SammanfattningDen här uppsatsen beskriver arbetet bakom migreringen av en .NET webapplikation skriven i C#, kallad AMM, till en molnapplikation som sedan lagts upp på Windows Azure datormoln.Arbetet är gjort på uppdrag av Sogeti Karlstad som är ett konsultföretag för IT-relaterade lösningar. Målet bakom migreringen var att utreda om Windows Azures molntjänst lämpade sig till att användas för mindre applikationer såsom denna. Själva uppgiften var att få applikationen att fungera i Windows Azures datormoln samt att förbättra befintliga funktioner inom applikationen. Resultatet blev en applikation som drivs helt och hållet av Microsoft Windows Azure, och den har funktionen att kunna skapa nya databaser beroende spå hur många kunder som använder sig av tjänsten. .

När Windows Vista introducerades förändrades mappstrukturen för hur användarprofilen sparas jämfört med tidigare Windowsversioner såsom Windows XP. Denna rapport undersöker kompatibilitetsproblem med Roaming User Profiles mellan äldre och nyare versioner av operativsystemet. Syftet med rapporten var att utreda vilka problem som kan uppstå, vad det gäller Roaming User Profiles, vid en övergång från Windows XP till Windows Vista eller 7. Undersökningen genomfördes med hjälp av laborationer, litteratur och tester för att hitta problemen såväl som lösningar till dem. Resultatet visar att profiler skapade med Windows XP inte följer med till Windows Vista eller 7 utan det skapas sammanlagt två olika profiler, en för det äldre och en för det nyare operativsystemet.

The purpose of this master thesis is to investigate if the mobile library has a similar role as the public library. To study this further we intend to examine the value and function of the mobile library. Answers are sought to the following questions: Can the mobile library be seen as a public library in a smaller scale? How do the users experience the value and function of the mobile library? What does the library staff think of the value and function of the mobile library for the users? What would the consequences be if the service of the mobile libraries would not exist? The method used was qualitative interviews. The groups of respondents are mobile library users and library staff.

This has been called Mobile Ajax. While the technique is the same, Mobile Ajax generally is considered to be a special case of Ajax, because it deals with problems specific to the mobile market.The purpose of this thesis has been to examine which possibilities and disadvantages has the Mobile Ajax from developers and users perspective. In addition we compare Mobile Ajax with Java Micro Edition (Java ME) and Flash Lite.This has been done through literature studies and development of a databased chat client (MAIM -Mobile Ajax Instant Messenger). The application sends and receives direct messages in real time between differently mobile devices.

SyfteSyftet med denna uppsats var att genomföra en kvalitativ undersökning kring om KDE kan ersätta Windows XP som användargränssnitt för normalanvändare på en persondator. Vi ville även ta fram de fördelar och nackdelar som KDE har i jämförelse med Windows XP, med eventuella förslag till förbättring.MetodPrimärdata hämtades genom att testa operativsystemet på 25 personer som fick "tänka högt". Detta för att få en anblick om var det kan finnas problem. Även sekundärdata i form av litteratur inom området, tidskrifter, artiklar, rapporter och information från Internet har använts.SlutsatsResultatet visade klart och tydligt att testpersonerna var nöjda med Linux KDE efter det att de testat det men majoriteten skulle ej kunna tänka sig ersätta Windows XP med Linux KDE. Alltså är inte Linux KDE en möjlig ersättare till Windows XP..

Mobile technology is developing quickly and becomming a part of daily life and communication. Bluetooth Low Energy is presented as a new way of mobile interaction. However there are not enough studies in this field on the interaction between mobile devices and the physical world. In order to understand user needs, and to encourage users to interact, we simulated an interaction process through designing and testing a prototype in a specific indoor environment. Prototype effectiveness and main characteristics for future mobile application was evaluated through a qualitative user study with 20 participants who interacted with our prototype..

MindMe is an aid for people with cognitive memory impairments. The aid is completely new and has beendeveloped within this bachelor thesis, no product of this nature could be found on the market before. Theidea came from Niclas Jarhäll, CEO of Mutual Benefits. Mutual Benefits were also partners in the project.The project was carried out by us in cooperation with Bachelor of Science in Innovation Engineeringstudents Malin Albertsson and Victoria Hedman at Halmstad university. Nethouse Sverige AB is an IT consultancy in need of a mobile solution to inform participants of in-house events and distribute news to their consultants working in the field. Examensarbetet behandlar en jämförelse av Server Message Block 3.0 och föregångaren 2.1 i ett befintligt nätverk. Jämförelsen utfördes i fyra laborationsmiljöer bestående av fyra operativsystem: Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7 ochWindows 8. Sammanlagt har fyra tester utförts: Förstudie, Test 1, Test 2 och Test 3. Förstudien utfördes för att testa nätverksprestanda mellan två datorer. De andra testerna satte SMB 2.1 och SMB 3.0 på prov.I Test 1 ansågs SMB 3.0 prestera sämre än SMB 2.1, för att bekräfta resultaten kontaktades Jose Barreto på Microsoft.

In a logistics organization this flow of information is equally important as in any other kind of organization. In this paper we have explored information flows in logistics organizations by applying, boundary spanning and the mobile-stationary divide perspective. In boundary spanning the main goal is to erase or relocate some of the boundaries within an organization, in our case to make the flow of information internally as well as externally better.

Projektet som denna rapport beskriver hade som målsättning att utveckla två applikationer på beställning av företaget Teknikhuset Umeå. En av dessa applikationer skulle vara till Windows 8 plattformen och den andra till Windows Phone 8 plattformen. Applikationernas syfte var att ge användaren information om högtider från kyrkoåret med hjälp av information hämtad från Svenska Kyrkans kalender API (se Henrik Johanssons rapport).Denna rapport beskriver utformandet av användargrässnitten till dessa två plattformar. Syftet med rapporten är att undersöka hur utvecklaren kan bygga ett optimalt användargränssnitt för respektive plattform och samtidigt undersöka om det finns likheter i dessa två utvecklingsprocesser. Om likheter i utvecklingsprocessen observeras så kommer dessa dokumenteras för att i framtiden kunna effektivisera utvecklingsprocessen för applikationer avsedda för dessa två plattformar.

The radio protocol used by the system is developed by Lansen with the purpose to be energy efficient. The alarm systems target groups are individuals, businesses and government agencies.
