavator is used to pry the stumps from the ground and then cut the stumps into smaller pieces.

The aim of this study was to analyse ninth graders self reported screen based activities, sedentary time and musculoskeletal symptoms and pain intensity. The other aim was to examine changes regarding musculoskeletal pain and inactivity between ninth graders from a cross sectional study in year 2004. To meet this aim, following questions were designed: How is the relationship between screen based activities, inactivity, musculoskeletal symptoms, pain intensity and differences between girls and boys? How have musculoskeletal symptoms and screen time changed since year 2004?Method: The method used for this study was a quantitative method. The research was carried out using a questionnaire that was answered by pupils from 11 schools from all over Sweden.

Studies of modern communication media such as Cell Phones and so called Instant Messengers are popular today. This study focused on these modern techniques, focused on parents as a target group and on what is important for them in everyday communication.By exploratory using three focus groups it became clear that the children, and the link to them was the absolute most important thing for the parents. It became clear that this link to a great extent today exists through the mobile phone.In a following study a Mobile Instant Messenger called My Friends was introduced. It was used by two families during two weeks to see how it would change the communication within the family. The focus was to see how problems with availability were handled, it turned out that:My friends had a more obvious way of indicating availability than the Cell Phone had.
